We've been brainstorming ways to improve the AIpp Store and make it even better.

Learning from our past experiences, where major updates were implemented without prior community input, this time before making any decisions, we'd love to hear your thoughts!

Here are a few things we're pondering:

1. About wash trading 🔄

In September, we reduced transaction fees from 5% to 1%, which significantly increased both the number and volume of trades.
However, this led to an unintended consequence: a high proportion of wash trading.

As MyShell has always encouraged Shellz to explore organically, we're looking to increase the cost of wash trading to deter such practices at the source.

We're wondering if adjusting transaction fees might help solve this issue while also increasing fee revenue to support our creator incentive program. But we're concerned this might affect normal trading. What do you think?

2. Supporting quality AIpp --- Share Buyback? 💰

We're always looking for better ways to support our excellent creators who produce high-quality AIpps.

What fun gamification mechanics do you think we could introduce to achieve this goal?
For instance, someone suggested that we can feature an AIpp buyback mechanism to incentivize long-term holding.

1. Normal trading?

• We need to define** 'What is normal trading?' **first. Currently Aipp is no more than pump and dump meme coin.
  • While wash trader wants a fee-derived point (=Shell coin) earnings, what the team wants to define as** Normal trading ** is a trading based on **trading for price rising/declining **, which is similar to pump and dump meme-coin mechanism.
  • Increasing trading fee causes hardness to "Pump and dump" thus making people harder to get benifits exceeding the trading fee.
  • However, current Aipp market full of trash Aipps makes new traders get dumped by mallicious creators and get dumped, eventually to get out of the market. if current trading fee is kept, More people will tend to dump right after anyone else buys 1 share. (You can calculate the share-cost table for the break even point when buying the share, related to the fee.)

2. Want no wash trading?

• The reason why wash trading happens is simple, and I have pointed out numerous times. It happens naturally when the team gives out points by total trading volume. The team has provided incentive for tradings, so be it.
  • Is it bad? Well, at least they give out some trading fees and feeds cash to the team... but nothing else.
• The simplest way to get rid of wash trading is simply not giving out points by trading, but I am not really confident if it is a good answer; it will cost the team some trading fee earnings.
• Nevertheless, if the team really wants people to actively search out for good Aipp and explore the world of Aipp, simply providing more points for good Aipps instead will be an easy answer.
  • Current "Jackpot" is One time provided (does not really affect Aipp's price) + 1/6 chance + Way too small amount + Only 6 candidiates (where there are hundreds of Aipps), which is too small incentive for the traders to move.

• I almost forgot. Pigeon is right. No HODL, no price increase. Focusing on trading is same with losing the possible market cap.
• Trading is made when market / the stock's value is volatile. It can not/Should not be made with incentives. So, very simple, make the Aipp's natural value vary with external events. (ex> volatile points/incentives for holders.) Why wash trade? Because, currently there is no volatility to value and the team rewards trading itself.

3. Alternative ideas?

• might **provide points for "Profits & Losses" **on Aipp trading, to provoke people more aggressive trading. Still, AIpp is just a meme coin, so people will have no criteria but only "Hype" for trading, so radical problem will not be solved.
• A creator event where** Aipp holders also get rewarded** could be considered. The expectation will be in the share price during the event season.

For all those of ideas, if it is a small portion like a Jackpot, it will never trigger any traders to change out their behavior.

I’m not sure where the previous AIpp feedback thread went, but I think it would be a good idea to open a separate thread to share opinions on this.

First of all, what comes to my mind is that many users have been saying there are no rewards for AIpp holders.
Of course, there may be profits from trading, but as you mentioned above, since only wash trading is happening, the value of holding an AIpp is less than just making a few trades, which carries less risk.
If you plan to increase the fees, it would be great to have rewards for AIpp holders. (The lucky star holding rewards are too small and based on luck.)

