Mine barely hurted at all so I’m not sure how I can help , but yea pls don’t use straw, choose soft food that isn’t too extreme in temperature (too hot, too cold) , and for analgesics, ibuprofen + acetaminophen is best for this type of pain than opioids

Yes, those are ibuprofens too. Advil is ibuprofen (NSAID), aleve is naproxen (longer acting). They are good but if they don’t seem to be enough for the pain, you can have them along with acetaminophen at the same time . Common acetaminophen brand is paracetamol
