how does that work
you make a selection and use the autoshade operation
it might work if you place your light source here
its not made for creating gradients on a flat surface tho
okay i honestly didnt understand the tool how do i set the gradient or light blocks ?

SUPPLEMENTARY RE...
thank u
okay i tried arounda bit and the best result i got was this.
so this isnt it
how would u gow about what i am trying to achieve ?
Id try placing the light source pretty low behind the shore to the top left
this way the shore in theory would cast a long shadow youd map the blocks to
not much better
any other tool i could try to use ?
Id give up then
I might try to paint blocks closer to the shore with placeholder blocks and have multiple layers to paint each of them with their own gradient
