Is anyone else having issues getting the Ode To New spring emotes?? When I click on it an empty menu comes up?
saw someone else with the same issue, but i don’t think we found the reason for why it isnt showing. Try repair on the start screen? Could also try switching towns to see if it’s just a visual glitch.
Oh I just logged in to see if the timer ended bc its for new years, which already passed, and now I can’t see it either LMAO.
Will update if i manage to get it back in my game, but it was working up until yesterday for me so I think the timer might have ended

SOOOOOO SICK OF THESE BUGS NOT GETTING FIXED! This dang cats been broken for MONTHS, I cant interact with it to move it, nor level it up to board it to get rid of it. Its constantly walking back and forth (literally backwards) while Im cooking and blocking my path. This is actual BS. I just lost a bunch of pineapple I now have to regrow. I've reported it multiple times to no avail. Maybe its just lost in translation or they just care more about pumping out overpriced gacha's but I'm losing interest fast. Games are supposed to be relaxing, not irritating beyond belief.

It has glitched on an action, as a temporary fix you can:
- go into build mode for a few seconds, move a piece of furniture, then save and exit, or
- switch to a new town to reset both of your positions back to the front of your house
either of these should clear the glitched action and let it be interactable again
And here’s some community suggestions for pets getting in the way of cooking:
Help! My pets keep walking in the way of my stove, I'm burning all my food!
Pets are all very unique, so tips that work for some people don't work for everyone. My pets never get in the way of my stoves, for example. If you have a clingy pet, they will more naturally follow you around regardless, and try to get your attention by moving in front of you. Can try:
- putting your stoves in a different part of your house they don't normally go to
- feeding them/play/pet them to full so they don't bother you as much
- putting your stoves on the second floor of your house
- putting your stoves on a table so that they're elevated off the ground (pets can walk through furniture, this is intended)
- building a fence around your stoves
As a last resort, you can find someone who has stoves set out at their plot and use their’s instead
It’s a visual glitch, switching towns usually fixes it
The winter snowscape set collection reward is bugged, devs are aware and it will be fixed eventually
The set has 21 items but the star wants 22 before it can be claimed. All we can do is wait for it to be fixed

Can you ask her to check her in-game mailbox for any letters regarding any violations?
If she requested a refund on any purchases, most likely her red heart balance went into negatives if she used any of the gems prior to the refund — as a consequence of being in a negative red heart balance, accounts are muted and they can’t do many activities like gardening/etc. If this is the case for her, she will need to buy enough red hearts to go back into a positive balance
If she thinks a mistake was made, she can reach out to the game’s support center for billing issues

p is your ping and in summary, it signifies your connection to the servers. if it's 0, it most likely isn't connecting at all ><
i ran into a similar issue last night and ended up deleting cache, resetting my internet connection, then reinstalling when the previous two didn't work ( thankfully it's not so big of a game to reinstall ) and it worked within the next 30 mins !

is anyone else having this problem on pc whenever I launch into an island my character just starts running and i cant stop it without unplugging and plugging back in my keyboard multiple times

Help! My character is walking on their own without my input / I can’t move after pulling out a tool / my tools are aiming themselves on PC!
Please check for any controllers plugged in to your PC, and unplug them if there are. This can include Bluetooth devices like headsets, or any Logitech devices, or (sometimes) keyboards. They need to be fully disconnected, not just turned off. Then restart the game.
If it turns out to be your keyboard, it may be due to conflicts with default keyboard drivers being mis-detected as controllers, which the game doesn't support. You can temporarily fix this by:
- Open Device Manager on your PC
- Expand the Human Interface Devices section
- Right-click and Disable the following 2 devices:
HID-compliant consumer control device
HID-compliant game controller
This should temporarily resolve the issue

Correct yes! The watch shows your local time, while the popup tells you the server time. It’s a but hidden so many people get confused haha. Glad you figured it out!
Anyone else getting this glitch that doesn’t show badges I have?
The display is a bit finicky, try switching towns to force it to reload. If you have badges set out in your house, the display sometimes doesnt detect them unless theyre in your bag or warehouse

At first i though it was just the snow, so i waited until it wasn't snowing anymore, and then I planted another batch outside when it was sunny, it didn't work again

yeah some also have dupe on that u can ask in the one i sent~
so when there is a snow weather it auto watered every crops and flwoers but for quest u can water someone else instead cause there is this system where u can help players water their flowers and crops, even if snow is done u still opened the game when there is snow

