There's a maximum amount of people that can be in a forum thread at any one time - this is a Discord limitation, unfortunately. This means that anyone already in the thread can message in it without issue, but new people can't join in. The mods create new threads whenever one fills up, so check the title of the thread you're trying to join, and look for similar titles but with numbers (eg 2, 3, etc). The one with the biggest number is the newest thread, and is most likely still open for people to join. You can't create your own thread, need to use the pre-made ones

Hi, I wonder if anyone could advise. I made a new home on my island and then changed my main house to the one I made on said island. Items that I had placed in the home no longer appear and they are not in my mailbox for me to collect. I realise that I did not have enough space for these items in storage and backpack at the time.of the change but are they really gone? I spent a lot of money and resources on the sets. Either through the furniture store, gatcha or building myself. Could anyone advise on what to do please? ( Addendum: actually don't worry. I've figured it out 😅)

did you remove the blueprint from your island before placing it at your main house?
its 6am est and that means dailyrequest updates , currently 6:04 am and i have no new villager requests

the game studio isn't in america either, so if you want to voice your opinion about it, it's a good idea to send htem feedback in their support center
not everyone who plays in america server lives in america, so it's not going to be fair to someone no matter what they ultimately decide. so the best thing to do is to send them feedback so that they can gather information about how in-demand it is

when you're in #suggestion , type /suggest. a bunch of discord commands should appear, click the one for the suggestion bot (ROTI). then you can type your suggestion
devs don't really look in this server for feedback or bug reports, so if you want your suggestion read by a dev/staff member, i'd suggest using their support center instead

There was an update for this game in Taptap(not ingame), where can we find the patch notes?
Since that update, my client crashes every time i switch windows
it worked!
Plus, I am on IPAD IOS 26.3.1 Either since last maintenance update, or since time change, the game has been having shut down problems. I was having no shut down problems, at all, with the America server, before the maintenance last week. Or before the time change this past weekend. Without warning, no matter what character is doing, game just shuts down. And have to restart.
another player also commented a similar issue here, please report it to their customer service so that they can fix it, sicne it should not be shutting down your game at random

Sorry if this is the wrong channel, but I realized I don’t remember which email I used to make my account, and I can’t find it through the account page or email verification as Heartopia doesn’t use that. I want to see which email is linked to my account because I can’t log in on other devices, nor can I log out of my current device at risk of losing my current user. I appreciate any help!!
Sadly u can't check ur Google account, u can try randomly putting every email in ur new device or ur original acc in old device bind it with other acc like Facebook then used that as ur login

Is it me or did the devs reduce the number of stars ratings that can be achieved while cooking???
i have recently getting less stars in cooking, even when using a rainbow banquet. I'm lvl 10 in cooking.....

I'd like to ask for help with a problem that's been persisting for a while. I'm at builder level 37, but I still don't have access to the Island, which was unlocked at level 30. Inexplicably, I can't find the item (table, or object) that, when placed in the house, gives me access to the Island. It's not in my inventory, it's not available in build mode, and I can't craft it. Could someone help me with this problem?! 🥹

You have to buy it from atara for 100 stars
Make sure you have the steam overlay enabled in steam settings (steam -> settings -> in game -> enable overlay) and make sure its enabled for Heartopia (library - > heartopia -> properties -> general -> enable steam overlay in game).
I think you need to talk to her to complete it
Not really technical help but just wondering if it is possible to have 2 different 'accounts' on 2 different servers? Would your progress save individually on each server and you could bounce between the 2 or do you lose your progress on the one when you create the other?

There's currently a bug issue where it says I only have one cat and one dog even though I have two cats. When I get my daily reward from my second cat, it only shows the picture of my first cat. Same when I go to the pet shop. It says I need to adopt more cats, but it wont even let me adopt.

Hi, I have my account binded in steam. Never switched servers, and only had it connected to steam.
Neither did I use a different device to login, and now when launching the game, I'm brought back to the beginning.

Yes the progress save individually don’t worry all your progress on diff servers are each of their own. So you can go back and forth without fear

Hmm that’s weird you should automatically have the island manager system quest appear and then buy it. Maybe contact the support team, it could be the system you are on that has a bug

There's no mission! Like I said... It's as if I completed the mission, since it's not available. However, I don't have access to the Island. When chatting with Atara, no purchase options appear, only the chat function.

