I would like to suggest to adjust the Controls on PC because they do feel quite unintuitive. There is a whole bunch of unnecessary clicking involved like having to click on chat bubbles to speak to NPC´s instead of just being able to press F on them. Furthermore Camera control just makes me angry since it sometimes just doesnt work and it gets highly irritating if i have to click even just one extra time (sometimes more) just to be able to move the camera. Personally I would love an "actioncamera" where I dont have to press anything to move it (this would require hotkeys for all actions like speaking to NPC as mentioned) or at least make the click and drag more responsive. Furthermore the decorating being attached to the character instead of just being able to place it by cursor or having a top view is not great either and causes me to actively avoid placing items even so decorating your home is supposed to be one of the main features of the game. For this it feels very unintuitive and clunky and I hope to see improvement for all of these points fairly soon. They are big points of frustration for me personally.

ANOTHER IDEA, we should make it where animals can be tamable by having the “zookeeper” hobby. once u unlock the zoo keeper hobby from leveling up to level 20 (or whatever level is suitable for the game) you must complete a quest that the zookeeper will give u to earn a license that lets u own and tame wild animals. this quest will require you to feed tigers, washing monkeys, cleaning the area, feeding polar bears, playing with them, and healing one animal from their sickness with herbal medicine (u can make it by gathering berries, taking advantage of the cooking hobby and making medicine and feeding it to the animal.) once u complete it, youll earn your license and now u can tame wild animals with berries or fishes and let them roam around your backyard with a fence or house!

My suggestion is this: I noticed that food and sleep currently only serve as sources of energy. I hope they can be given more purpose beyond just restoring energy. For example, when a character is hungry, they'll perform a small emote, like tapping their stomach or showing a “hungry” animation.

I also hope we can add more real-life features to the character, such as getting hungry, sleepy, smelly, or bored. This would allow more interactions and give players more things to do, making the experience feel more immersive and realistic.

We get a separate island with a skatepark and have the ability to customize the top of our boards, the bottom, the wheels and maybe decals (like flames and stripes/characters). Dyeing furniture that you bought: There’s currently very limited furniture as it is, and it’s difficult to make your home look nice without having to change the whole color scheme to match one furniture piece you bought—or you just end up not using the furniture you bought because the colors don’t go.
Building walls and floors: it would make it so much easier if we could move a whole wall or floor/ceiling! And on that note, also demolish or color a whole wall or floor/ceiling. It gets tedious trying to repeatedly do an action one by one for each little tile and wall.
D.G membership levels: now, I’m not sure if it’s just me or if I’m doing something wrong, but after like after my third day playing, I was finding it hard to progress in the story. I used to be able to progress in the levels with much more ease, but now I need to wait until the next day for me to get more resident requests to get onto another level. It would be nice if we could get contribution medals in other ways rather than solely resident requests! (Ex. Gifting to residents, refilling troughs, maybe even refreshing resident requests every few hours, etc.) I find that I have nothing to do after I do the resident requests and check the clothing/furniture store; you can only explore the map so much before you get a little bit bored of it! I love the game and the art style and aesthetics, but I really wish there could be more ways to progress into the story!
Friendship with NPCs: I think it would be so amazing if we could build a friendship with NPCs! That would give something to do even after you’ve done resident requests, at least in my case. It would be very cool if you could unlock more dialogue as the relationship grows, (and maybe even unlock some backstory to the characters?) I know many have been asking for a romance option, which by all means would be cool; but I just think learning more about the NPCs and getting to increase in even just friendship would be great.
Frozen lakes/water: I saw someone else say this, and I would like to branch off it. It would be nice if the water could freeze and you could walk on it, and maybe even add an ice skating feature! I feel like there could be many activities or events you could add into that. :)
Tracker for recipes: It would help so much if cooking/crafting recipes had trackers. I take forever trying to find materials I don’t get have, and that would just help so much!

