#Lanterns dont work with force place

Just as the title says, lanterns cant be force placed. I tried to place them on leaves with force place turned on and nothing happened, just as if i hadnt turned on force place. using replace mode on the block above also dindt work.

I'm sure they can figure out other ways of getting it to place, its just that force place didnt work
