This is definitely a visual bug. I would recommend you try any of the following things:

Restart your game.
Restart your whole device / PC.

Manually enter a new town.
Go to the title screen / login screen.
Next to the START button, press on

I have several bugs I would like to report. The most recent maintenance seems to have resulted in them becoming more common in occurrence.

#1 When holding to place multiple crops at once, game will randomly inform you that the three empty spaces are not enough space. And thus not let you plant until you rotate to face a different direction.

#2 An adopted cat Will randomly be uninteractable and the only solution seems to be going into solo building mode and then exiting which will then allow you to interact with the cat as normal.

#3 adopted puppy every 20 minutes or so even after having completed the quest to feed your dog will randomly prompt you to tap the food button and feed him. If he were starving this would make sense, but he is consistently at 80% hunger when this randomly occurs.

#4 adopted cat turns invisible and is unfindable well seemingly located on the roof

#5 I don't know if this is a bug, but it is a very inconvenient side effect of how the interface interprets. What a moving adopted pet is. It gets in the way of gardening and does not let you place things believing that the crop bed is full or blocked by an object.

Okay so I just finished the quest ( THANKFULLY ) the other day. All you need to do is figure out your cat’s favourite food and feed it to them. It was very difficult for me and took me 3 days. My cat’s favourite food ended up being regular cat food one day so I managed to randomly complete it.

If anyone else has this issue too, where at one point during the day, your ping starts going crazy to the point you can't play... I play games before heartopia, usually just one game (infinite nikki for me but idk about others if they game before playing heartopia). If I play this game before heartopia, I get lag spikes later in the day, if I don't play a game before heartopia, I will not lag at all. Idk whats going on with that, but for others who have ping spikes while having perfect internet, if you gamed before getting on hearopia, maybe restart the pc.

from what i understand, the glitch happens because the pet walks into a piece of furniture and then gets stuck on an action while interacting with the furniture - this can happen anywhere on your plot, i guess the only way to prevent that is if you remove all of your furniture and house 😂 which is why resetting your position by entering a new town usually fixes it, since it clears out whatever action the pet was trying to do before

if your pets are stuck up in the sky or in the ground / you can't interact with them for no reason at all then enter build mode and then exit it. should help! it's a really common bug which is hopefully getting fixed soon by the developers

IF that didn't help:

• start a tea party and then cancel it
• change your town
• restart the game
• turn your wifi on and off
• go to the title screen and press the wrench button
• enter build mode and move roof/wall your pet has been stuck in and then put it back
  alternatively you can wait for them to come down

! those are temporary fixes. if you have this issue again you'll have to redo it

Most likely your crops are already watered ( especially if it is snowing ) so it isn’t counting towards the quest.

What you can do is walk around your town and find a neighbours’ house and water their crops instead ( usually players will have crops planted outside their house ).

It can take a few hours to a few days. You don’t have to keep the window open but you do need to go back from time to time to check if there is a reply to your ticket ( there will be no email notification so you must go back to check yourself ).

Hello! I was seeing people having recepies like raddish soup. I decided to research how to unlock the recepies. I wanted to find stuff naturally and in my own pace, but it was weird, because I have no more quests to do. After researching I found out that you have to finish a quest called "the aurora banquet". I thought - weird, I already completed that quest. Made the coffee and the pancakes. I did that quest in day 1. My cooking level is 7, but I can't imagine that it's the problem. Restart your device / PC.

Manually “ forget “ and reconnect to your WiFi.

This is a bug being experienced by everyone or almost everyone. We’re all still waiting for a developer’s fix for this.

In the meantime, what you can do, when you don’t see interaction bubbles above your cat try entering for a few seconds and then exit it. Approach your cat again and the interaction bubbles should be back.

The snow in the game will often fall heavy and cover everything in the game, or it will melt quickly and everything will be green again in the game. This mechanic was made to mimic snow falling and melting in real life.

To check when the snow will be back, open your watch and press on the weather icon there ( ex: ☀️ 🌈 🌧️ ). The next time you see 🌧️ is when it will snow in the game and cover everything.

When it is ☀️ weather, then that is when the snow is most likely to melt and disappear.

Is it a known bug/glitch right now to be unable to interact with your cats? My dog is always fine but most days my cats are starving and i never get a pop up to interact but i can still track them.. :[

based on the video, they would spam ice skating challenge and immediately end it while it’s counting down. if u spam it for like 280 times u will be able to claim the ice elf achievement coz the system still counts those “target not met” to dream goal challenge mode thingy