Night Lighting: Could you please make the night a bit darker? Currently, there isn't much difference in brightness between day and night. If the sky was darker, the moonlight and the night scenery would feel much more special and atmospheric.
Sky Color: The night sky doesn't feel dark enough, which makes it hard to see the beauty of the stars and the night vibe.
Bird Watching: I find it quite difficult to find birds in the game. It would be great if they were a bit easier to spot or had more frequent appearances for those of us who love bird watching.

Let's start with that one: buying things with real money has to go because you can never fill the catalog without spending money, which is a shame. Being able to charge all tools at once without having to pick single would help a lot! Takes a lot to build up energy and makes it harder to collect / gather and maneuver with ease.
Buying & Expenses:
Super hard to constantly be collecting, selling and creating just to buy things. Takes a whole day just to buy something that is 20 grand and up.
Bird & Bug hobby:
Super difficult to get newer birds and or bugs. Taken me 4 days an barely can catch anything new!
Gatcha:
Becoming to expensive and truly isn't worth it. Having something last 30 days of the same thing? That is very excessive, especially when barely get whole set even when pay real money. I have spent 50$ and can barely reach a whole clothing set which can be super frustrating when given same things already multiple times.
Gameplay:
Be nice in near future to have more farm options; such as farm animals and better ways of growing plants.
I am garden lvl 5 and still can only grow 5 vegetables!
Building:
having glass walls as well roofs for auditorium and inside gardens would be amazing!! More roof options as well build options make the game more interesting since we can have such massive property. More options for roof top stuff an upper decks and wall options, would make building so much more fun.
Quests:
Barely any in-town interactions. Gets repetitive and boring when only get 5 quests a whole day! Gossip also, only had gossip once with 7 characters since got gossip action. Need more stores! More things to do, buy and as well interact with!
This game has massive potential and already grown top charts. Please take our suggestions serious, as we want to see this game grow into something amazing and wonderful!

BIG SUGGESTIONS (totally should be included in the game) even tho it’s not now.
1-We have a lot of water,islands etc… but not exploitable,add boats/jetski/etc… creatures->continue to know more about creatures.
2- Heartopia is beautiful ! We should be able to fly,for the first time we’re not asking to fly cause it’s too slow (everything is well done !) but because it would be just beautiful -> fly with airplane/pets/creatures/wings? Imagine all the pictures we could do,missions,planes to get,wings, etc…
-> Heartopia is beautiful cause of the interactions also ! We don’t want the fly to be abused,a cooldown should be added when not in mission/special mode so everyone don’t abuse it and interactions on the ground stays possible :)
These 2 suggestions will add a lot for you and for us in terms of possibilities (planes,boats,creatures,wings) we can get from the events and gachapons while being easy for you ! You did great by doing an open world -> everything is possible, only the imagination is a limit.
3- Goes along-> Special missions,events,hobbies and especially places. For example a special place for flying or for each event.Flying could just be for fun or for maybe studying the weather? The sky? The stars? Whatever come on your mind !
4-Creatures: i’m here especially for this ! Why not adding mythical creatures that goes along every Hobby (for birds-> mythical bird, fish-> mythical fish like a kraken, insect, mythical tree for recipee etc…) that are extremely hard to get so not everyone get it. Not to create a big difference with people,but to create hunger to grind and keep going for it.
Special storage for these creatures ? Player could get them all or have to choose one of them, could give advantage/give something special for exemple the tree mythical tree give us one special ingredient for a special recipe or just be a fun creature to have.
5- Dragons Egg 🐉 : who doesn’t love dragons ? Beautiful mythical creatures but with the spirit of heartopia or even collabs (like toothless). The concept : Dragons are extremely hard to get, only good players and sustainable one could obtain. We’re searching for an egg obtainable in event or in gachapon or by grinding hard. Once we get the egg we need time to hatch it ( several days ) time is not a problem, it creates exclusiveness, excitement, creates a special day ( Monday my egg will hatch ! ) . Once hatched we get a baby dragon that grows every day/week and we should take care of it. Until it could fly. We could use this dragon to fly with, he could bring us resources given every morning, he could just fly around our house with divine aura and attract passengers (that take pictures of it, interact with it etc…)
6- Farm : we need a farm, good hobby,totally integrate the game.
7- pets: other than cats and dogs like horses that replace the car, if flying is introduced then Pegasus, if there’s boats -> adding magical pets for the sea we could take care of or just cute orcas/whales.
Actual cons of heartopia :
1-Revamp bird’s hobby, i’m sorry but it’s really really bad. Even the birds event is not understandable for most people, birds are great but not the hobby. Example : a way bigger Tuna, a Tuna of different color, A tuna bigger + with Sparkles ✨ / aura . So when we catch it and fish with friends we all know and interact cause it’s something !
While here no one can even tell 😉

