Better keybinds please, I can stress enough!! pc users are suffering, having to hold the mouse down everytime I wanna rotate my screen, having to click on things manually, and an "e" or "f" keybind to interact with things, also on how to do the rotate thing; just make it a default for the mouse to only appear to click things when u press alt! and normally it isn't on screen so u can rotate freely, for text bubbles I think clicking space should also count as clicking to skip, these are mostly common for other games anyway, I know the game is new so I expected it not to be perfect but I wish u guys can improve for some quality <3 please and thank you devs

so I will say some things that I think it should be changed: be able to go back to the menu instead of just having an exit game button, change the UI tool interface, I feel like it's really not that practical because you have to click on it and then click again in the tool you want to select, we at least should be able to bind them into a keyword, be able to swim, rework the loading screen when changing to build mode I feel like it takes some time changing between build mode and normal mode and I just want to build right away, lower the price of the bus a little bit it is too high for begginers, and rework the camera movement because on pc I can't do a 360 degrees rotation, maybe that's because this is like a emulator, on some gachas I don't think it's a good Idea to increase the price when each pull is summoned, it should be a fixed price, also for couples playing together we need like a system were they like kiss each other, can marry each other it should be amazing to assist to a wedding and everyone is clapping, on fences we need door fences of the same style to make a farm

I’d love a cleaning hobby to be added into the game eventually - mopping, dusting, cleaning surfaces, taking out trash, vacuuming, etc. Like after a while, your house gets dirty (similar to that one sims pack lol) and you have to clean it, maybe some other places too but not sure yet. Would be cool!

It’s really frustrating that there’s no way to earn free banner pulls just by playing the game. Even after spending a lot of time actively playing, the only option seems to be paying. some suggestions that i find could help:

Pressing B to open bags should also be pressed to close bags.
Pressing M to open the map should also be pressed to close the map.
When in solo-building, the ESC button should be used to exit out of the current customization options and go back to the "main" portion of customization. Instead, when I press escape during certain customizations, it takes me out of solo-building completely.
When exiting solo-building, there should be a prompt that asks if we want to exit building. That way, if the button is pressed too many times or accidentally, it does not remove you from customization. Saves players from sitting in the loading screen!
When spinning objects in your home, there should be a button to spin LEFT and an option to spin RIGHT.
I would love to have our hand-held clothing items be interactable! If you have a pin-wheel, you should be able to blow on it to make it spin. If you have the cute "Seal North Wind Cannon", you should be able to shoot the plush seal out of the cannon! Maybe have this option as an emote?
When I click to move my camera, if the mouse-click happened on top or near my character, the camera will not move. The camera should still move even if the character is clicked.
If the door can be opened or closed, then so can the windows!
When in advanced building mode (on PC), the left mouse button should be what the left side of the screen does. The right mouse button should be what the right side of the screen does. (Sorry I don't know how to explain those exact movements.
The "Half Wall" option does not have any baseboards. It should have the baseboard if connected to a floor, like how the "Low Wall" and "Wall" options have the baseboard.
When making stairs, there's not exactly a clean way to cover the underside of the stairs except with walls. Could there be some option like this in the future?

Rename french channels.

As a french person, we would NEVER. say "salon de jeu" or "cherche coéquipier".

This is obvious that all the translation (at least in french) on the server and on the game was made using google translate, and I can't lie, this looks kinda bad for french players.

Anyway, "salon-de-jeu" and "cherche-coéquipier" channels should be named something else. I honestly can't figure out what could any other name be, because I just don't know what you would want to say in english, so if you'd like to implement this suggestion, contact me on discord this username and tell me what exactly would it be in english for these two channels names and I'll tell you another way of translating them !

I’d love an Agriclture hobby that allows players to buy farm animals and raise them for products we can also buy from Massimo. Cows could provide milk (and we can buy recipes from Massimo to make cheese and butter with the milk), chickens can provide eggs, pigs can provide meat, and sheep can provide wool for new questlines for the boutique or making new furniture. Also, I think it’d be fun if once you reach a certain level in the hobby, players could buy horse, bull, or donkey mounts (simply cosmetic like the motorcycles and cars).

Hello,
I just want to share some concerns, I know some of them have been mentioned but I want to address them again.

1.controls
I wish the camera just follows your mouse movement it's such a drag that you have to hold RMB to pan the camera.
The controls are just stiff and needs to be optimized.

