I've tested this with another friend. Yes, we can unblock someone.
When she blocked me, she instantly disappear from my town (she still in the town) and her house also disappear. Also when she blocked me, she has a note saying that you will not get town matched with the person you blocked.
The person you just block, you also won't see him/her.

Hello! I'd like to try and get some help on behalf of my beloved 😅 he is using a laptop to play heartopia, he downloaded it via Steam. Even though all settings are in Low, it's so laggy on his end. Like we have tried to meetup on heartopia and he's always suddenly disconnecting. Even going to my private town, heartopia crashes a few times before loading. Are there any ways to make the game a bit more playable via laptop?
This was what happened when he tried joining my private town last night. It took a while before he was able to join. There's no one else in my town, just me (and him after he was able to join)

It has glitched on an action, as a temporary fix you can:
- go into build mode for a few seconds, move a piece of furniture, then save and exit, or
- switch to a new town to reset both of your positions back to the front of your house
either of these should clear the glitched action and let it be interactable again
Try switching networks if you have any other options available (eg WiFi —> LTE)
Please check for any controllers plugged in to your PC, and unplug them if there are. This can include Bluetooth devices like headsets, or any Logitech devices, or (sometimes) keyboards. They need to be fully disconnected, not just turned off. Then restart the game.
If it turns out to be your keyboard, it may be due to conflicts with default keyboard drivers being mis-detected as controllers, which the game doesn't support. You can temporarily fix this by:
- Open Device Manager on your PC
- Expand the Human Interface Devices section
- Right-click and Disable the following 2 devices:
HID-compliant consumer control device

if it works on one pc but not the other, there’s likely a settings difference between the two that is causing the chat error. You could check your computer settings and compare the two, are they the same type of pc?
The only other possibility i can think of rn is that maybe you have a controller plugged in, the game isnt controller-supported so having one plugged in tends to cause errors, though usually they’re associated with not being able to move, rather than not being able to use chat

Are you clicking stop on the recorder, or just letting it go all the way until it stops on its own? Which instrument in-game are you trying to record with?

The game's optimization isn't great, so even if you have good network connection, the game sometimes has trouble finding it, which can cause these sorts of errors. You can try:
- Restarting your router
- Manually forgetting your WiFi and manually reconnecting to it
- Going on Airplane mode, waiting a few seconds, then turning it back off
A lot of people were successful with using a different type of Internet connection just for log-in purposes, eg:
- a different WiFi
- 5G, LTE
- Cellphone data / hotspot
- VPN (Proton VPN is used by a lot of players here)
- DNS (Warp 1.1.1.1 is recommended by one of the helpers here)
once you get into the game, you can switch back to your normal internet connection
If you're playing on PC, try updating your graphics card.

Do you mean if you have characters on multiple servers in the same account? Account deletion will delete the entire account associated with the log in method, not just one server’s account

Hi! I think I''m having a bug with my MLP badges. I already have most of the badges and it does say in the counter, but aren't showing on the display from the MLP part ingame. I have them in my home still showing but not in here
no worries, there will be more meteor showers. it's more important to collect the shards than to find doris during a meteor shower, so that you can stockpile the shards :D
do you have any badges displayed in your house? the game interface has trouble detecting badges unless they're in your inventory (and is buggy in general, so if all your badges are in your bag, try switching towns)

yeah the mlp banner is buggy, when you send badges, it also won't acknowledge duplicates unless they're all in the same location (eg all in your backpack or all in your warehouse). glad you got it working!
when you enter the area, it should give you a cutscene related to the tree. try re-entering the little hill from different angles to see if you can get the cutscene to appear, since that's what gets the tree to display

Fix the pets, they keep walking through walls. It’s not realistic for cats and dogs to walk through walls even when the door is closed. Also we can’t cook or take the food, and the button to stop it from burning doesn’t work. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

hmmm. i checked google, it's possible that the game isn't optimized for his laptop. there's a lot of places where the game isn't optimized well tbh, but that's a problem with the game and not with his device specifically.
i'd ask him to check if he has enough ram/memory available on his cdrive, since that's where the game passes information through the computer, even if it's downloaded elsewhere.

