Hey so- my partner was playing on her pc and when she tried to close it- it wouldn’t close until she deleted the game. Has anyone else had this problem?? How can we fix it if so TwT

I cant get to that screen because I cant update the game without downloading a file my AV has deemed as high risk. I'm not risking downloading something that has been flagged as a trojan file without any assurance that it's not
check your settings depending on the platform. if its Taptap theres a setting that lets tap tap stay open and just go into your system tray, with steam it might not do that but check settings anyway ^^
You can use the bot @twin yacht to reach a moderator to try and get your message to a staff, but I think they closed modmail temporarily during the cooldowns earlier, idk if they turned it back on yet
they gave me steps on how to download the file around my AV but no assurance that it's actually safe to do so and I havent had any further updates in the past 10 hrs
Have you tried doing a full reinstall? Or rebooting your device?
yep ive done all the basics, even deleted left over files, tried steam as well while it doesnt error when I download with steam the end result is the same (yes I had it downloaded on different drives to test)
tap tap is the one giving me the error but both platforms do the same thing so im unsure ive done everything I could think of

Oh do you have both taptap and the steam version downloaded at the same time? I saw someone say you need to delete one because having both causes an issue after the recent update
Unfortunately if you’re looking for an official statement, those were the only two official channels to reach the staff. You could try to contact them on their social media pages but I don’t know whether they respond to things there
no, I was always on tap tap I only downloaded steam afterwards to check, again both were installed on different harddrives, I used Revo to clean up and delete any files left over when I unistalled both. I'm trying to trouble shoot today with just tap tap. Only reason I did that I thought maybe it was the tap tap launcher but I have the same issue in both (I hope im making any sense lol)
I had an easel on my housing plot. I ran into a glitch which froze the visuals on my game so I had to restart. Joined a new town and now the easel is gone and it's not in my inventory....

The original error message does say a file rewrite was denied, so I would double check whether the game has the right permissions.
can u check if ur firewall preventing a file from heartopia i think u have to exclude that so it doesnt get delete

I’m not sure what you did last time unfortunately
You can place an easel down temporarily by throwing it, or permanently by placing it in build mode. Once you’re out of build mode, you can paint on it
Try going back to the start screen and click ‘repair’ to see of that puts the easel back in your backpack or warehouse. You can also try setting down an empty blueprint temporarily to force all your things into your inventories, but make sure to save a copy of your current house to a different blueprint so that you don’t lose anything. If you still don’t get the easel back, try placing your house back down and see if the easel shows up
Yes my game has been like this too, I also tried to collect my plants and it just won’t do it.
Tried fishing, I’ll reel it in, won’t say I have anything.
Go to my house, it’s missing then just appears.
Also it won’t download the repair.
which items are you missing specifically? not all items in the set are ones that appear in the inventory

It is an ongoing issue, a lot of us are submitting reports where we can. Some people are saying it's safe, that the file is just something related to game security/licensing, but a lot of us aren't sure and for many of us this is the very first time our antivirus has ever flagged an update on steam. I've seen some say it could be a trojan horse, so it's up to you if you want to take the risk. Though what I've been seeing all day is even if you manage to get the antivirus to let it go through, people are still struggling to even log in and when they do there is bugs everywhere. I did get a reply back from Steam, they did say they are looking into it to make sure nothing malware wise is going on. Just give it time and hopefully we will get answers or a solution soon.

repeated furniture gets converted into dupe tickets. If you view the full list of items you should be able to buy more of the furniture youve unlocked there though

Correct, you only get one furniture, duplicates are converted into tickets instead, which you can use to get more of the same furniture, or different colorations

Hello everyone! So idk if this is happening to anyone else. But for some reason my “hat” keeps disappearing, and no matter what I do it doesn’t come back. As u can see only my fluttershy hair is present but not the wig I’m wearing, despite going into dress up and it does appear. Idk how else to explain it but here’s a video showing it

if there is a paw print on the right it means a cat on your head even if invincible (if head accessories gone)

do u mean your icloud info related to heartopia or icloud in general?

try these:
- restarting your device
- switch to another region and change it back
- log in and out of your apple account
- check your icloud info on a pc that has itunes and restart it from there
if the problem is still there, try looking up something like “how to restore icloud”

