@peak acorn uploaded a log, how to fit it without deleting axiom?
forge 1.20.1
47.3.10 and 47.3.12 don't work (log from .10)

  • Forge 47.3.10 on 1.20.1

Possible Solutions:

  • Update Forge from 47.3.10 to 47.3.12

Recommendations:

  • Unless you know what you're doing, modifying your JVM args could have unintended side effects. It's best to use the defaults.

You were already told forge is not officially supported and given a possible solution

#

Try changing axiom version

peak acorn
#

doesn't work :(

#

I gonna try some other things that could cause it

golden nimbus
#

Try installing inter-medium.ttf font on your pc idk

#

Does axiom work when you use fabric?

#

Can't help more like that

peak acorn
#

I can only download .otf

#

no ttf

lone knot
#

download them from google fonts

#

custom fonts work btw

peak acorn
#

I did

#

still doesn't work

#

😭

lone knot
#

send the font file that you used to load the font from your tool options

golden nimbus
#

If it would also crash using fabric there could be something we could do, but you're on your own

lone knot
#

that was an issue with 4.1.1 on fabric as well iirc
use a custom ttf file

#

get a ttf

peak acorn
#

wdym custom

#

you want me to make a font?

lone knot
peak acorn
#

it's inter

#

crash log says inter-medium.ttf

lone knot
#

there are various font files in that package

#

you dont need to get inter medium specifically

#

download any font is what I mean by custom font

peak acorn
#

I already have it

#

średnia = medium

lone knot
#

try loading them from a separate folder
I guess this is in the windows folder for fonts
and make sure its a ttf file

#

make a folder on your Desktop, throw in a ttf file and load it from the tool options

peak acorn
#

still

#

doesn't

#

work

#

I don't know what I could do more to fix it

golden nimbus
#

Try using fabric

peak acorn
#

💀

#

90% mods are for forge

golden nimbus
#

That's a gross overstatement

peak acorn
#

my modpack's mods

#

not ALL mods

lone knot
#

dictate all the steps you make in detail when loading the font

#

like which file type in what folder

peak acorn
#

Zainstaluj = Install

lone knot
#

ok click the font > ctrl + c > go to your downloads folder > ctrl + v > open the tool options of the text tool in minecraft > press "load font" > choose the .ttf file in your downloads folder

peak acorn
#

oh, you mean in mc

lone knot
#

half of it on your pc, half of it in minecraft

lone knot
#

those are the tool options

#

uncheck "Use Builtin Font"

peak acorn
#

but, I can't run mc

#

it's crashing

#

that is the problem

lone knot
#

is it crashing immediately?

peak acorn
#

you would see it if Fire didn't delete my message

peak acorn
lone knot
#

downgrade axiom

peak acorn
#

I already did

#

4 times

#

the same thing

#

tested these

lone knot
#

what your current version in use?

#

4.1.1?

peak acorn
#

yes

lone knot
#

try using 4.1.0 and send the latest crash report after

#

all the crash reports above have 4.1.1 installed

peak acorn
#

this is 4.1.0

lone knot
#

try deleting this folder
minecraft\config\axiom

#

and launch again

peak acorn
#

this one?

lone knot
#

yes

peak acorn
#

(here are my mods, if you want to check)

peak acorn
lone knot
#

no
it will reset axiom

peak acorn
#

k

#

lone knot

lone knot
#

and it crashes before it loads into the main menu?

peak acorn
#

ye

golden nimbus
#

Btw this is a recurring forge specific issue

lone knot
#

try with just axiom installed

lone knot
golden nimbus
#

Look font in this channel, there's mostly forge users

golden nimbus
lone knot
#

I dont trust discord search
it stinks

peak acorn
#

I mean, it DID work, but I updated different mod and it started crashing
People on mod's server said it's axiom problem

#

I probably should have said that earlier

golden nimbus
#

That's the risk of running a fabric mod on forge. Others with this issues said they had to have specific connector mod and forge fabric api mod with very specific versions or else it broke

lone knot
#

I give up
I want to do smth productive
forge isn't supported

peak acorn
#

😭

lone knot
#

try with only axiom installed is my last call

peak acorn
#

ok I fixed it

#

completely different thing

#

but still thanks for patience

lone knot
#

what was the fix

peak acorn
#

I deleted 1 mod

#

not related to axiom or the "mod" I mentioned earlier

wide ridge
peak acorn
#

I deleted different mod that was broken

wide ridge
#

How did you figure out which one. I'm in the same shoe that you were.

peak acorn
#

I added 2 mods

#

It was crashing

#

So I disabled 1 of them

wide ridge
#

ahhh I see. So Basically. Delete time. It use to work for me to then bam, stop today.

#

And I did download a few mods. So trail and error situation then. Thank you.

peak acorn
#

Yes, that's basically the easiest way

#

It takes some time, but I believe it will be worth it

wide ridge
#

Found it!

peak acorn
#

Great

wide ridge
#

It was one of the newer mods from team abnormals. Jusst going to say that just in case someone else runs into the issue.

#

Thank you!

peak acorn
#

No problem, I'm glad I could help

remote ridge
#

Hey there. Currently having a similar issue, although this time it's persistent. Any chance you could point me to the troublesome mod?

thorn crestBOT
#

@remote ridge uploaded a log, Is there anything that can be read from this crash log?