Yep u don't need to make an acc we just trying to see if it refresh ur server list connection to ur acc, once it starts the cutscenes u can just log back out then try in ur og server

if anyone knows anything about glitch building PLEASE help!! it worked for me before and i made this beautiful kitchen, so i then go to blueprint mode and build half a house. i go to save that and get a message “edit under review- violation may result in account suspension” and EVERYTHING in my blueprint fell to the floor-? now i cant even do the glitches in regular build mode, but my kitchens still there??? genuinely so confused and sad-

hi everyone!! i was editing a blueprint and deleted my planters from where they were placed to move them elsewhere and now suddenly they aren't in my furniture or my building materials. i even checked blanc's shop to see if i for some reason needed to buy them all again, but they are all still sold out. i'm not sure how to get them back. has this happened to anyone else?
I've gotten myself incredibly frustrated with trying to put a roof on my house. I paid for more walls, placed my flooring, and then trying to stick the roof on.... my roof wants to either sit on the ground, way up in the air, or anything else aside from on top of the walls 😓 I don't know what to do.
you have to add a ceiling (just put flooring on the top of the walls)

usually if you place it out of bounds there’s a message at the top that says like “this can only be placed on flooring/ground/etc” but hopefully it works for u :)

#technical-help I'm having problems with the gacha; I keep getting duplicate items. Two gacha sessions just gave me the same item twice in a row. An item I'd already gotten twice before, with this last one it's a total of 4 times I've gotten the same item, and it's very unfair.
I just finished the bird watching event and before I could claim my rewards it closed the event while I had my scanner open 🥹
Try going back to the concert when it opens up tn, go to the “stage” and it might prompt you another quest to do.
it has 18 minutes left till it closes for me, and ive tried going in and out and its my second day of trying

are you attending it when the npcs go on stage maybe it requires that part
I'm having the same issue. I attended to the whole show and did all the sub-quest(doing emote), even spoke with all npcs
I was told by others from yt and reddit, they patched that “glitch and other ones” I’ve built for hours to do that process (glitch) and when I saved throughout my process and came back to the blueprint. Everything was not where it was “suppose” to be. So I hope they do “fix” this so they could let the community do it without glitching or let the glitch happen again.
i guess a lot of things broke lately after the last update because i noticed some furniture items becoming invisible or pictures from my pets being bugged etc
Omg what....😭😭😭 i gave a item to my friend with the winter shop thingy and i changed my outfit while i was doing this and now im stuck like this it won't even leave if i change tools, go to sleep, or just get in a car. Im doomed until i rejoin.
Depending on the item you are gachaing, there is a button to check the probability of the items you get, it also states duplications may happen, which is a DISADVANTAGE for a lot of us, the only one that guarantees you without a duplication is MLP(my little pony), there is a lot of hate they are getting bc of the duplications. But they also let you “exchange” to get the items you want if you spend enough money, which is also a HUGE downside. I hope this helps you. Sometimes it’s not worth it to spend real money unless you have the funds to support yourself financially.

Try switching towns or going into build mode a few times, there’s probably an invisible cat on your head
Once you place and complete an order, it uses up the ticket, you don’t get it back
If you know you have a ticket available from a gacha capsule or quest reward, check your mailbox and warehouse
I've tried all that. Even repaired. The "set down pet" icon usually pops up if there's the invisible cat at least so I can tell if that's the case.

the order isnt complete the ticket book is jsut gone so i cant get more stamps
If you have an active order in the machine, you need to cancel it to get the ticket back in order to get it stamped. Canceling the order will pause the timer for the order

Help! My character is walking on their own without my input / I can’t move after pulling out a tool / my tools are aiming themselves on PC!
Please check for any controllers plugged in to your PC, and unplug them if there are. This can include Bluetooth devices like headsets, or any Logitech devices, or (sometimes) keyboards. They need to be fully disconnected, not just turned off. Then restart the game.
If it turns out to be your keyboard, it may be due to conflicts with default keyboard drivers being mis-detected as controllers, which the game doesn't support. You can temporarily fix this by:
- Open Device Manager on your PC
- Expand the Human Interface Devices section
- Right-click and Disable the following 2 devices:
HID-compliant consumer control device
HID-compliant game controller
This should temporarily resolve the issue

Double check that you’re using the correct log in and server! You can check the server list by going to the globe icon and seeing if any other server has an account active.
If you have multiple emails you might have used, try logging in with all of them to see if any have an account attached
Theres a couple of different reasons this could be happening right now, here’s the temporary fix for one of them:
Help! I can't log in / I'm getting a timeout error / It's stuck at loading / I suddenly have high ping / etc
The game's optimization isn't great, so even if you have good network connection, the game sometimes has trouble finding it, which can cause these sorts of errors. You can try:
- Restarting your router
- Manually forgetting your WiFi and manually reconnecting to it
- Going on Airplane mode, waiting a few seconds, then turning it back off
A lot of people were successful with using a different type of Internet connection just for log-in purposes, eg:
- a different WiFi
- 5G, LTE
- Cellphone data / hotspot
- VPN (Proton VPN is used by a lot of players here)
- DNS (Warp 1.1.1.1 is recommended by one of the helpers here)
once you get into the game, you can switch back to your normal internet connection
If you're playing on PC, try updating your graphics card.

