In this puzzle platformer where you have to help a cute little green dude
switch off some kind of "evil" mechanism. The "power off switch" is hidden
somewhere in high towers. On your way to the target you need to avoid a lot of
strange robots that guard the tower.

That sounds all like a normal jump and run game. What makes this game different
is that you walk around the tower which is revolving on the screen, so that you
only see the 180° that are currently visible.

The game is a reimplementation of the old game known as Tower Toppler or Nebulus.
At its time it was ported available for a lot of different platforms like PC,
Atari, C64. The author was J.M.Phillips and was published by Hewson software.

just tried it on my 353M with Arkos and it works perfect also smoother than the 351 so i reckon the 351 isnt full speed though still playable

yep i dont play on my 351M anymore just use it for OS stuff my 353M is my main driver such a nice device IMO

before the score menu comes up, it tries to get an env variable of "LOGNAME" which maybe JELOS does not have? I hard coded it to "player" for now but maybe we can user USER instead

apologies on the delay, the new version works correctly, after losing last life now goes to entering name for score, then back to in game menu as expected.

Thanks. I think I'll just leave the name as player. It makes sense for real desktops to default to user but for these handhelds it's just going to be root or ark or whatever they set it to