I saw somebody else put this, but I think hug emotes would be super cute! I would love to have some of the cute friendship emotes with NPC’s, like a high five to somebody like Annie, or a hug to Atara. I noticed that sometimes they will say things towards the player without actually talking to them, but when you talk to whoever they don’t say very much. And their dialogue is very little.

I will also put this here, I think marriage options like other games would be super cool, especially with how much you can actually do in this game. Like if somebody were to marry a certain character, you could do their hobby together with them and earn extra points for it as well.

And I know I’m putting a lot, but I also think being able to enter more of the buildings would be cool, because I’m also interested what’s in the mayor’s building, but a lot of them you can’t interact with them.

So if you seen someone with a nice house that you like and they’re willing to share it, they can give out a code for others to import it but the players would need to have the furniture and materials to import it since it wouldn’t make sense or be fair to automatically have the items. Like genshin for example. I’m sure if there’s any genshin players in this server they will understand but in genshin if you wanna import someone’s build into your teapot/land, you first need to craft the materials if you don’t already have them yet

Good morning devs, what I wanted to request is specifically for the gardening part why not make a system more similar to Stardew Valley? Let us plow the soil with the hoe, make us fetch water from the river to fill the watering can, and have the entire planting system matter based on the season of the year. The same should go for the fish that appear during certain seasons. Right now, I've just reached winter in the game and I'm in it the idea of the soil boxes was good for that, but if there's no thermal system for those soil boxes, it loses all logic for planting in winter. Character animations for feeling cold or warming his hands in winter when he's standing still would be cool. Volumetric snow that creates footprints when stepping on it, or leaves tracks when riding the motorcycle, or even bogs down the bike if you go off-road, would be awesome. Adding more life to the NPCs would be great too, like a truck driving by to clear the roads of snow buildup by spreading salt, or NPCs shoveling snow off their houses, or hiring other NPCs or even us players to clean their houses for them in winter. That way, we'd need a shovel specifically for that purpose.
A destruction system for gathering resources rocks and trees that act like batteries don't make sense to me. You could create dedicated locations for both in the open world: forests and mines. Tall grass to cut with the sickle would be cool too. This whole gathering mode with the recharge mechanic kills the immersion in the game. It could snow and rain in the game as well, plus a day night cycle simple stuff, I know programming it takes work, but it's what I'd love to see in the game based on my experience with it.

CONSISTENT optimization across ALL platforms. It's always a priority. I strongly suggest optimizing the QoL and the overall UI before even bother presenting us to spend in the game. Polish the game out and then we can spend our money or even stick to the game longer.

CONSISTENT patches for bugs. Self-explanatory, nobody wants to spend in a game full of bugs.

Expanded Money Grind. Yes, right now the game has few options to gain money reliably but given how much other items cost, it would be great to have other options to gain money that is fun both solo-play and teamplay.

Improved Housebuilding. Give players flexible building tools keys without overwhelming complexity. ESPECIALLY on PC. Snapping options, free placement, rotation, resizing, and layered décor.