Hello, I followed the help for the update problem and excluded the entire Heartopia folder in steam from my antivirus scan and checking, also disabled protection for the updating time. It ended up updating with no problem, but when starting the game the antivirus removed the file anyway and corruptes the game. This is the message:

Followed, but as I said I already excluded the entire folder. It's like the files that my antivirus is removing is not in the folder? I tried to understand the path but I'm not sure where win32/ is

everything worked when turning Antivirus off, the moment I turn it on again and start the game, it immediately removes the same file. Even if the entire folder of the game is excluded. The game then is stuck in loading and steam says it has missing files, so it NEEDS that file, even after the update.
I'm trying to find more info about this "Win32/Packed.VMProtect.ACI" that the game needs and my antivirus keeps deleting

Also, from the screenshot you can see that I excluded both the folder and the specific file from any check, I'm not sure why it still delete it

I got the solution for whoever wants it.
The file found when download and when opening the game was probably in 2 different folder. Mine was in this one (I excluded the path and managed to complete the update and open the game):
Steam\steamapps\downloading\4025700\xdt_Data\Plugins\x86_64\themis_x64.dll

The issue most commonly attached to this is / are controllers which are plugged in or trying to connect via Bluetooth.

This is a bug that needs to be reported to Customer Support in-game.

Open your watch
and go to Settings
.
Near your account ID press on a button that says account management.
Press on Support Center and then press on
.

To view your open and resolved ticket history and replies.
In the mean time, you can go to the login screen and repair your game files. There is a button with a wrench on it called Repairs

I doubt any moderator has addressed the situation. Your options would be to either adjust your firewall settings or download the game on another device that won’t experience this error / false flag.

Please keep in mind Steam is experiencing the most bugs, even though it should technically be the same as TapTap ( Windows launcher ). For some reason players are seeing bugs on Steam which they don’t see on TapTap.
The game runs the best on mobile phones. There are the least errors there.
Did someone had the same issue? I adopted a kitten and fed him before the quest, and now he doesn't lose his hunger. And, of course, I can't do the quest anymore...
Yes, I also did this same mistake during the beta tests. What you need to do now is simply wait for its hunger to go down. This will typically take a few hours, so before this day ends you will be able to complete this quest.

Heyy.. I planted grapes last night and used fertiliser on them.. the materials have been taken from my bag ie grape seeds.. weed.. wood etc. Yet I woke this morning and my plots are empty? There's nothing in my bag either?

The reason why your Settings looks like this is because you are not logged into a character. Please go into the game, enter a character file and then go to your Settings ⚙️ . Near your account ID there will be a button that says account management. Press on that and you will see delete account.

Binding accounts means having multiple ways to log into the same account using different login methods ( Apple, Facebook, Google, Steam ). So the more accounts that are binded to your Heartopia account, then more ways you have to access it.
Essentially, binding accounts to your Heartopia account does not cause you to lose your progress. Data syncing across all platforms ( iOS, Android, Steam and TapTap Windows ) is enabled so you will be able to use all of those different login methods ( as long as it’s binded ) to access your account on any platform.
uhm even a mod cant help about financial issue only customer support but u can try asking ur bank again if it really pass through in the game system or is it pending in their side
Honestly, the moderators don’t even really help in this channel. You would be lucky to even get a reply from them.
The only team that can help you would be Customer Support in-game. Did you go back to your ticket to see if they responded yet ?
Something that a lot of players don’t know is that when you’re making payments on the official website of Heartopia ( http://webpay.xd.com/heartopia?lang=en_US ) you must select the right server and character name. If you don’t, the payment still goes through but goes into the wrong place.
You changed the server and character name here right ? In my screenshot, it says Global and my account is actually on the America server. So if I don’t change it, I will still get charged but it will go to a different account on Global instead of my account on America.

That’s not the normal speed for that car, no. It’s most likely a hack, mod or exploit of some sort which is a bannable offence. Essentially what you would want to do is grab the UID by opening up your mini-map and finding the player and then reporting them in-game.
You can still report it, although I’m not sure if Customer Support has a way to track this player by themselves.

