I think mods and staff are two different teams though. mods manage the server i think they’re all volunteers and don’t get paid? the staffs are the ones related to the devs more likely.

replying to @noble tusk it’s not so much about the benefits. point is they’re two different teams. the one who apologised is a staff member, not a moderator. so saying the moderator apologised but is deleting messages doesn’t seem right because they’re not the same team. what they did is diabolical but doesn’t change that it’s not the same representing team. for all we know mods still manage servers but they aren’t devs themselves.

Sure they "changed" the npc quest but I find their apology disingenuine. To think that they deliberately made their post extremely vague as to not let more people be aware of what happened and just make it look like people are “over reacting” to the animation rather than the full picture.

When MODS put the server in slow mode at 6 hrs, it means mods just want everyone to** stop talking** in the server for a** long while** for a multitude of reasons. But **MAINLY ** The mods think you all need a break away from the space completely and a hard reset for your brains and to rethink your overall behavior in the server as a whole.

They also might want to take a look at all messages to clear out, members and messages that break TOS and have a moving chat makes it hard to do that, however, in my own servers, I would make a specific announcement that the server is officially being shut down for hours and give date and time until maintenance is over.

At any rate, chat in dms with your friends and anyone in here you officially made friends with, it might be good to just lessen your time in this server in general

You can (if need be) EDIT your comments and tag your friends in your new thoughts if you have to

From my understanding, the mods don't make that decision. There's people above them who told them to put the chat in slow down unfortunately. They just do what they're told but then receive hate and death threats over it. It's also not the mod's fault they're understaffed and don't have sufficient enough moderation privileges. You now have to have a premium subscription on Roblox to sell stuff in the market, at all. Anything that is on there, if you don’t start paying for the subscription ($10-$20 USD a month) by the 19th of March, every item you have uploaded will be removed. That includes both 2D and 3D uploads. They said if you bought and own an item it will stay in your inventory even IF removed. There’s also upload fees but that isnt new, it’s just more on top of that.