Improved Meaningful Social Interactions. Conversations, gifts, hobbies, and shared moments should unlock new dialogue, reactions, and story bits.

Expand to other platforms. Even though this is a mobile game, we would appreciate a better QoL and better UI in PC.

Expanded Hobbies. Hobbies like painting, drawing, brewing, should influence daily life, relationships, and home design. We love routine, but we want it to feel meaningful, not like busywork.

Improved Social interactions. Let players choose romance, or friendship and expand the friend interactions. The game is cozy but the interactions with other players are limited and most of the time players would just walk by. Encourage socializing without demanding them to drain their social meter. 12 players in a single server is few but as long the game stays optimized, an optional bigger server would be nice.

Improved Party. Why not give incentives for players playing together? Bonuses or even increased drop rates. To give incentives in being in a party and play together would be nice. This encourages interactions.

Marketplace / Trading System. Players can sell crafted items, plants, or custom furniture to NPCs or other players if it works.

Hello! I’d like to share some feedback regarding the game's time system.
The game is incredible; I love this style and the overall experience is great! However, the real-time clock is something that has been bothering me quite a bit.
It’s very unusual to see a game where time follows real life so strictly. For this genre, I feel it hinders the experience for two main reasons:
Limited access: It limits players who can only play at certain times. If I only play at night, I’m stuck with a permanent night cycle.
Missed content: Since some items or events are only available at specific times of the day, players who can't be online all day end up missing out on content they can never reach.
Suggestion: I believe the game would be much more interesting if it had its own internal game clock (a custom day/night cycle). This would allow everyone to experience all phases and collect all items, regardless of their real-world schedule.

I also have another suggestion that I think would be essential for the game: an in-game social media platform.
Since this game focuses heavily on fashion, house decoration, and making friends, it would be amazing to have a space where we can post photos of our characters and our homes. Having a dedicated place to show off our outfits and how we've decorated our houses to other players would fit perfectly with the game's social aspect!
Why it would be great:

I have some suggestions
1 - Make Exhibition passes easier to get, the gacha system is great but having it mostly locked behind a paywall makes it inaccessible to people who can't spend money on games, I get that the game needs profit but you can still make a profit while having a f2p option/way to get them. A great example of a good gacha currency system is Genshin Impact, Cookie Run Kingdom, and Honkai Star Rail, all those games still make great profit while also having a f2p alternative to getting gacha currency.
2 - Having clothes by dye-able, The clothes in the game are great but to make customization even better is to be able to change the color of clothes without having to buy multiple of the same thing to have different colors.
3 - Make all furniture dye-able, mainly the same reason as the clothing one.
4 - A way to get money like Jobs, have different jobs that can pay money like Restaurant worker, shelf stocker, cashier, ect. That way people don't have to run all over to get stuff to sell and make the game more immersive.
5 - More D.G level up quests instead of the 5 daily ones, adding smaller quests around the map will also make the game more immersive and fun to play, the quests don't have to be D.G related but can give small rewards like coins and furniture blueprints

Please fix the advanced building interface when editing roofs. When I go to change the height or shape of a roof, it displaces it from the grid. It is then very difficult to place back where it was. Maybe add ability to lock certain things so they won’t be accidentally moved.

Also would love to see more color options and a more intuitive interface for selecting colors rather than scrolling through a long horizontal list each time. Ideally we can select colors from a wheel or input a hex code. Then save our favorite colors to a custom palette that we can easily select from.

I know some of you would think that this wi ruin the game. I certainly agree. so I have suggestions to make it fair and balanced.

Add a tag that makes the item tradable to other players, but it cannot be sold anymore (to prevent easy printing of coins)
Limit number of times you can trade/receive an item per week (3x a week maybe a good number)
Certain items should be only tradable depends on DG level (or hobby level)
Limit items to only dishes, crops, fishes (basically items you can get from hobby stuffs) that can be traded. Maybe some furnitures. GACHA ITEMS will stay as non tradable

First of all, thank you for the game — it’s incredibly engaging, especially for such an early release. I’ve been playing since the first days and really enjoy the building system.