As everyone said once and again. I cannot interact with my cats/dogs sometimes. I've been having this problem with at least one pet every day (i have 3 cats and 2 dogs) and I've been playing for over a month.
But the third and last cat i adopted is the one having this problem the most (like 5 out of 7 days of the week). I am starting to think it could be the accesory that "triggers" this bug (I didn't test it tho) cause it's the only difference with the rest of the pets, who might bug if I'm close to the oven/door, but minutes later i am able to interact again.
It's being annoying just cause it's this cat all the time, and i cannot level up the bond.

The latest patch update contain themis_x64.dll file which was flagged by many antivirus software and auto-delete / quarantine it , you need to disable or exclude the file from antivirus in order to play the game
when i feed the animals i lose the sound for the game. When i open my inventory i get the sound back.

- From the start screen, Settings (the gear icon in the top right) >> Support Center >> Contact Customer Service.
- From in-game, Settings >> Account Management >> Support Center >> Contact Customer Service
To check your tickets for their reply, go to the Support Center, click the blue-green circle with the headset icon, and a popup should appear with the option to view your current and inactive tickets. Check back on your tickets from time to time, as you won't otherwise receive a notification when they reply.
I don’t know if there’s an option to withdraw a ticket, but I think you can mention to them that your friend ultimately received the membership, and they can close the ticket from their side

There’s a couple reasons this could be happening, I’m going to send the most common one first:
Help! I can't log in / I'm getting a timeout error / It's stuck at loading / I suddenly have high ping / etc
The game's optimization isn't great, so even if you have good network connection, the game sometimes has trouble finding it, which can cause these sorts of errors. You can try:
- Restarting your router
- Manually forgetting your WiFi and manually reconnecting to it
- Going on Airplane mode, waiting a few seconds, then turning it back off
A lot of people were successful with using a different type of Internet connection just for log-in purposes, eg:
- a different WiFi
- 5G, LTE
- Cellphone data / hotspot
- VPN (Proton VPN is used by a lot of players here)
- DNS (Warp 1.1.1.1 is recommended by one of the helpers here)
once you get into the game, you can switch back to your normal internet connection
If you're playing on PC, try updating your graphics card.

Blueprints do not hold actual items, it’s just a planned layout. The only places you’ll be able to find an item is placed down on your plot, in your backpack, in your warehouse, or in the mailbox. If you’re having trouble finding an item that you know for sure you have, try saving your current layout as a blueprint, then place an empty blueprint down to force all of your furniture into your bag/warehouse/mailbox.
If you still can’t find it, but you know it was placed down in your house, you can place down your original layout again and see if it reappears.
Side note, there are some items that are currently glitched and appear invisible when placed down, but are still physically in the game, like the phonographs
If you know specifically what you’re looking for, we can help you figure out where it’s normally supposed to be

If u go in build mode and come back out itll reset ur pets and ull be able to interact again. Its not a perm fix but it works till they fix it

midi keyboards and other outside devices aren't supported in the game, can only use the key shortcuts in-game
IIRC someone said they sometimes had to press a different key (escape? f?) to 'unlock' the jump button before using it
I've met someone who does use midi keyboards and it works but she's a bit busy right now
if you apply the other blueprint and can't find it in your inventory anymore, it's probably already placed down somewhere in the house (got used when you applied the blueprint)
you may need to carefully go through the house to see if you placed it down somewhere more hidden

Help! My character is walking on their own without my input / I can’t move after pulling out a tool / my tools are aiming themselves on PC!
Please check for any controllers plugged in to your PC, and unplug them if there are. This can include Bluetooth devices like headsets, or any Logitech devices, or (sometimes) keyboards. They need to be fully disconnected, not just turned off. Then restart the game.
If it turns out to be your keyboard, it may be due to conflicts with default keyboard drivers being mis-detected as controllers, which the game doesn't support. You can temporarily fix this by:
- Open Device Manager on your PC
- Expand the Human Interface Devices section
- Right-click and Disable the following 2 devices:
HID-compliant consumer control device
HID-compliant game controller
This should temporarily resolve the issue
unfortunately using a thirdparty keyboard isn't supported by the devs, so you'll need to ask the other person how they got it to work

I figured out how to get it, I applied the blueprint but instead of applying it with the furniture placed, I unchecked those marks for furniture (and furniture dye just in case) and when I went to apply the blueprint, it was in my inventory/warehouse afterwards. Apparently you can also do the uncheck thing with building materials and potted plants for the blueprint. So I have to replace all my furniture but I don't have to rebuild my whole house!