If you joined with your steam account, you should be able to rejoin with the same steam account, so if multiple people play using steam on your device, make sure you’re logged into the right account on steam also

The game might be detecting a different login through steam than what you were using before, do you have access to your old device? If you do, you can try linking it to a different account, and then try logging in through that on the new one
Having a issue while at the fashion wave event where the one challenge to use a coffee umbrella isnt working at all. I've done it a few times and it wont check off.
I’ve seen people discussing it in #gameplay-help as well, is the umbrella quest not working or the part about attending the concert? For the concert, i think you have to attend until the NPCs play music on stage
if you havent already, could try to click repair at the start screen. Might need to contact support though, because many people have had trouble clearing the quest

I am not very wise and don't know how to resolve an issue my friend is having. He just started today and every time he pulls out his fishing rod it causes his character to get stuck in place unable to move. I had him use the repair button and switched towns. Neither is resolving his issue.

There is nothing released on steam yeah, lol I closed and re-opened completely as well to make sure I was not crazy. The last Heartopia update was this (technically yesterday) morning at 9AM for me haha and even after closing the game and re-opening it several times since the announcement, it is not fixed in-game for me! Even my Project Zomboid just automatically queued and downloaded mod updates, so I am just going to assume they have not pushed it out yet specifically to steam users.

For those having issues with not being able to interact with pets:
The growth/proficiency prompt sometimes has an error so the ability to interact with you pet disappears. Do Watch, Settings, Return to login, join new town via windmill. Entering and exiting build mode or blueprint mode occasionally works too
These are temporary fixes until the devs patch the issue

On February 9th, I topped up 680 heart diamonds for IDR 185,516 via Steam with a Mastercard payment. It turned out the diamonds were not received (pending). I then contacted my bank to check. Shortly after, the transaction was successful. However, a month later, I received the following notification on my Steam account. I don't know why the heart diamonds in my account were minus 1370 even though the pending transaction was only worth 680 heart diamonds. I have also followed up with my bank because until now there has been no refund. My balance is still being deducted, so I thought there was no problem until this happened. Is there a solution to this problem?

Hello! I’m not sure if this has already been reported or if there’s a fix available yet, but I’ve been experiencing an issue where the game flickers whenever I alt tab to a different monitor. I tested a few other games and they don’t seem to have this problem, so it appears to be specific to Heartopia.
I also tried turning VSync on and off, but that didn’t resolve it. The only workaround I’ve found so far is running the game in windowed mode, which stops the flickering.
This just started happening after that random update that happened a few days ago. I play it on the Taptap launcher.

Help! I can't log in / I'm getting a timeout error / It's stuck at loading / I suddenly have high ping / etc
The game's optimization isn't great, so even if you have good network connection, the game sometimes has trouble finding it, which can cause these sorts of errors. You can try:
- Restarting your router
- Manually forgetting your WiFi and manually reconnecting to it
- Going on Airplane mode, waiting a few seconds, then turning it back off
A lot of people were successful with using a different type of Internet connection just for log-in purposes, eg:
- a different WiFi
- 5G, LTE
- Cellphone data / hotspot
- VPN (Proton VPN is used by a lot of players here)
- DNS (Warp 1.1.1.1 is recommended by one of the helpers here)
once you get into the game, you can switch back to your normal internet connection
If you're playing on PC, try updating your graphics card.

Is there anyone else here experiencing difficulty loading the game? Been playing since release til earlier this evening. Upon checking back, there's an update. After updating, I wasn't able to go back to the game. The start button isn't appearing. Tried basic troubleshooting (reload game, clear cache/data, turn off/on wifi, reboot device, and re-download the game) and still got the same results. Nothing's wrong with my internet since my other apps and devices run smoothly despite requiring a strong and fast internet connection. Hello, just seeking help if I think I have lost items after a blue print remodel of my house? I have checked my backpack, warehouse, etc. many times and could have sworn had a pink espresso machine that now seems missing.
and it shows in your collections as unlocked?
Its even showing up in my old blueprint the item but not my inventory.
Luckily I saved my old house blueprint before adding my new one.

could try putting down an empty blueprint to force all items into your backpack/warehouse/mailbox, i've helped a few people who couldn't find a specific item after changing their house, and redoing the blueprint seemed to help them find it again

unfortunately i think i saw in #gameplay-help that the mecha penguin was only available for a certain time, could ask there for confirmation since i think someone there asked support about it. it was tied to a specific cutscene during one of the transitions from week 5 to 6 i think?

