a) situations can be handled more efficiently
b) people who deserve punishment can be punished faster

When I run servers, I place down rules and a full-fronted penalty list of what could happen if they violate it. One violation, I'm sparing them for. If they continue, then timeouts would've been placed, if more violations happen, there will be bans for certain amount of days, and if they come back continuing, it would be perma.

NOW, if some cases happen where someone would either place scams or place any dangers on someone else, (for example, threats, or d#xxing), THAT would be an immediate perma ban.

Im actually a vet nurse and worked at a shelter for awhile... I used to be put on task for dealing with the very very sickly animals that nobody would claim. As emotionally tolling as it was I would often let their last moments be in my lap, filled with nothing but love. Even despite not having a bond with the animals it was always heartbreaking. Animals have something special about them 💜💜💜