Hobbies
Unlocking hobbies is not an issue to me I can take it slow. One concern is the experience granted especially in cooking. You need to have at least 4 ingredients to cook something from a recipe, then you need to watch the heat (turning it off) and after doing all that one dish just gives you 2 exp points for that hobby. They should also unlock auto cooking.
Ping
Is it just me or anyone else's ping just go from like 79 to 10,000 ping and my just hinders activity like I burned my salad because the heat control did not pop up because of lag.
House designing
Don't get me wrong I love the design aspect but I wish they switch it to bird's eye view whenever you're designing (like sims4) because god help my motion sickness because of looking up down and side.

These are some things that I find ok so far.

I like it. it's simple.
Quest
I like the concept of limited per day but it also doesn't hurt to have more in a day to keep players busy aside from exploring and grinding mats

A fixed camera in advanced building. On mobile its extremely frustrating adjusting roofs and walls because if your fingers are too big, you end up moving the roof and wall instead of adjusting it

Someone mentioned this before but i cant stress enough how unmotivating the Cooking Hobby is when each recipe at the beginning only gives you 2+ exp and you have to use up 4 different resources to do it. Either upgrading the amount of exp for each recipe, add an auto cook to make it quicker, or less ingredients for early on recipes.

A feature where you can draw art and have it be publicly seen in something like an in-town art gallery would be so cute! As an artist myself, it would have me that much more immersed into the game! Let people see your work in progress AS you draw in game, with live updates, so you can watch people draw!
Add the ability to layer clothes. I think this would be such a fun way to let people be a little more unique and special! I’ve already bumped into issues layering my items, particularly in the head category, I feel like we should be able to go crazy with it! If someone wants to wear two or three shirts layered over one another, heck yeah!
Add more interaction with animals, Nintendogs style, I feel like people, including myself, would absolutely adore that.
OKAY, an actual criticism, constructing a house, especially a multi-level one, is so hard with the way the camera works. I’m not sure what can be done but I would love if the camera was more… helpful. It’s like I’m constantly fighting against it while trying to build.
Absolutely some multiplayer minigame type things in the style of overcooked and so on like mentioned in the survey!
This might be out there, but hear me out…

I would suggest against the use of generative AI in any form and vote for removing/replacing any currently in use in the game. When you have talented artists on your team, it feels disrespectful that it would even be a consideration. I already suggested something here, but i want to also suggest a, play as pets option!! Like if we achieve a certain level of bond with our pets we can play as one, of course you cant do things with your pickaxe and its mostly for running and jumping around and possibly you can collect berries and maybe there would be pet challenges to do, or something thats fitting as an activity that you can do as a pet. Otherwise for me roaming around and playing as one of your pets would be a really fun idea!!! I also know now foxes are not pets, and I would love LOVE it if they made it where you can actually have them as pets. Possibly one of the trust bonds in the higher levels that lets us own, that trusted wild animal, like they want to be your forever friend or something so its like the level would be called "forever friends!" I think that sounds cute. Then you can own them as you do cats and dogs, same to all the other wild animals, like bunnies and such :). I would also think that the "play as pet" option would be avaliable for all of the wild pets too, so like literally my dream would to be to run around the map as a fox and take a bunch of pictures because cuteeeeeeee!!! 🤩🩷 anywho! I really really hope overall foxes get added as pets and otherwise I hope that we could play as any pet/animal along the lines in the future 🥰🌟

Hello, Heartopia development team!

I genuinely fell in love with the game the moment I started playing. Exploring the map and capturing photos has been such a joyful experience, and it’s clear how much love and creativity went into building this world.

That said, I’ve been having some difficulty fully enjoying the gameplay due to frequent lag. I’ve already tried setting the graphics to the lowest options, which does help with performance, but it also limits my ability to appreciate the game’s visuals and take meaningful screenshots/pictures that truly capture Heartopia’s beauty.

I believe Heartopia has already touched the hearts of many players (including mine!) and those who are eager to experience it but are held back by hardware limitations.

With further optimization for low-end or low-spec devices, more players would be able to enjoy smoother gameplay and create memorable moments — without having to sacrifice the game’s visual charm.

Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication. Heartopia has truly earned a special place in my heart, and has helped me through difficult times. I hope this feedback can help make the experience even more accessible and enjoyable for everyone!

My suggestion goes along with the recent announcement. If you don’t want people to sell their talents and abilities for offline currency, add it has a feature in the game.

Allow people to maybe hang posters in the town, or have a sign / booth at their house that allows them to sell - maybe “yard sale” or something. Then people can sell the items and talents inside the game for gold vs offline unsafe.

For starters, this is about the server itself, not the actual game.

