Me too. The game itself is so cute, the concepts are so good. The gameplay loop is good, the clothing and furniture are good, but this launch is awful, they're disguising a mobile emulator as a "PC launch" and told everyone it would launch officially on PC yesterday when that was just false, and if they used Generative AI without disclosing that's against Steam TOS and flat out unethical. My personal view is (and I know some people will disagree with this) is that I don't want generative AI used at ANY stage of development. I dont' want it used in concepts, for "placeholders," to get ideas, for anything. I think if you need generative AI for those things, you are being lazy and/or cheap and just refuse to pay your staff for their talents and work. Game development is difficult and expensive, I know, but if it's truly so expensive that you need to use AI to do even those early stage things for you? Wrap it up, man.
