2. The power of integration: What makes the RP experience on MyShell so special is the ability to generate images or videos within the conversation, making everything come alive. This is MyShell's true unique selling point.

Please note, many other great AI tools were not originally designed for roleplaying, but it was the community's creativity that repurposed and perfected them for that use. The users will define the tool.

I disagree, this is not a disappointment but a scaam. I came from CARV based on an event that is not even halfway through yet. I bought the required SHELL, and it wasn't cheap. I spent several days getting to know the platform, started creating agents, and now I can't even try them out. Will we have to pay protection money again in a few days when vote phase starting?

They've been sabotaging text bots ever since a certain developer came in, first Bobo rerouted all classic bots to use Deepseek instead of Claude to cut on costs, they removed pro config mode by making it unusable for the average user and now they removed the free tier. Its clear all of these are cost cutting measures to please investors.

If they actually cared about users they would've at least let pro config mode stay and stopped cutting on costs by not redirecting bot traffic to Deepseek.

I honestly don't care much about them making the service paid if only they delivered on what you're paying for that actually works.

In fact I would've been fine with MyShell becoming commercialized if they kept all the features that made it special.

Heck, they even removed the delete chat history button that used to exist but no longer does.