yeah it's the same server :((
try checking through the other servers to see if there's a character on any of them. if that dosen't work, double check your log in details - if you had any other accounts binded to your old account, not just steam, try logging in through one of them instead
if there are any other steam accounts possibly logged in on your device, make sure to log out of the other ones, or go through all of them to see if the account was made through one of them instead. the game makes it really hard to figure out which account was binded exactly, some people thought they were logging in with one email but it turns out it was a different one

The growth/proficiency prompt sometimes has an error so the ability to interact with you pet disappears. Do Watch, Settings, Return to login, join new town via windmill.
Entering and exiting build mode or blueprint mode and moving a place of floor occasionally works too.
** These are temporary fixes until the devs patch the issue **

what server are you playing on?
if you had any other account binded, try logging in through them. if you have any other steam accounts logged in on your device, try logging in through the other accounts to see if the account was accidentally created through them, it's hard to verify which account is used once you're in the game
I only ever used either steam or google which i tried both. As for steam, no other accounts were ever logged in on this pc.

Help! I can't interact with my pet because it has no action bubbles!
It has glitched on an action, as a temporary fix you can:
- go into build mode for a few seconds, move a piece of furniture, then save and exit, or
- switch to a new town to reset both of your positions back to the front of your house
either of these should clear the glitched action and let it be interactable again
The game's optimization isn't great, so even if you have good network connection, the game sometimes has trouble finding it, which can cause these sorts of errors. You can try:
- Restarting your router
- Manually forgetting your WiFi and manually reconnecting to it
- Going on Airplane mode, waiting a few seconds, then turning it back off
A lot of people were successful with using a different type of Internet connection just for log-in purposes, eg:
- a different WiFi
- 5G, LTE
- Cellphone data / hotspot
- VPN (Proton VPN is used by a lot of players here)
- DNS (Warp 1.1.1.1 is recommended by one of the helpers here)
once you get into the game, you can switch back to your normal internet connection
If you're playing on PC, try updating your graphics card.

depends on the other player, my guess is it's their nickname in the game. it'd be like if someone's nickname was set to "cheese", it would say "cheese opened ferret's visiting gift". if their nickname was set to "奶酪" (the chinese word for cheese), it would say "奶酪 opened ferret's visiting gift"

all of your data should be saved by the game's servers, but i would bind some extra accounts just in case (eg if you usually log in via steam, bind in a google account or facebook account so that you have a backup log-in method)

Since yesterday I've been hitting a bug where the spatula icon doesn't show up while cooking food. It doesn't happen all the time, but I've gotten at least a dozen Bizarre foods simply because I cannot respond while cooking.
I should mention that when I cook and this happens nothing pops up after starting cooking, not the timer, nor the spatula.

I found a possible bug while editing my old house saved in Blueprints. When I try to place or copy the same wallpaper again, the color changes from dark purple to white.
This never happened before, and now I can’t continue building with the same purple variant because every new piece shows up with a white base that doesn’t match the rest of the structure.

It has glitched on an action, as a temporary fix you can:
- go into build mode for a few seconds, move a piece of furniture, then save and exit, or
- switch to a new town to reset both of your positions back to the front of your house
either of these should clear the glitched action and let it be interactable again
Help! My character is walking on their own without my input / I can’t move after pulling out a tool / my tools are aiming themselves on PC!
Please check for any controllers plugged in to your PC, and unplug them if there are. This can include Bluetooth devices like headsets, or any Logitech devices, or (sometimes) keyboards. They need to be fully disconnected, not just turned off. Then restart the game.
If it turns out to be your keyboard, it may be due to conflicts with default keyboard drivers being mis-detected as controllers, which the game doesn't support. You can temporarily fix this by:
- Open Device Manager on your PC
- Expand the Human Interface Devices section
- Right-click and Disable the following 2 devices:
HID-compliant consumer control device
HID-compliant game controller
This should temporarily resolve the issue
No idea if/when the devs will fix/change it, in the meantime, you can try these:
- putting your stoves in a different part of your house they don't normally go to
- feeding them/play/pet/clean them to full so they don't bother you as much
- putting your stoves on the second floor of your house
- putting your stoves on a table so that they're elevated off the ground (pets can walk through furniture, this is intended)
- building a fence around your stoves
As a last resort, you can find someone who has stoves set out at their plot and use their’s instead

