@pure olive uploaded a log, Axiom version 4.4.2 for 1.21.1 | Server Version: Paper 1.21.1
I get the screenshotted error message when I try to type replace a certain area of a build with slab, stairs, fence, gate made of some type of wood. It replaces correctly if I choose a type of wood, but crashes / getting kicked if I choose e.g. stone/other materials.

When I have other mods installed my game crashes in these scenarios, otherwise I'm getting kicked from the server, don't know the crash report is helpful here too because of this or not, but I'll attach it just in case.

  • Fabric 0.16.9 on 1.21.1 using 25 mods

Possible Solutions:

  • Update Fabric from 0.16.9 to 0.16.10

Recommendations:

  • Unless you know what you're doing, modifying your JVM args could have unintended side effects. It's best to use the defaults.
  • Update Continuity from 3.0.0-beta.5 to 3.0.0
  • Update Dynamic Fps from 3.7.6 to 3.7.7
  • Update Fabric API from 0.109.0 to 0.114.0
  • Update Immediatelyfast from 1.3.2 to 1.3.3
  • Update Iris from 1.7.3 to 1.8.1
  • Update Lithium from 0.14.2-snapshot to 0.14.3
  • Update Modmenu from 11.0.2 to 11.0.3
  • Update Sodium from 0.5.11 to 0.6.5

I tried it with only Axiom & Fabric API, that time I got kicked (the type replace didn't compute either)

send the crash from just Axiom and fabricAPI

pure olive

There's no crash with that, in that way I get kicked from the server with this error

#

I tried it with 4.3.3 for 1.21.1, same error

Paper 1.21.1 - 132

pure olive
# visual dirge try without viaversion

ViaVersion is installed on the server, but I'm using the same version in my client, so it's not switching to ViaVersion support iguess. Should I try anyway?

Not 4.4.2

pure olive
#

Yea, I tried it with 4.3.3

#

I got the same error with 4.3.3 and 4.4.2

#

Just in case I tested it with another version too, same error.

Its probably doing something weird because of the stairs

#

I guess a null is being put into the palette

#

Which type replace are you using exactly

pure olive

As an example

If I should provide any other information/test, let me know

I tested it and last version where it functioned correctly was Axiom 4.2.0 on 1.21.1 where I downgraded the AxiomPaperPlugin to 4.0.1

I tested it in singleplayer, version 4.2.0 seemed fine here too, 4.3.3 (the one in the video) was the first one where something like this happened. I did type replace, it didn't replaced anything, but when I quit & rejoined it did replace parts of the selection. While in multiplayer, you get kicked and nothing replaces.

Should I open a ticket for it in #1140297564978155561 , or it's good here?

Make a quick post in bug reports yeah