Someone else might have already taken the picture, only one person can take a picture of the bird perch when there's a bird on it, so if person A takes the picture, person B can't anymore. It's not limited to the person who placed the perch, so a lot of people tend to hide their perches for this reason

The game's optimization isn't great, so even if you have good network connection, the game sometimes has trouble finding it, which can cause these sorts of errors. You can try:
- Restarting your router
- Manually forgetting your WiFi and manually reconnecting to it
- Going on Airplane mode, waiting a few seconds, then turning it back off
A lot of people were successful with using a different type of Internet connection just for log-in purposes, eg:
- a different WiFi
- 5G, LTE
- Cellphone data / hotspot
- VPN (Proton VPN is used by a lot of players here)
- DNS (Warp 1.1.1.1 is recommended by one of the helpers here)
once you get into the game, you can switch back to your normal internet connection
If you're playing on PC, try updating your graphics card.

It's the concern that instead of asking us if we trust the file, which my antivirus usually does, or even quarantining it, the antivirus is straight up saying it's bad and deleting it, which even my husband who I discussed the issue with said it's not worth risking it till we have further information. Steam did say they are looking into it to make 100% sure it is not malware, so if you don't want to risk it, don't, just be patient and wait till we get more answers or till we get an update to fix the issue. I understand the frustration though, many of us haven't been able to finish the winterfest event, and it's getting ready to end and we don't want to miss out.

once you log in, you should be able to switch back to your regular network (eg wifi) without issue. if you get the same error you can use the dns again to log in

unfortunately the staff don't process transfer requests, so your only option is to initiate a refund for the one you bought, and then make sure to repurchase onto the correct server. when you do a refund, it will deduct any gems/benefits related to the purchase from the server it was bought from, which can potentially put you into negative red hearts if you already used some of the hearts - this will lead to things like being muted in that server, not being able to plant crops, etc, but it shouldn't affect any other accounts you play on

It’s a setting different for everyone, I’ve been using the season event shortcuts for fishing and bug catching to teleport around. That should get you unstuck.

After you claim it from your mailbox, go to your inventory and search for the item gifted (not the gift box,it will be empty in your inventory, this is expected). If they bought you a pass, you need to manually activate the voucher from your backpack or warehouse, wherever the voucher is

Pets are all very unique, so tips that work for some people don't work for everyone. My pets never get in the way of my stoves, for example. If you have a clingy pet, they will more naturally follow you around regardless, and try to get your attention by moving in front of you. Can try:
- putting your stoves in a different part of your house they don't normally go to
- feeding them/play/pet/clean them to full so they don't bother you as much
- putting your stoves on the second floor of your house
- putting your stoves on a table so that they're elevated off the ground (pets can walk through furniture, this is intended)
- building a fence around your stoves
As a last resort, you can find someone who has stoves set out at their plot and use their’s instead
If you accidentally deleted a house layout or overrode your house with a different blueprint, there’s no way to revert it yeah, unless you had the layout saved as a separate blueprint

If you’re stuck somewhere, you can try:
- go to the watch >> settings >> reset position
- go to your friends list and teleport to someone else’s town
- go to the start screen, click the windmill icon, and select a new town (friend’s or otherwise) (if you click the same friend’s town, it may drop you into the same spot you left from)
- (temporary solution) use the frostwave banner to teleport to an event area (fishing, etc)

They unlocked it then locked me in a different room but the teloport thankfully got me out.
I would personally suggest to not touch the hearts and wait a week or so to make sure, because the game sometimes belatedly detects refunds, and sometimes cards will belatedly process a charge. From the card side, you can look to see if there are any charges being processed
You can also contact the support team for their opinion, I’m not sure what they would advise here haha

Unfortunately that’s the consequence of being at negative hearts. If you hadn’t requested the refund, you could have shown proof to the support center that you didn’t receive the hearts. The only answer they’re going to give you now is that to reverse the ban/other consequences, you need to buy back the amount of hearts until you’re at a positive gem count again
Switch towns and book it to the bridge, the animation glitched haha. Switching towns should reset the animation and let you catch it