it looks like your game is having trouble loading in assets, but they're still there in the game, as indicated by the pop up ("can only sow on empty planters"). you can try switching networks (eg WiFi -> LTE) to see if that helps, or switching towns. if neither of those works, you can try to click 'repairs' on the start screen to see if that helps. if that doesn't work either, i'd suggest checking your graphics settings in the game (watch >> settings) to see if there's a rendering setting you can fiddle with

best alternative is to elevate your stoves. So put them on tables or make the kitchen upstairs

I think you have to feed princess stella fish if I remember correctly, and the daily tasks will be under daily and then there should be a complete residents requests that you can view

ah, you only get 2 stamp books for free, that's why. (one to start the quest, one for finishing the quest) to get more, they'll randomly come out of the reward capsules from doing the daily quests
do you have any ios updates waiting? one player said they updated their ios and their lag got significantly better
unfortunately i think they changed the screen resolution settings menu for pc users, there were a few people who came in saying their screen resolution no longer shows up as an option. if customer service is saying its because the pc isnt good enough, my guess is that the resolution size isn't supported anymore 
try restarting your device to clear old files, can also try clicking 'repairs' in the start menu to redownload the files in case anything was corrupted. if you have a really fancy build though (close to load limit), the game might be having trouble rendering everything

you may need to completely log out of the other gmail on your device, especially if you're trying to log in on a google chrome browser and have your gmail signed in on google chrome. you could try setting a different browser as the default when logging in to the new email.

How much space do you have available on your phone? According to apple store, it needs 4gb, but it might need more for initial download. the game isnt optimized very well

So, I finally got the Panda cat in my Pet Shop today, but unfortunately it had to be the one stuck in the wall. I cannot purchase it. Do I have to wait until it shows up in my shop again? That could be forever…

You can go to the center of the town to buy them. Clothes shop and Furniture shop are just side by side.
Make sure you do all your main quests, the quests will guide you through these.

Help! I can't log in / I'm getting a timeout error / It's stuck at loading / I suddenly have high ping / etc
The game's optimization isn't great, so even if you have good network connection, the game sometimes has trouble finding it, which can cause these sorts of errors. You can try:
- Restarting your router
- Manually forgetting your WiFi and manually reconnecting to it
- Going on Airplane mode, waiting a few seconds, then turning it back off
A lot of people were successful with using a different type of Internet connection just for log-in purposes, eg:
- a different WiFi
- 5G, LTE
- Cellphone data / hotspot
- VPN (Proton VPN is used by a lot of players here)
- DNS (Warp 1.1.1.1 is recommended by one of the helpers here)
once you get into the game, you can switch back to your normal internet connection
If you're playing on PC, try updating your graphics card.

i have question about logging in heartopia.. since my boyfriend will be out of town and wont be able to play heartopia for days, he wanted me to open his account and atleast do his dailys and he also doesnt want to miss out some of his gamg. our account is both bind in google account. when i tried to log out mine and log in his account it automatically reconnect me to my account as it didnt let me atleast choose what email will log in. can anyone help me about this?

so i have been looking at the starter birds like the greater flamingo and mallard and they do the other 3 mostly chirp and food, but standing between 2 birds for 5 min and they only do food and chirp for 95% of the time and the last 5 is preening and i have done it for around 2/3 days now 🙂
some birds stretch on certain weather only, or even certain time. I would recommend to watch the birds again when its rain, if you look at collection list, all birds listed before golden oriole do stretch when raining.