If you look at your planters, do you see the color of the soil? If it’s dark brown, it means its already wet and you can’t water it again for any more benefits — but luckily, if other people water for you, you get a bonus that stacks up to four times. So you can still pass the quest without waiting for your planters to dry by finding a neighbor and watering their planters

says event is ending 4 days from now but why are the emotes on the store gone already? there was 0 notice about it being removed in advance 
To pass the quest, you just need to go water someone else’s planters! Since the quest is tied to the action of you doing the watering
Could be a bug, a couple of people have sent in bug reports to see what the game says

HAHA yeah it takes a while, we (as players) are still figuring out the fav food rules too. Theres a few threads in #1435807505304518686 if you want to keep up with findings / see some suggestions for things. And TBH try feeding them the plain cat food / universal food at least once, who knows LMAO

its an ongoing bug! don't worry, it had been reported yet and you're not alone on that 
thought there are sadly no current fixes known. the only way of dealing with it is just waiting for the next patch hoping that they'll take care of it

Help! I can't log in / I'm getting a timeout error / It's stuck at loading / I suddenly have high ping / etc
The game's optimization isn't great, so even if you have good network connection, the game sometimes has trouble finding it, which can cause these sorts of errors. You can try:
- Restarting your router
- Manually forgetting your WiFi and manually reconnecting to it
- Going on Airplane mode, waiting a few seconds, then turning it back off
A lot of people were successful with using a different type of Internet connection just for log-in purposes, eg:
- a different WiFi
- 5G, LTE
- Cellphone data / hotspot
- VPN (Proton VPN is used by a lot of players here)
- DNS (Warp 1.1.1.1 is recommended by one of the helpers here)
once you get into the game, you can switch back to your normal internet connection
If you're playing on PC, try updating your graphics card.

anybody in your town will work, doesnt have to be direct neighbor
its not a glitch, its because your planters are already wet. you cant water them when theyre already wet (dark brown soil), so you need to find someone else in town and water their planters. This works bc watering for other ppl gives them a bonus thats stackable up to four times for them
check your backpack, mailbox, and warehouse. It should be in one of those 3 places, if you’re sure it’s not in your build right now
you can apply an empty blueprint to clear out everything from your house and put it back to your inventory, this can help items that went invisible, show again

did you or someone with access to your account request a refund through the card?
check your in-game mailbox for any notice from the game, they usually send a letter. Check your card too to make sure a refund wasnt issued

The notification is because of the collection reward being unclaimed, so hopefully thats fixed with the tree. the people here arent devs though so asking us isnt gonna do much

so the maintenance was from 15:00 to 18:00 UTC-5 it means that in poland its around 22:00 to 01:00, its 13:00 now and the game won't load.. only the maintenance info pops up and nothing more after than when i click x to close it it's not my internet connection or smth

Yesterday, I successfully purchased the Gilded Acorn Membership and ₱189.00 was deducted from my GCash account. However, today I received another notification that ₱189.00 was deducted again from my GCash account, even though I did not make another purchase or authorize any additional transaction.
Upon checking my account, there were no changes or upgrades reflected that would justify a second charge.

This happens a lot where no matter how close I get, I can't interact with my cat. It usually happens before I can even feed them, so I'm happy pets can't get taken away for that. But this time I was able to feed my cats, bathe one, and now can't interact to bathe this one.

PLEASE HELP ME, I pulled on a nebula 9 star card but the screen was frozen and started lagging. Next thing I knew I took my saved up 9 stars and didn't give me ANY CARDS.
I'm looking at the history thing and it's treating it as if I didn't make a pull, no history is even there
It's part of the current winter event. You may need to pay for the expansion pass if it's on the bottom half of the rewards section. You just have to log in daily to do the daily and weekly quests to level up in the event

its an ongoing bug! don't worry, it had been reported yet and you're not alone on that

first of all try checking history to see did the pull actually get registered. if you see it in log then try checking in your warehouse and mailbox, it should be in one of these

It might have just been a small glitch to be honest on your fishing trip since it only happened with that fish, id try to continue your fishing and if it occurs again, please open a support ticket

What error are you getting. There’s a very specific message if it’s down for maintenance — all other errors are game errors that usually can be fixed
im not getting an error, the enter game button just isnt popping up, but i am getting the maintenance news

That’s not the maintenance error message — the maintenance message will say something like “the server is down, check the announcement for more information”
Help! I can't log in / I'm getting a timeout error / It's stuck at loading / I suddenly have high ping / etc
The game's optimization isn't great, so even if you have good network connection, the game sometimes has trouble finding it, which can cause these sorts of errors. You can try:
- Restarting your router
- Manually forgetting your WiFi and manually reconnecting to it
- Going on Airplane mode, waiting a few seconds, then turning it back off
A lot of people were successful with using a different type of Internet connection just for log-in purposes, eg:
- a different WiFi
- 5G, LTE
- Cellphone data / hotspot
- VPN (Proton VPN is used by a lot of players here)
- DNS (Warp 1.1.1.1 is recommended by one of the helpers here)
once you get into the game, you can switch back to your normal internet connection
If you're playing on PC, try updating your graphics card.

