Installing Java

You will need to install java to install fabric on mac or linux, see below on how to do so:

1. Download the Java 8 Installer from: https://java.com/

2. Open the installer and follow the wizard instructions.

Installing Fabric

You will need to install fabric to use Axiom, see below on how to do so:

1. Download the fabric installer from <https://fabricmc.net/use/installer/> on mac and linux this requires java, on windows it does not

2. Open the installer and click install

‎

3. There should now be a fabric profile in your Minecraft launcher

Should look something like this

4. If you dont see this profile in your launcher: go to the installations tab, click new installation, select the version release fabric-loader-0.xx.xx-current mc version.

5. If you are on an arm mac (m1, m2) currently you have to go to Settings (on the left) and untick Use Arm64 Java Runtime for Minecraft: Java Edition

6. Once you are done, run this new installation that you just created. Once it reaches the title screen close it for now.

Downloading the Fabric API

The Fabric API is required for Axiom to work.

1. Download Fabric API

The latest release can be found at https://modrinth.com/mod/fabric-api/versions
Your browser may say it may harm your computer, click allow anyways as all java files will be suspect to this from the Windows firewall.

Installing the Axiom Mod

1. Download the latest mod release

The latest release can be found at https://axiom.moulberry.com/download
Your browser may say it may harm your computer, click allow anyways as all java files will be suspect to this from the Windows firewall.

2. Locate your Minecraft Folder

Windows:
Hit Windows Key + R and type in %appdata%. Open the .minecraft folder.

Mac:
On the bar at the top of your screen in Finder, click Go, then click Go to Folder and type ~/Library/Application Support/Minecraft, then hit enter.
