Reason for Ban: No idea

Your side of the story: I was with a player called Marley, he was teaching me mining. We went on an asteroid and met other players there, then we found a vault like room with guns. the other players left and hacked the door to keep us inside. we pick axed our way out of there. Without oxygen my mate fainted, so i dragged him to our ship, when i arrive to our ship, i see a guy in armor with a light in our ship, iddle, not knowing much i think he is part of the other group that left us to die and is looting our ship, so i take my pickaxe and attack him to protect my ship which i know is our only way out. Next thing i know an admin whisps me telling me "what do you think you are doing ?" aying i was hitting dead bodies, i explain to him what i just said, and mid explaination i get kicked to "read the rules" so after eyes the rules to see if something fits my situation, i connect back and whisp an admin to ask why i got kicked, and get ban 3H. before i can respond saying : "you didn't read the rules that will be 3h" ????

Why you think you should be unbanned/have ban reduced: Why should you get this opportunity ?
Because i didn't got an opportunity to understand in the first place, we did not even got to talk to tell me what i did wrong and after reading the rules i still don't know. Was i supposed to leave a man i believe is stealing our stuff after intentionnally leaving us there to die ? (yes admin told me it was not him, but how could i know ?

Extra Notes: I just want to add that i really don't understand this admin's way of not even trying to ennounciate what went wrong or teach about the rule i apparently broke. I think i have been respectful just trying to explain my view and trying to cummunicate so why have i been met with such hostility ?

Now that the admin told me it was a dead guy i can see it and i understand why he thought i was hitting dead bodies, but why not explain and listen to my side ?

The ban reason is as follows:

Trying to gib players bodies outside an asteroid event

So i just gonna quickly hear your side as i log dive. But were the bodies fighting back in anyway? Where they standing or laying down? What did you observe?

So there was 2 bodies

1 my mate which i dragged to my ship

the other was laying down, as this is my first trip in space and Marley was teaching me, i didn't knew he was a body

i should have known that someone horizontal doesn't mean that my ship i oriented side ways

and i did not hit my friend

when we were inside teh "compound" we found on an asteroid

i even been carefull not to shoot at people whe nwe were PvEing

i really just got out of a situation a group of 3 players put us in

he was idle i thought he was looting

and when i tried explaining that i got kicked

then rejoined to ask why i had been kicked

and got banned

How do i not redo a mistake i don't know i did

I got a screen of rules, i didn't see something related to my situation

Ok i understand the confusion. From what it seems you were hitting a body. and gibbing a body is pretty severe. You have quite a few hours allready. I do suggest you give the rules a reread and if still in doubt to find a crew to hang with to get more of a idea and dont hesitate to LOOC ask questions rules related.

I will be accepting this ban appeal and you will be allowed to join the servers in a few minuites. A new shift has started allready as a fyi.

most of my hours are janitor and mailman, this was my first session out of frontier or cressent so it was really my first time out in space

I will read the rules again but what i see could fit here is :
Hostile forces that are known, declared, and confirmed, may be considered 'belligerent', boarded non-conventionally, and have their systems disabled in attempts to bring them to justice. All suspects taken alive must be adequately cared for and unharmed according to Space Law.
But at the same time i thought they left us to die which is also going against rules