I believe you have to change a setting on your google chrome if you’re playing on PC. I had that same issue too and eventually created a steam account with them instead, before realising I just had to enable a setting 🥹 so unfortunately I can’t play heartopia on my phone until my google account one is deleted

Thank you for the help but there is no support center. I have looked in all of my settings and it doesn't exist. I don't know why but I've been looking for this support center for weeks and it just doesn't exist on my account and i play on the pc and phone and looked on both in all settings. I've tried to contact the team about it and they basically told me to look harder even after I sent screenshots of every settings page I have access too. I dont know if its a bug or whats going on but it just doesn't exist for me. Its supper frustrating 😖

If you already submitted an order, the ticket is in the machine being used to complete the order. If you want to get it stamped, you need to cancel the order to get the ticket back
The game initially gives you two tickets for free (one to start the quest, and another as a reward for finishing the quest). After that, you can randomly receive more from the daily quest gacha capsules, but the rates are pretty low, so they’re rare
I've tried on both 😅 I was hoping it was an issue with one of my versions being weird or corrupted or something but sadly that isn't the case. I did get the support team email from another team member on the google app store so I've reached out through there. I'm hoping the issues get resolved soon

thats what i did at first i was still experiencing the same issue, im trying it again for the second time and see if it works idk
you may need to check to make sure you have enough space on your device as well, the game passes information through your cdrive even if it isnt downloaded there
You can also try rebooting your device to see if that will clear any unused files in the download

probably a question for #gameplay-help
there's not much you can do, the pets are all unique and have their own personalities. some cat perseonalities (like clingy) are easier to take out, while others will refuse 100%. the only recommendations the community has so far is to feed/pet/play/wash them to full, and then spam the 'go out' button to see if they'll accept it, but it doesn't work with every pet
im trying to complete the watering plants step and it isnt taking - did almost 3 rounds of tomatoes and nothing
Try watering your neighbour's crops~ because rain/snow will wet your planters so it'll not be counted
When the planters are already wet (dark brown soil), the game won't recognize if you try to water them again. (When it's snowing/raining, the planters are automatically watered for you!)
To get around this, you can try:
- building a roof over your planters so they dry out (light brown soil), or
- watering another player's planters to complete the watering quest. this works because watering someone else's planters gives them a bonus, which is stackable up to 4 times by other players

I got a new Samsung a17 and the game is WAY more glitchy than on my old phone. It freezes and I have to exit out and get back on. I'm not sure why or what to do

the cats jumping on peoples heads has been a bit buggy, can send it to the support center to let them know it's happening. otherwise, i think the only way to reset it is to put the cat down when you're at home, or force the cat off your head via town hopping
@lyric parrot i'd suggest opening a ticket with the support center so they can look into it, the game isn't optimized well. make sure you have enough memory storage remaining - i'd suggest updating your software/ios, but with a new phone, that shouldn't be the reason
you can also try fiddling with the graphics settings to see which one is causing the lag. if there's a lot of fancy houses in your town, that can cause lag with all the assets loading in, so you can try loading into a town with less people and see if that helps at all

if it's not working on both, it's most likely something to do with your device. the game isnt optimized well, so most likely one of the updates put it out of sync with your device 😔
- could you check to make sure you have enough memory space on your cdrive? even if the game isnt downloaded there, it still passes information through the drive
- did you recently download a software update / do you have a pending software update?
- you can also try running the game as an administrator, i've seen people say that worked for them when they were having trouble with loading the game

and it shows up the most with pc, though i've seen mobile users also report the problem. it's really a game problem, it isn't optimized well so it has trouble finding the network even if the network is strong. usually switching networks solves it, since the game just needs a reminder that the network exists