I’d like to suggest a feature related to house blueprints.

Currently, players can save their house as a blueprint, but there is no way to share this blueprint with other players. I believe allowing blueprint sharing would significantly improve the social and creative aspects of the game without breaking balance.

Important clarification:
Blueprint sharing would NOT give any resources, furniture, or progression advantages.

Even with a shared blueprint:

Players would still need to obtain all required materials themselves
Limited-time or shop-exclusive furniture would remain unavailable
Rare resources and profession level requirements would still apply
If a player lacks enough plot space, the house would only be partially built.

This means blueprints act as a layout reference, not a shortcut.

Why this would be beneficial:

Encourages creativity and community interaction
Enables fun challenges like “recreate this house with your own resources”
Helps new players set long-term goals without skipping progression
Increases retention by giving players inspiration and motivation

In fact, copying a top-tier house would still be very difficult or impossible due to limited items, progression locks, and plot size restrictions — so originality remains protected.

Possible implementation ideas:

Blueprint sharing only via trade or direct player interaction
Option to preview missing items before building
Watermark like “Original blueprint by [player name]”

I truly believe this feature would strengthen the building system and community without harming game balance.

I wanted to give some feedback about the camera controls on PC. At the moment, players have to hold right click to rotate the camera. It would feel much more natural if the camera moved automatically when the mouse moves, without needing to hold any mouse button.

Improve gacha system: currently, the game doesn't have as much option in giving out currencies for the gacha (for f2p). F2p players SHOULD be rewarded for playing the game, even more if daily, allowing them to gain a sizeable amount of gacha currency just by playing. The amount they get should at least guarantee them a whole set of clothes from the gacha for maybe every 2-3 banners reset.
Vehicles should be a bit faster, as they move really slowly.
You should be able to gain energy just by sitting or lying down somewhere. Some interactions outside don't provide that, which doesn't make sense.
Remove invisible barriers in some areas that are unneeded (like when there's water). Allow players to go through those areas and just put invisible barriers at map edges.
Build mode should have more variety in buildings. For example, one that allow players to create rounded corners, since currently, you can only make sharp edges (like with fences).
Make it so that the screen automatically turns wherever your character looks, like in games such as Wuthering Waves or Genshin Impact.
Add an option to lessen the screen smoothing when you turn. It makes me dizzy.
Add unique pets, like those animals that are interactable outside. Maybe make a fostering system where you can adopt them.
More options for ceilings/floors that allow for creativity.
Hire REAL artists. Don't use AI in gameplay both in art and dialogue. It will make this game lose players.
Option to undo what has been sold to Albert.
Outfit presets.
Have an option to sit, lie down, and other similar actions, anywhere.
Rework the gacha banner system: the way it currently is is very confusing, surprising, and predatory, as some of the banners have gachas that increase in needed currency each time you draw. Make it so that you only need a set of currencies for each draw (like the snow-themed ones.)

the blueprint feature is messy and convoluted. the concept of them is great but the execution is not.
i feel like blueprints should moreso be treated as separate plots in a way if that makes sense. its weird that it charges you for all the walls and floors and roofs and such every time you load up the blueprint.. and a lot of people have been panicking when they try to load up a blueprint they cant afford and then half of their house is missing.. the entire feature is just confusing

The game is fun but once the quest is done, there isn’t really much to do but to build and collect whichever you want. I don’t know how some people find it amazing but it is kinda boring once you’re all done. So hopefully, you will add a job. Please please please allow us to have more than just 24 hours per week for private servers. I pay for the membership to get benefits like these, and it's a little disappointing to have to pay blue hearts just to have more than that amount. It's overstimulating to have random players coming into my house and bombarding me, and while I can change the settings for that, trying to go around and do things outside of my house is still an issue too. Adjust tree and bush interactions to scale rewards by size and separate fruit gathering from wood chopping.