Some of them are actual pieces of furniture (not recipes), and some of them are building materials (can be found in build mode, in building materials)

The set has 21 items but the star wants 22 before it can be claimed. All we can do is wait for it to be fixed (supposedly during the maintenance later)

Help! My character is walking on their own without my input / I can’t move after pulling out a tool / my tools are aiming themselves on PC!
Please check for any controllers plugged in to your PC, and unplug them if there are. This can include Bluetooth devices like headsets, or any Logitech devices, or (sometimes) keyboards. They need to be fully disconnected, not just turned off. Then restart the game.
If it turns out to be your keyboard, it may be due to conflicts with default keyboard drivers being mis-detected as controllers, which the game doesn't support. You can temporarily fix this by:
- Open Device Manager on your PC
- Expand the Human Interface Devices section
- Right-click and Disable the following 2 devices:
HID-compliant consumer control device
HID-compliant game controller
This should temporarily resolve the issue
Try going back to the start menu and clicking repair

The red warning on the bottom doesnt mean your materials are locked! You can generally ignore the red numbers on this page because it will be automatically be built for you when you apply the build, as long as you have all the materials needed
The mods aren’t the ones answering questions usually, they maintain server order

There's a maximum amount of people that can be in a forum thread at any one time - this is a Discord limitation, unfortunately. This means that anyone already in the thread can message in it without issue, but new people can't join in. The mods create new threads whenever one fills up, so check the title of the thread you're trying to join, and look for similar titles but with numbers (eg 2, 3, etc). The one with the biggest number is the newest thread, and is most likely still open for people to join. You can't create your own thread, need to use the pre-made ones
please note the snow on the ground. when it's snowing/raining, the planters are automatically watered for you (dark brown soil). to get around this, you can try:
- building a roof over your planters so they dry out (light brown soil), or
- watering another player's planters to complete the watering quest. this works because watering someone else's planters gives them a bonus, which is stackable up to 4 times by other players

But I don’t think that that’s fair. The people who were eligible to get on this morning and do everything because maybe they were off or they stay at home or they just have the luxury of being able to get on they get all of the benefits they are so they get their three bouquets and they get to do all of their picking and everything so they got it and then they’re gonna get another one on Sunday. I just don’t believe that that’s fair I believe that those who weren’t able to get two Doris should get all of the sugars that she was selling for free and I feel like we should get our three bouquets for free and if that means that the people who got their three bouquets and everything gets another round of free ones that’s fine but I believe that we should get something else because I’ve been looking forward to this event and unfortunately I was at work so I wasn’t able to get on and I’m not gonna be able to get the golden crab or the shark or all of the things I was planning on doing today with the rainbow now I have to wait till the next rainbow and everyone else gets it twice but I get it once I just don’t believe that that’s fair. That one is regarding something else! That was a fix for a bug back in January
i get your point, but consider that with all these time zones there are always people bothered by that updates and maintenances. We get a new rainbow day in 4 days, we get small gifts to make up for it, ik it sucks if your someone who takes it seriously, but next time its maybe not you and ur timezone that cant join these events, its another one and maybe they're trying to switch between these, maybe they're not. end of story is we cant really do much against it and we can be happy that they planned a new rainbow day on sunday, can we?

I have a reward notice in my collections that I’m unable to claim. It’s for the winter furniture, there are 21 pieces but I need 22 to get the reward. It still says I can claim it though.
Ensure you’re downloading it from the correct place, otherwise it should be fine. The game needs access to things in order to function, which is probably pinging your virus detector. Ultimately up to you whether you want to download or not
You won’t be able to play right now regardless because they’re doing maintenance for another 1.5hrs

