I was playing as station security and the descriptions for the security headset and the seclite (and Security glasses I think, but I didn't get a screenshot) indicate that they are restricted to NFSD and Frontier Command, evidently not authorized for Security guard use (giving the red "you may want to avoid carrying this around" text. I'm reasonably sure this is not intended. Unless NT wants the station security guard to stumble around without comms or lights?

Not sure if this is resolved or not, but here are other items that Security Guard starts with or has access to that also show the 'don't carry this around without good reason' text. Handcuffs, tear gas, stun baton, satchel, glasses
@frank swift Fuck it just update it to "NFSD or SR Employees"
and call it a day
Or "NFSD And Frontier Command & Security"
The Security belt from loadouts also contains a Stun Baton, Flashbang, Tear gas, and Cuffs
All of which are marked to say you shouldn't have been issued them
In a similar-ish vein, I noticed that a sawn-off shotgun has no contraband notice at all. I expect it should be C1, as any other normally obtainable weapon, saying 'yeu should be in the clear to hold this' as a contractor, with the caveat that it is subject to seizure in case of a crime, etc.
Instead it appears as any non-contraband item, with only grey description text and no green/yellow C1 or red/yellow C2+ text.
No screenshot at the moment, but I can furnish one if needed
no it's simply because
Why, of course.
Everyone knows the barrel is the dangerous part of a gun! It’s where the bullets go out!
Less barrel, less illegal. That's logic!
makes sense.