Currently, most tree types provide similar, very small wood yields, which makes smaller trees inefficient to interact with and discourages using anything other than the largest trees. It could feel more rewarding if different tree sizes had distinct roles and yields.

One approach could be to give smaller trees and fruit trees dual interaction options:
• Shake – yields fruit (or sticks, depending on the tree type)
• Axe – yields wood only

For example:
• Fruit trees: shaking could give multiple fruits and a stick, while chopping could give a small amount of basic wood
• Very small non-fruit trees: shaking could yield sticks, chopping yields basic wood
• Medium trees (e.g., birch): higher wood yield per strike, with a small chance of higher-quality wood
• Large trees (e.g., pine, small oak): even higher wood yield and increased chance of quality wood, without shake options
• Largest trees (oak): remain largely the same.

Bushes could follow a similar logic by separating interactions:
• Pick berries – yields more fruit
• Rummage – yields more sticks

This would make resource gathering feel more intentional, reward engaging with different tree sizes, and reduce the feeling that smaller trees aren’t worth interacting with unless absolutely necessary.

So, I had this idea for a 'town market' where the 12 players can put extra items they have for sale (ex: wood, fruit, rocks, etc) and other said players could buy these items. Kinda a farmers market vibe if you will. It could be a set place in tbe town center or connected to your main box. Either way, I think it would bring alive the of a farming community even more!

After unlocking pets and spending some time playing with the system, I noticed a few situations where interacting with pets can be a bit difficult during normal gameplay. I wanted to share these as potential QoL ideas.

Pet selection flexibility
Once the pet hobby is unlocked, it would be nice to have the option to swap your current cat or dog for a different one. Many players choose pets before fully understanding personalities or preferences, and having flexibility later on would help players settle on pets they enjoy long-term.

Basic pet positioning options
Pets often stay very close to the player, which can sometimes interfere with placing objects, planting, or interacting with the environment. Simple options like asking a pet to stay in one spot or follow again could help reduce accidental blocking.

Pet spawn location choice
When logging in, pets appear next to the player, usually outside the house. A placeable spot that determines where pets appear when loading in (similar to vehicle pads) could give players more control over this.

Movement consistency
Pets can occasionally move through walls, fences, or closed doors, and stair navigation can be inconsistent. Having pet movement follow the same general rules as player movement would make their behavior feel more predictable.

Optional convenience ideas
• Treats that temporarily restore pet energy
• Small adjustments to how often pets can participate in training

Idk if this has been said but the in-game currency needs some work specially the ones behind a pay wall because there are too many and they're not f2p friendly which can be a problem for the game because this matter have caused the downfall of many gachas. What I would suggest would be to have a reasonable amount of pulls by completing quests and events but at the same time increasing the amount of outfits/clothing so the people who want variety can get it thought monetary value (but not locking color picking, please). Also, it would be nice to befriend the local npcs and get some rewards from this!!! This game has potential and it would be a waste for it to be over just because of this, I hope this game has a bright future.

I say this because I LOVE the building feature a lot and built my house with a lot of care and love and spent hours on it
And when I posted it to the showcase channel a lot of people asked me if I could build their houses and honestly I would love to!
Maybe as a "build a house suggestion model" and then save it as a purchasable blueprint for those who want someone to build it for them or design it for them seeing as some people enjoy decorating with furniture more but dislike building buildings
I love both aspects
But I still want to be able to help a wider variety of people with it since its something I enjoy!

That would be really cool. The fourth thing is being able to travel away from the island to other cities or something, or to be able to swim. And for hobbies, you could have fossil hunting, sports, or reptile hunting, and so on. As I said, maybe you could fill a museum or a zoo. Sorry for my English, I'm from Germany 😅