I have some questions for the game directed towards staff and development people, and I hope you all can answer honestly and directly. This isn't also meant to direct any hate, I am genuinely confused, and hoping to hear the reasoning behind these choices and wanting this game to improve, or atleast get some answers.
I have a basic understanding of the gachas, and I have to wonder why the chances for anything special are so low.
Its chance regardless of how much you spend, unlike games like Cookie Run Kingdom, for example, where they have a pity system when you try pulling a certain amount of tries, you finally actually get said item you were pulling for.
I also would have much less of an issue with this system, and so would others in our community if you changed it so we could atleast get more chances to pull without spending money.
I am just wondering why this hasnt really been addressed yet, and if you all are going to change this system?
Another huge issue I have had is the AI used in this game. I have a good understanding of it and the harm it does on the world.
I have to ask how exactly are you using ai to generate puzzle pieces? What AI program are you using and just how many images do you take from to make said puzzle pieces? If it is billions like Open AI for example, I have to wonder why you are harming the enviroment so extensively?
Another one, you are well aware of the backlash from using AI in your game, so why are you using AI to make more images now? Have the staff looked into how much AI does to kill the enviroment or are they unaware, and if so why?
And same questions before. How many images are used to generate the ones for the penguin heart fragments, and what AI program is used? I will also mention how harmful it is already to potentially have millions of players in your game generate these pictures just for a video game.
I just have one thing to ask now. —
—Do you all care about the enviroment, or does it not matter? With the pattern it seems like the staff are testing how much they can push AI before players quit the game. Please prove me wrong and please improve. I am severely dissapointed in Heartopia currently, and will not be playing until AI is no longer used at the very least, and I know others will agree with me.

Anyone else experiancing a gardening glitch? Specifically where after watering 8 plants for blanc it stops registering progress after 6 plants watered.
Bought 14 tomatos and it still only says 6/8 watered despite watering all those plants. The planters aren't "dry" and i cannot buy more planters due to them being "sold out" in Blanc's lil shop.

All 8 are wet since starting that quest line. But all 8 were watered with plants in them. Only 6/8 registered to be watered. As in 8 plants were watered but only 6 are registered
Help! The quest won't recognize that I'm watering these planters!
When the planters are already wet (dark brown soil), the game won't recognize if you try to water them again. (When it's snowing/raining, the planters are automatically watered for you!)
To get around this, you can try:
- building a roof over your planters so they dry out (light brown soil), or
- watering another player's planters to complete the watering quest. this works because watering someone else's planters gives them a bonus, which is stackable up to 4 times by other players
Tap tap version neither steam version are working on my PC, it stays in a infinite loading.
I have an issue with the steam version of Heartopia when I hit start it says "Update available. Please restart the game." Then when I hit confirm it closes the game. I tried restarting the game multiple times and restarting steam and my pc but nothing seems to work. (Side note: I can log in on my mobile version.)

if they process a refund, most likely yes. but the support center is pretty stubborn about refunds, i haven't seen them willingly issue refunds from their side for these kinds of cases

why is it downloading so slowly? Its not my internet I have 400/500 download
for some reason heartopia is stuck on 99%. my internet is stable. i stopped and let it update again and again. i closed steam altogether and opened it. i restarted my computer. nothing helped

4. Go to Downloads

6. Select another server like:

frankfurt is going fast im downloading on that right now
happens to people occasionally with different recipes, i haven't seen a consistent fix if you're sure you're doing everything correct. double check that you didn't already unlock it (can use your collection to check this, for example, since cooking it once unlocks it in your collections) and that you're using the regular coffee recipe if you're trying to make regular latte

unfortuantely the file you sent isn't openable, but if it's a pink bubble and the bubble is stuck in place, you should be able to switch towns to trigger the movement so that you can get it
Irs a bubble and it is moving but it's in an area we can't go it goes above the lake and then inside the lake cant reach it it must be in the wrong spot

Platform: PC (Steam)
OS: Windows 11 on ARM (Snapdragon / Copilot+ PC)
Issue: Game closes immediately after accepting EULA
After the latest update, Heartopia consistently closes right after I accept the End User Licence Agreement.
Steps:
Launch Heartopia via Steam
EULA appears
Click Accept
Heartopia logo with red exclamation + loading bar appears
Game exits to desktop (no error message)
Expected: Proceed to login / main menu
Actual: Game closes every time
Notes:
– Game worked normally on this same device for ~2 weeks before the update
– Steam overlay off, Discord overlay off, full‑screen Steam, file verify, config reset → no change
– Issue is 100% reproducible

Is there a way to contact support? I love my animals but I hate that they follow me and decide to lay anywhere and become unable to be interacted with or even pet or things it’s blocking. I’ve burned so many high priced cooking dishes because it’s in the way. Please tell me how to get rid of these or ask support to lol. I cannot wait to level high enough.