Help! My character is walking on their own without my input / I can’t move after pulling out a tool / my tools are aiming themselves on PC!
Please check for any controllers plugged in to your PC, and unplug them if there are. This can include Bluetooth devices like headsets, or any Logitech devices, or (sometimes) keyboards. They need to be fully disconnected, not just turned off. Then restart the game.
If it turns out to be your keyboard, it may be due to conflicts with default keyboard drivers being mis-detected as controllers, which the game doesn't support. You can temporarily fix this by:
- Open Device Manager on your PC
- Expand the Human Interface Devices section
- Right-click and Disable the following 2 devices:
HID-compliant consumer control device
HID-compliant game controller
This should temporarily resolve the issue

Anyways I was playing heartopia on the computer but switched to phone without logging off or exiting the game, but my character was sleeping when i switched from comp to mobile.
I had a very strange login, it goes quickly up until 99% and then it kinda gets stuck for a long time, and then logs in, but with a messed up view. like the screenshot. Everything is blinking on and off and you cannot move.
I tried logging back into comp, but it is still messed up. I can't get out of bed lol.

it's really hard to get cats to go on walks, they don't really like to unfortunately. some people pet/feed/wash them to max and then spam the go out button, but it's not guaranteed to work. some cat personalities will refuse to go out completely too 😔

check to make sure you're taking a picture of the correct egg (check the name of the egg if you're using a guide), some egg colors look Really similar to each other so it's easy to mix them up. also check to make sure you're using the camera app and not the birdwatching lens

the egg you're missing is the rosy egg, not the purple one. the purple egg is the one next to it that looks more indigo-colored

I just threw like 10 fish bait in one specific spot and I was fishing them all at once since I didn't wanna go back and forth with the fish bait and my game crashed unexpectedly while I was fishing the third fish. And when I'm back on the same spot all the stupid bait and fish are gone 🥀 what can I do to make this stop happening? It keep crashing at random and I've been so careful with what I do because of that. But I didn't have problem wit this fishing method before because my boyfriend threw the same amount of bait and I fished everything without a struggle at all

are you able to adjust your fishing rod to throw it further to match the mermaid tail? once you set it into the right spot, it should auto-throw to that spot every time after

it’s probably because his google is logged in on the computer, so it’s defaulting to that account address. Try completely logging out of his google account and logging in with yours on the browser

There's a maximum amount of people that can be in a forum thread at any one time - this is a Discord limitation, unfortunately. This means that anyone already in the thread can message in it without issue, but new people can't join in. The mods create new threads whenever one fills up, so check the title of the thread you're trying to join, and look for similar titles but with numbers (eg 2, 3, etc). The one with the biggest number is the newest thread, and is most likely still open for people to join. You can't create your own thread, need to use the pre-made ones

Go to solo mode build and complete. They will be outside and can interact again.

Check your inv, warehouse or mail. Sometimes when your inv is full, game either put it in your warehouse or mail

hmmm. i'm not super well-versed in the backend of tech, but it sounds like there might be some code in the background that isn't being cleaned up or isn't ended properly, causing the crash. there've been a few people in here saying heartopia is regularly crashing lately, but so far there doesn't seem to be any single reason it is, so we haven't been able to find any temporary fixes for it yet. definitely recommend documenting and sending it to their customer service so that they can look into it
I downloaded iOS version 18.7.5. It was initially listed as a beta after the download, but it's no longer marked as such. I restarted the game and haven't had any further crashes so far, but I've only been playing for 15 minutes. It's still lagging, but not as much as before. if you look at the soil in the planter, is it a dark brown? if so, it means it's already wet, so if you try to water it again, the game won't register it as being watered by you
if you're trying to clear the quest, you can go water someone else's planters, since doing so can give them a bonus that stacks up to four times

gotta just try everything
- putting your stoves in a different part of your house they don't normally go to
- feeding them/play/pet/clean them to full so they don't bother you as much
- putting your stoves on the second floor of your house
- putting your stoves on a table so that they're elevated off the ground (pets can walk through furniture, this is intended)
- building a fence around your stoves
As a last resort, you can find someone who has stoves set out at their plot and use their’s instead