Hi! I’m sure the staff/mod teams have heard or will hear about the recent pinging everyone situation in the channel, celebrate-together, and while it got handled quick, it wasn’t quick enough, as the channel has a ton of messages in there that don’t relate to the channel (maybe a mini suggestion would be deleting it and restarting it, since people will continue to ask why they got pinged 40 times) and is basically a mess now.

That being said, I’m here to suggest opening more mod applications. This is a 260k+ member server that will continue to grow. The mod team is small, and there needs to be more people on deck when things like this happen. I understand the mods have lives irl, which is why I’m suggesting there needs to be more mods, also from different time zones, so when something happens like this situation, there would be someone to stop it immediately. And I think the mod team is already doing a great job, but there just needs to be more of you. That’s all :))

If you’re anything like me and love the building mechanics of this game, but can’t settle for one project and wanna continue exploring new designs…

It would be genius to have a ‘save preset’ function for houses, furnished or not. Like three to four slots maybe, or even with the possibility of expanding ‘house/building slots’?
So whenever you’re inspired to start something new, but that house you just finished still rocks, you can save it before demolishing and put it back up when you want to switch it up again.

I'd like to be able to freeze my character while they're performing an action. It's difficult to capture, for example, them making a heart-shaped gesture in a photo because when I close the animation menu, they've already finished posing. I would like to make a suggestion regarding the friend system in Heartopia.
Currently, players who created their accounts on different servers/regions are unable to add each other as friends. The main issue is that this restriction is not clearly explained during account creation, which leads to frustration later, especially after players have already invested significant time progressing in the game.
Because Heartopia has a strong social focus, this limitation negatively affects the overall experience. Players expect to be able to connect with friends regardless of server, and discovering this restriction only after progressing can be very discouraging.

Suggestion:Add a server/region change option Or allow cross-server friendships
Or clearly warn players about this restriction before starting the game
Any of these improvements would help avoid confusion and greatly enhance the player experience.

We need a chat log so we can reference conversations in game.

Right now the only way to see what people say is to look at their chat bubbles above their heads which disappear after a few seconds. I've missed what friends have said because I've been in a menu or was not looking directly at them when they typed. Cooperative games like the duck parkour is difficult when you have to be standing still looking at each other to communicate. This makes chatting in the game inconvenient and cumbersome.

I haven't had this issue yet, but I can see not having a chat log in the game also becoming an issue for moderation. If someone decides to be inappropriate, we need to be able to have a chat log with a record of what was said so we can screenshot it to report to the devs.

Hi! I’m playing Heartopia on PC (TapTap version) and I’d like to suggest a mouse-lock / free camera option.
Currently, the camera only rotates when clicking and dragging the mouse, which feels limiting during exploration and building.
In many PC games (like Tower of Fantasy or Minecraft), the cursor is hidden and the camera rotates simply by moving the mouse, making gameplay much smoother.
On mobile this isn’t very noticeable, but on PC it makes a big difference.
Having an optional “Free Camera / Lock Cursor” setting in the controls would greatly improve the PC experience.

Not being able to grind Exhibition Passes is a terrible and confusing decision. This is like if you weren't able to grind pulls in Infinity Nikki, Life Makeover, or other games where cosmetics are a big focus of the game. It doesn't help that it looks like reskins for the tools are also going to be locked behind getting tons of dupes. Why give us multiple banners using the passes and then only make it paid? Codes aren't supposed to be frequent, so it's never a reliable source of pulls for F2P. But it's also not supposed to be the ONLY source of pulls. I really like the mechanics of this game with all the different hobbies you can build, but the multiple premium-only banners would turn me away from playing long term.

team, I was so happy starting the game when It launched coz finally I was given neutral colour scheme furnitures instead of PINK that i got 2 beta test, then after 2 days it refreshes to green colour. It sucks coz I wasn't able to purchase everything in that Neutral line (i got sick, so no time to play much) then this new colour will refresh after 6days while the first one only 2 days. I hope we have an option to refresh it or have an option to select colour scheme based on whats already been displayed before. Between the current and previous one.

I love the game, but I can’t fully enjoy since I have to use the screen all the time to move and to look at the same time. It would be nice if there’s an option to use a controller (in my case I’m using my xbox controller to play) since this is a slow pace game and we can hold our own time, I can still play while I am at work. It’s just too bad that I can’t fully grab into my keyboard while working and ipad screen to play

I didn't know people were commissioning others to make outfits and houses, but based on the announcement I think that if it's a big thing in the community it means it would work as a feature.
So how about a feature that allows you to do it safely?
Maybe have it be friendship locked and by invitation, so let's say you can only edit someone's house with a special invite.
For outfits maybe create a quest that allows us to get the mannequin items/assets used for the clothing shop and then you can put one at home with a set outfit that people can access and wishlist the items off of or something like that. That way the fashion aspect is still creative and up to everyone but people can get outfit inspiration from others more easily.

