after updating the servers axiom version to the newest one released yesterday, joining with the v5 mod cause constant freezing (not crashing) very shortly after connecting which leads to being kicked for exceeding the packet rate limit. there isnt anything going on in the client side logs so i assume its an issue with the plugin

it tells me which mods you have installed
or if you are using a custom client etc
which can cause issues without throwing errors into the log

im using prism launcher with fabric 17.2, i tried turning the rest of my mods off and still had the same thing

axiom doesnt need a specific java installation, well 21 for mc
just send them as files

For now lets just do the easy fix
Go into .minecraft/config/axiom and delete the history folder

Its complicated but basically some stuff changed in 5.0 for supporting structure voids, but because of that change old history has to be converted
And converting all of the old history makes your game freeze if you have a lot