I bought the Snowflake Mini Motorcycle before the end of the fashion wave. I noticed at the time that it was not displayed in the vehicle collections, but let it go.
Today I noticed the update added the mini motorcycle to vehicle collections, but it did not register my ownership of the vehicle and shows as locked still. I tried placing the bike back in my inventory and replacing on my plot, but no luck.
Please assist with this bug or advise if there’s a way to trigger the unlock in collections. @proud ingot

huh, haven't seen people report that one before, but i guess not many people bought it
i'm not sure if it will work, but when an item is in the mailbox, the game won't unlock it in the collection until it's accepted from the mailbox and put into either the warehouse or backpack. so one possible way to trigger it is to force all of your items on your plot into your backpack while it's full, and try to get it to go into your mailbox instead so that you can re-accept it from there. idk if it will work though + it might be too much of a hassle to do

- have you tried verifying the integrity of the game files through steam?
- you could also try running the game as an administrator and see if that helps, i've seen people recommend that a few times for other issues
- you could try downloading the taptap launcher and see if the game runs on that, some people have reported that using the other pc option sometimes works better for them. you'll need to uninstall heartopia from steam, if you have it installed on both steam and taptap, apparently it causes issues

Do you have the app NVIDIA that pops up in the upper right corner by any chance ? What you can do firstly is to uninstall and reinstall to see if that helps you accept the user agreement. It has helped some other players in the past.

Can you make sure that your phone isn’t on silent mode or that your phone’s vibration features haven’t been changed in any way ? Or if there is any application that may be interfering with the vibration ( although I know you mentioned it still vibrates when your fish is caught ).
IPhones are so unique with this game, because even tampering with one little thing interferes with the games’ features coming through ( ex: silent mode on = completely silences the game ).

All checked. I leave silent mode off because i actually enjoy the bgm of the game. Vibration unchanged. All apps closed too. I even on and offed the vibration setting to see if it fixes. No go 😮💨

yeah, the game can pretty easily detect when 3rd party apps are used (and sometimes over-detects 3rd party apps), so if you manually created your paintings, it shouldn't be an issue

try these and see if they help. The game's optimization isn't great, so even if you have good network connection, the game sometimes has trouble finding it, which can cause these sorts of errors. You can try:
- Restarting your router
- Manually forgetting your WiFi and manually reconnecting to it
- Going on Airplane mode, waiting a few seconds, then turning it back off
A lot of people were successful with using a different type of Internet connection just for log-in purposes, eg:
- a different WiFi
- 5G, LTE
- Cellphone data / hotspot
- VPN (Proton VPN is used by a lot of players here)
- DNS (Warp 1.1.1.1 is recommended by one of the helpers here)
once you get into the game, you can switch back to your normal internet connection
If you're playing on PC, try updating your graphics card.

Does anyone have a link which might explain how time works in Heartopia? I play on the Americas server because that's where my daughter is, but I'm currently in India. I figured out that timing of events is in Indian time. It seems like the time for the weather is also is converted to the local time where I am, BUT...as I'm fishing and looking for insects which only appear at certain times of the day I'm don't know if I should be looking for example morning Pacific Time or also for the time where I'm at. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
A lot of the times in the game are converted to your local time, but each server has its own server time. You can see the time difference listed when you go to the watch >> click the clock, a pop up should appear with the server time, and the supposed time difference.
When looking at resources for fish, insects, birds, etc that only appear at certain times of day, assume that they are listed by server time if it isn’t a screenshot from your game specifically. This is split into 4 time categories:
- midnight -> 6am (eg “night”)
- 6am -> noon (eg “morning”)
- noon -> 6pm (eg “day”)
- 6pm -> midnight (eg “evening”)
If a bug is said to only appear from 6am->noon, this would be server time, and you’ll need to translate it to your local time
this seems to be an apple issue, judging by reddit.

One other thing: Am I right assuming that the weather (sunny, cloudy, etc) are in my local time? My daughter and I compared the five numbers and mine seemed to convert into her local time...so if I'm looking for sunny weather and I see it at 22 then it would be at 10 pm my time, right?

