We need a clear and concise apology that does not glaze over the content of the matter. You could tell people were confused about what was offensive, what was implied, who kapil even was, and all that confusion caused an uproar! An uproar that then needed a scapegoat which was everyone who was offended (rightfully so, considering they did remove it.) so they antagonized people who were hurt and gave ammunition to people to downplay the situation. It’s the best weapon for the wound mechanic in Wilds. Combine that with flayer skill level 3 and it’s so busted dude 😭 I also like becoming a living beyblade and spinning down monster’s backs. Greatsword is great for offsetting and power clashing (another new mechanic)

With Heartopia I think because it's a free cozy game that is accessible on phones and PC it puts more eyeballs on the event because people bring up insensitive issues like these in games all the time (plus we have an event for trading badges/communicating going on right now and those threads were completely locked at one point). If a negative event is handled quickly and largely in silence, that's easier to miss as a fan but if it's partially addressed, like this event, it feels bigger especially with some of the responses and moderations around it. It's wild. It was impossible to get folks caught up on what was going on because comms were being deleted left right and center