Pets are all very unique, so tips that work for some people don't work for everyone. My pets never get in the way of my stoves, for example. If you have a clingy pet, they will more naturally follow you around regardless, and try to get your attention by moving in front of you. Can try:
- putting your stoves in a different part of your house they don't normally go to
- feeding them/play/pet/clean them to full so they don't bother you as much
- putting your stoves on the second floor of your house
- putting your stoves on a table so that they're elevated off the ground (pets can walk through furniture, this is intended)
- building a fence around your stoves
As a last resort, you can find someone who has stoves set out at their plot and use their’s instead
If you use a VPN, one player said they were able to cook with lag when they switched their location

The cat kept on bugging. Either the hunger doesn't deplete over time or the actions he learned don't count on the collections somehow. The dog doesn't have the same issue though so it's confusing.

Cats naturally lose hunger very slowly. I usually only have to feed my cats to full maybe once a day at most
The collections only count the actions when you get the photo of them doing the action, which the cat will randomly gift to you, not when they’ve learned them. This applies to dogs as well
Oh.. how about the action command? My cat learned the seeker action or something but the only available interaction is pet. Is that how it is too?

The cat will sometimes have a little 🎁 icon above their head instead of the normal feed/action icons. When this happens, it will randomly give you a gift, which is sometimes a photo of itself doing one of the actions you taught it to do via playing

Trust whatever it says in the game itself. If you and your gf are playing on the same server, it should be the same time for you
If you’re both in different timezones, it might be adjusted for your timezone, but ultimately trust what the game says over a website

pets go where they want to, each pet is unique so there's no way to force them to stay in one place or another
well i mean i have 2 cats and 2 dogs they have never been inside my house all 4 just say in front outside - and this only started after building a new house. They use to come inside all the time

ah, if it is a cat, that's expected. cats dont like going outside, even if all the conditions are met. the community suspects that some personalities will refuse to go outside completely, so it may be impossible to board them.
someone mentioned that they fed/pet/washed their pet to full, and then spammed the go out button, and that worked on one of their cats, but it's not guaranteed. currently, clingy pets have been jumping onto peoples heads without warning, so if your cat is a clingy cat, you might be able to trick it onto your head

i think i remember someone mentioning they had trouble with the jump key, i can't remember whether they had to press escape or f to 'unlock' the jump key sometimes, but you can try that next time you get stuck
what are you having trouble with exactly? the only thing it shows in the video is your binded accounts and something being clicked on

the most common reason this happens is that you have an antivirus installed that is removing a necessary file from the download, which is causing the crash

The plants you build are different from the flowers you grow as crops. The purple ones are for decoration, so they have smaller hitboxes so that you can 'stack' them. The bright flowers you were trying to stack are ones you grow, you can't 'stack' them like the other ones

iirc someone said it's in the folder location that your pc/laptop sets as default for downloads (possibly on the c drive?). if you moved/deleted the folder, then the game is sending your photos into the void because it can't find the folder anymore

Pets are kinda annoying. Whenever I'm trying to do something, they follow me out of nowhere. The result is they block my path and I'm unable to click the dish so it got burned.. I don't know if this is a bug. I hope devs fix this in the future update.

Hi i have some glitches in my game idk if its just me or others too, but when i'm holding my fishing rod it stays stuck. Like if i was aiming on fishes but i dont press any button. And same with my insect net, it is aiming in a single direction and it lock my camera so i cant hunt insect, neither fishes

Has anyone experienced when building in blueprints you can’t leave? Like trying to press the complete button nothing happens. It’s happened to me three times since the update the other day that I’ve had to completely exit the game. Every other time there’s been a delay but would always let me complete it and leave. have you tried play with your cat first?
I pet the cat, cleaned it, and I'm able to feed it normal foods, just not the jerky.

I tried to recharge and buy red diamonds, but the game showed an "anomaly" error and I did not receive the diamonds. However, the payment was still taken from my account.
I already contacted support about this issue but I did not receive any response and the diamonds were never added to my account.
Today, the same problem happened again. I made another purchase, got the same error message, the money was taken again, but I still did not receive the diamonds.
Could you please check my account and either add the missing diamonds or refund the payments?

about player have lagging experience after update , does this relate with recent update contain coinminer script ? that make processor have unexpected workload , causing lagging in game experience.
my game says it couldnt connect to the list of servers and to check my internet but the internet is good. I tried it on my phone and the same error appears
