It doesn't change how it's messed up, but I do still think that it's sound advice to continue using it and placing reports to leave an evidence trail of your own.

It definitely is frustrating to be ignored repeatedly, I just do think that there are probably better ways to try to address it rather than have all the emotions bearing down on the one mod who is attempting to respond to everyone.

Unfortunately, I don't think hiring more mods will fix this issue, as what's wrong is the moderation in general. There doesn't seem to be communication between the mods, and there doesn't appear to be communication with the admins either. Until that's fixed, hiring more mods might make actually it worse.
