My Pikachu was 541RP at level 9 and is now 572RP after learning 'Skill Trigger M' at level 10. This is a jump of 31 RP which is significantly more than previous level ups. This may suggest that main skill frequency is part of the RP formula or is there another reason?
Does anyone else have examples of RP changing significantly after learning a sub skill either by level up or sub skill seed?

Based on the description I presume Helping Bonus only applies to team members but not the Pokemon itself? If that's the case this RP boost is based on the skill rather than the impact of the skill to this pokemon alone.

Maybe because the new snorlax favors different berries now and your pika is better suited to that?
Or the ingredient pika drops

The old Snorlax liked pikas berries but not this new one. I recorded the RP at level 9 but I didn't check that it stayed the same for start of new week.

i think helping bonus is not to be scofed at.
if it increases the chance to drop something by 10% its still a huge gain.
its 5% but for the whole team. so around 25% bonus on a full team

Used a sub skill seed and upgraded ingredient finder S to M resulting in increase of 37 RP (456->493)

in hindsight need to include nature to know what portion of the RP is from the skill
most would be % increases but there may be some flat RP increases for skills like sleep EXP and helping bonus