Your pets getting in the way of planting or cooking is genuinely the worst thing in the fcking game. Why the hell can't I keep my BURNING FOOD from fcking up when my cat is an "obstacle". Pets being considered "obstacles" is so stupid & unnecessary. It's genuinely so fcking annoying & causes me to burn food & waste resources. This needs to be fixed whether it's intentional or not. It's happened to so many people that also play & it genuinely pisses people off.
make sure you're
- using the same server (the globe icon next to 'start')
- logging in with the same log in. if you have multiple versions of that login (eg multiple google acconts), try all the other accounts to see if any of them have an account attached
is anyone else unable to update their game, mine keeps saying "disk read error" and doesn't update.

I´m experiencing a similar issue. I can't ever finish to download the update on Steam. Whenever I try to boot the game, it takes me to the steam downloads and it's forever stuck at 95% even if it mentions the download is over.

hi!! I don't know if there's any fixes besides clearing storage (which I'm not at all able to do) but to update, it says I need 800 mb! I went to update with the amount of storage it asked, and now it needs 8 gb. I don't have 8 gb because everything I have on my phone is important, so I'm not really sure what to do about that :( is it supposed to be 8 GB or 800 mb? mobile by the way!!

Not getting any particular error from the game, my steam isn't installing the game at all, it gets stuck at 95% when installing. I've tried rebooting my pc and all, killing the steam task and rebooting it, but it automatically starts doing the heartopia install that will get inevitably stuck at the same spot.

is it just me, or are the buttons not very responsive anymore? like I'm trying to do a bug catching event, but half the time I tap my net button, nothing happens. Same with when I'm cooking, I'm tapping the button to adjust heat, or take the food off the stove, and nothing happens half the time
Have you tried installing the game while using a different Internet connection ? It could maybe help.

Before steam, I used taptap but it seems like I can't have both launchers at the same time installed because they conflict each other, so in the end I had to stay with steam.

Went back into the game after the update and nothing in my shops is updated. It’s all the same old stuff=(…. My friend got all new pet costumes, clothing…etc, what is going on? Plus my bob shop never updated on Saturday and I it won’t let me rebuy anything that I had already bought bc it was the same stuff from last week. Help.
From personal experiences, the steam version felt much more buggy compared to the taptap version. I made the switch and it worked a lot better

There's a maximum amount of people that can be in a forum thread at any one time - this is a Discord limitation, unfortunately. This means that anyone already in the thread can message in it without issue, but new people can't join in. The mods create new threads whenever one fills up, so check the title of the thread you're trying to join, and look for similar titles but with numbers (eg 2, 3, etc). The one with the biggest number is the newest thread, and is most likely still open for people to join. You can't create your own thread, need to use the pre-made ones

So I think this is a new glitch I was pulling gatcha and then I crashed and I pulled these and yeah
you should be able to switch towns and clear the visual glitch, if that doesn't work you can go back to the start screen and click 'repair'
if you go to annie, does she have a dialogue pop up for the quest?

You can just start a new blueprint and it removes everything!

there's supposed to be the roaming tree in front of you where the tracker is, go to it and chop. i think the game glitched and isn't showing the tree, so try walking forward until it stops you, in case it's physically there but not visually

hey all, any reason as to why heartopia from steam doesnt have an update after the maitenance? i cant play on my pc till it updates. it keeps telling me to update and restart the game and then closes.

Help! My character is walking on their own without my input / I can’t move after pulling out a tool / my tools are aiming themselves on PC!
Please check for any controllers plugged in to your PC, and unplug them if there are. This can include Bluetooth devices like headsets, or any Logitech devices, or (sometimes) keyboards. They need to be fully disconnected, not just turned off. Then restart the game.
If it turns out to be your keyboard, it may be due to conflicts with default keyboard drivers being mis-detected as controllers, which the game doesn't support. You can temporarily fix this by:
- Open Device Manager on your PC
- Expand the Human Interface Devices section
- Right-click and Disable the following 2 devices:
HID-compliant consumer control device
HID-compliant game controller
This should temporarily resolve the issue

not all items can be sold to albert, some fireworks can't be sold
The star fireworks I have sold to him in the past, which is why Im super confused
wild animals don't spawn all the time, + when they do spawn, they don't always stay near the trough. you might need to go a bit farther, for example, the alpacas can wander all the way to the other side of the rubbler duck jump game

there was one set of fireworks you could buy from ka ching using stars and then sell to albert, but the devs patched it out because people were using their stars to get rich quick

Is your backpack full? The three places you usually want to check for missing items is: backpack, mailbox, warehouse

its picked up a dodgy file that wasnt behaving how it should so it cant be downloaded
theres only 1 part of the download thats causing an issue
It’s deleting that file, which is why Heartopia can’t download. Need to make the program not delete the file I think, but I’m not familiar enough with your device to tell you how
