I am using Axiom on my build server and everything works fine but the flight speed slider is grayed out. I know I don't have any other mods that interfere with the fly speed behavior. Does anyone have any solution for that. Do I need another plugin on the server or is this a bug in the axiom paper plugin or mod? I also tested it in single player and there it works without any issues.

you dont have the permission to use the flight speed slider on that server
I am operator on the server and I also tried it with LuckPerms and '*' permission. Allow flight is also set to true in server.properties
give yourself the axiom.all permission
assigned but still grayed out slider
try relogging
I did
send a screenshot of your current permissions
and you are in the defaults group?
Id also refer from giving the default group the axiom.all permission

https://cdn.dergrosehd.de/u/LCXNT4Cl9.png it is a permission node
are you in the default group?
are you using a custom client?
I am using LabyMod but they doesn't manipulate fly behavior
you dont have an issue with changing the flight speed itself but rather with permissions
try without laby
you also cant create display entities
you are lacking permission or your custom client is messing with it
yeah because I disabled it for the server
disabled what?
where did you disable display entities?
show all permissions that apply to you
Yes labymod is known to break the packets for some reason
ok but why does labymod differ between single player and multiplayer because in single player everything works fine
you dont use luckperms in singleplayer
And also with no luckperms on the server installed I right installed it because it wasn't working
Ask them, but I doubt they would know why their client is broken either
It used to be even more broken where Axiom wouldnt load at all
So it's interesting that its now partially loading
I'll mention it to LabyMod. But why is it even not working in vanilla without any third party client?
Ok if it's not working in vanilla then its a separate issue