I'm just suggesting it because I think that if it's a huge problem for the community it's also a huge area of opportunity that could be turned into a safe feature that fosters community and creativity in the game

I am really enjoying heartopia so far and got hooked with how cute the avatars are, but I have some feedback based on my experience so far. The person has a cute idea: The hamster could roll around in the house in a sphere/hamster ball.

I am taking the liberty of using this suggestion to reiterate my idea about the horse (and cart, look up "horse and carriage" to learn more about my suggestion)

Farm animals 🐔

It would be such an improvement if we could adopt farm animals to get our own eggs, milk, and process the milk into cheese, or butter,..

Farm animals could be purchased from a new NPC and would spawn as babies. After some time and attention/food, they would grow up and eventually be able to produce resources like eggs or milk.

A bucket would be required to collect the milk and could be crafted with iron.

Maybe one day they will not be able to produce resources as they got too old (would take a week or more so it doesn't get annoying) in which case we can sell them for a better price than the one we bought them for. (like in PlayVille)

Of course, we could give them a name!

And it would be great to add architecture elements that would let us do a barn, and furniture like a "hay bed", "bucket full of wheat", "barn fork"..

There could even be a mini-game in the NPCs barn, with a "find the needle in the hay" game!

More vehicles! 🎿

There should be greater diversity in vehicles.

There could be free-hands vehicles:

Roller blades (picoburrit0)
-> Would be fun if we trip sometimes, but make sure it doesn't happen too often because it would be annoying.
Skateboard
Monocycle
-Hoverboard, Hoverboard Sci-fi (that levitates)

The free-hands vehicles could let us collect berries and bushes without getting down of the vehicle/un-equipping it.

A scooter (the regular kind, not the motorised kind)

We could be able to do ice skating when it snows. There would be a place that is iced, on which we could walk and automatically be given the shoes to ice skate, and that automatically removes once we leave the ice zone.

There could be like a geyser or the same but with air around the map near the cliffs, so you could get up there easily.

It’s really hard to start all over again every time we change servers. I suggest that our progress should be saved so we can switch servers without losing everything. I’ve already invested so much time and effort into my first account, and starting again knowing I won’t be able to get the same items. just feels like such a waste.
It would also be great to have preset outfits for different weather conditions and special events, so players don’t have to manually change outfits all the time.
Another feature I’d like to suggest is a house blueprint system. It would be really helpful if players could copy or use someone else’s house design as a blueprint, especially for those who aren’t great at designing their own homes. Of course, this should only be possible with the original creator’s permission, so their work is respected. This would make house customization more accessible and fun for everyone.
Another suggestion is to add more romantic options, like the possibility of marrying NPCs. 🤣
Lastly, allowing players to gift items to each other after reaching a certain level of friendship would make interactions more meaningful and enjoyable.

If it was only a vehicle, it would be in the same section as other vehicles, by pressing the Vehicle button on bottom right and could be selected as default vehicle.

Maybe there could be different horses, and the most expensive it is the faster it is. People would like to see their favorite horse breed in the game.

Maybe even custom them (mane length and color, same for tail, horse’s coat,..) and the saddle.

CART: There could also be a cart.

It would be bought to the same NPC that sells horses.

The horse could be ride without the cart, and there would be an option to attach the cart to the horse, by selecting it in the VEHICLE menu or by going near it, assuming it would be placed in the home area when not used.

I see two options:

The cart storage could be connected to the warehouse’s. When you put an item in your cart, it goes to your warehouse. We can or cannot take warehouse’s items using the cart (It would be more realistic if we couldn’t).
The cart would have its own storage and have a limit. For example, the storage starts at 30. You could upgrade it by talking to the NPC, using coins, and it could up to 60, then 100, and so on..

We could also buy different cart skins, or it could change by its own according to the upgrade we have, but I think people would prefer having their own skin unrelated to the storage upgrade, because they wouldn’t want to upgrade the storage if they want to keep the skin they currently have on their cart.

HORSE AND CARRIAGE: I think a carriage would be a great idea, with several seats, for role-play purpose and going around with friends.
People could even use the horse and carriage as a taxi to make some money.

after crafting a food 30 times or so you should be able to auto craft it, cooking is so time consuming and such a chore and it's actually a bit of a negative experience since its one of the main ways to make money and everything is so expensive!!