There’s three places in the game you can access the support center from:
- From the loading screen, click the round icon in the upper corner with the headset logo.
- From the start screen, Settings (the gear icon in the top right) >> Support Center >> Contact Customer Service.
- From in-game, Settings >> Account Management >> Support Center >> Contact Customer Service
To check your tickets for their reply, go to the Support Center, click the blue-green circle with the headset icon, and a popup should appear with the option to view your current and inactive tickets. Check back on your tickets from time to time, as you won't otherwise receive a notification when they reply.

Hi! I think I might be having a touchscreen/input issue.
My character sometimes stops moving even though I’m still pressing the walk button, and the controls feel inconsistent overall. I’m also having trouble fishing. I can hook the fish, but when I try to reel it in using the touchscreen, it randomly stops responding which causes the line to break and I lose the fish.
Is anyone else experiencing this? :,)))

Can you please try repairing your game files ? You can do this by going to the login screen of the game and then pressing on the button with a wrench on it. It’s called Repairs 
If this doesn’t work, you may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. 
The issue most commonly attached to this is / are controllers which are plugged in or trying to connect via Bluetooth.
✨ Can you please unplug any controllers and restart your game ?
✨ Can you please disconnect any and all devices trying to connect to the game via Bluetooth ? This can include controllers, steering wheels for other games, anything with a joystick, any Logitech devices, wireless keyboards and etc. Then please restart your game.

Hello I am having a problem about the drawing board when I try to throw it went missing and cannot be seen in my bag after throwing to retrieve. I tried to buy a new one but it says the drawing board is already limit when I tried to throw it in a certain place to used. So how am I try to retrieved the drawing board that I threw somewhere cannot be found. So technically I cannot use the drawing board in any place whenever I want to paint. As the game says that you can place the drawing board anywhere , so that's the problem.

Thank you for responding! But i don't use any controllers only my fingers to play on phone. Anyway surprisingly it came back to normal but this isn't the first time it happened that's why i asked
It's not a problem ! Do you know if there is anything at all connecting to your phone via Bluetooth ? The game is still being optimized and at the moment anything at all that is connecting via Bluetooth is being recognized as a controller by the game and is causing movement / tool issues ( most common = fishing ).
I'm glad it got resolved temporarily though !

When you water a friends crop/ flower that's already watered, you'll see a tick mark show up on the star. Max is having 4 ticks, after that it doesn't do anything. But I notice that days where I'm not maxed watered I see less bountiful and get more of the lower star ratings

The only thing i can think of are my bluetooth headphones but i never use them to play the game ( manly because when I play instruments the notes comes too late🥹)
Now that i think about it my bluetooth is always on, should i turn it off when I play even though nothing is connected?

I pulled on the forest bell banner and got some furniture items that I had previously gotten for example, the ruffle tea table. But I can't find it in my bag, warehouse, or mail. Are we not able to get more than one of the same furniture piece from the Gacha pulls?

No, dupes you pull get converted in to tickets you can use to exchange for items. Technically you can just purchase another tea table from the exchange store on the banner
It says "Duplicate Exhibits drawn from Frostbell Spell (Treehouse) will be converted into Exhibition Ticket Stubs, which can be used to redeem souvenir versions of obtained Exhibits via View at the bottom right."

i updated it already and still the same issue.
Hard to say then. This just happened after an update? You've restarted your PC and Steam, right? Sometimes Unity has a conflict with Steam's overlay, so maybe turning that off. Only other resort I can think of is that maybe it's conflicting with Steam Cloud backup, so maybe turning that off.
Yeah this happened after the update and restarted everything so idk. But I guess I’ll try turning those off.

Hello, I recharged today 3/19, and it looks like I got double charge but I only receive 1 top up but my bank shows there’s two. I requested for refund for the second top up but after few minutes it seems that it got reverse already and didnt got posted. But I realized it might refund the 1st one since I requested already and I read that I might get banned for it. Is there anyway to fix this? If ever the refund request goes through, I can buy again if that helps my case.
