Limb tool (or subtool under modify) that works by first selecting a set of blocks using magic select (similarly to how modify requires you to select blocks with magic select first). This tool would let you move around a selected set of blocks and rotate it as well as remember that selection until you delete it from the list of "limbs" that you have created.

My idea behind this tool is that you would be able to move around sections of a build with significant ease. This would beat having to meticulously magic select every block type or making several box selections which would be annoying for organic builds. Instead of having to reselect a portion of a build that you've decided better fits elsewhere, you would have saved sections of the build into "limbs" to move around whenever you please. I should also mention that these limbs should have a gizmo that you can move freely and lock and the selection of blocks would rotate around and move with that gizmo being the parent object controlling it hence why I call it limb tool.

Only example i can think of regarding this is when you've made a hand and you want to give it a very specific pose with the fingers. Normally you'd have to use something like the path tool to redo the fingers to fit the pose. With the limb tool you can just bind certain parts of the finger to gizmos to rotate and move the finger as much as you need until its perfect!

This tool should also be able to bind gizmos to different gizmos like parent objects so that if gizmo x moves and rotates then gizmo y should move and rotate with gizmo x. This should hopefully make the example I gave with the hand make more sense.

You could also animate objects with this! This is admittedly a pretty small niche but I believe thats because of how annoying it is to do manually. But i believe this tool would make it much easier and more accessible for someone if they wanted to try simple animations in Minecraft. It would add an additional dimension to Minecraft art!

I think there was a plugin that did this a whole ago and the organics builders didn't really like it

#

The other problem is that you kinda lose info each time you try to rotate because it'd get rounded to the block grid if you rotate at a non-90 degree angle

#

The difference between the path tool is that the path tool can actually generate the blocks from scratch when you move it, whereas this tool would need to approximate it based on the existing blocks