A system similar to the previous Patron Badge, where users receive points for holding an AIpp and the usage of that AIpp is high, would encourage users to hold and explore better bots.
The previous Patron Badge operated with Shellcoin, and since creators could switch their bots privately, everything was returned, making it risk-free, which led to a lot of abuse and manipulation of rankings with bots.
If the Patron Badge system were introduced into the current AIpp system, using cash in BNB, and if points for AIpp usage were distributed to users based on the amount held for AIpps created by Creator Pass or MySoul holders, it could reduce abuse and bot activities.

This is just my thought, and I’m sharing what came to mind as soon as I read your message, so it might be a bit disorganized.

Looking at the feedback, I know there have been numerous AIpp feedbacks from users.
I will gather and organize that information and share it with you again.

For HODL reward, aipps could be categorized into different tiers suck as non-creator aipps, creator aipps, and even during the recommendation period, besides Luckystar, holders get double point reward for example.
Not suggesting increase trading fees again as if HODL gets rewarded, wash trade won't be a major problem anymore. Increased trading fee wud discourage trades.

The current design of AIpp doesn't answer one question: What benefits can holding AIpp shares bring to me? What can it bring to creators?

I hold Meme coins because I value their popularity, which attracts potential buyers, thus driving up their price. Meme coins, through long-term market manipulation and the previous round of Musk's involvement with Doge, have led the market to build a consensus that holding memes can be profitable.

The market lacks consensus on holding AIpp, namely, what benefits can holding AIpp bring to me? What can it bring to creators? Currently, the overall design of myshell is points-oriented.

The issue of wash trading is irrelevant. It exists because there's no better path to obtain points. Theoretically, simple quick buying and selling should be the highest cost way to obtain points in the entire system, but it's currently the only path, which is why wash trading has become a problem.

Introducing a new positive flywheel of mutual incentives between holding shares and using bots would naturally make wash trading disappear.
Do NOT limit sale shares, because it will kill AIpp, just give extra benefit to holder and buyer.

For example, here's my concept:
Holding AIpp could allow you to gain points generated when it's used (such as add a new points, chatting points, it created same as creator point, but just share for AIpp shares holder). At the same time, Shares will give chatting points a bonus. the more total shares of AIpp sold, the greater the bonus for chatting points produced by bot chats.

Further reducing transaction fees (e.g., 0.05% fee), after buying AIpp shares, not only would you get points for buying, but you'd also continuously earn points for holding. However, holding points would decay over time. After decaying to zero, selling and rebuying would allow you to regain points. But the longer you hold, the higher the chat point incentive it would bring to AIpp. When holding shares no longer produces holding points, the chat point incentive would become 2.5 times the original. Each purchase of shares would independently calculate its chat incentive.

The basic AIpp share holding points reward is calculated by: (creator update frequency + number of users using the bot) * purchase share price. That is, it encourages creators to continuously update AIpp and encourages more users to buy expensive shares.

That is:
Buying and holding shares would yield: transaction points + continuously decaying holding points + increasing share of chat points
Buying and immediately selling shares would yield: transaction points

The share of chat points would be diluted as more shares are sold, but it would bring more point bonuses.

I'd prefer the team to explore rule designs beyond point incentives. For example, the highest shareholder could have community events organized around them, or even expect other methods.

1. Through our jackpot system, we've effectively addressed the issue of Aipp farmers gaining trading volume rewards for useless, prompt-less bots. You can see this reflected in the dramatic drop in new AIpp releases this month (last month, about 99% of new AIpp releases were useless bots). This is because Aipp farmers realized such behavior yields no returns, so we've successfully eliminated the incentive for these practices at the source.

2. The so-called "wash trading" we're now seeing is concentrated on top-performing or high-quality bots, involving high-frequency buy-and-sell transactions. Unlike the previous issue, it's more challenging to exclude these trades through the jackpot system. I agree with Faskety wash trading isn't necessarily a critical issue that must be resolved immediately. However, I'm still considering how we can reduce the proportion of these trades and increase organic trading.

Why we think raise trading fee (won't back to 5%) may help

According to our data, organic trading hasn't significantly increased with the lower transaction fees. Instead, the proportion of wash trades has greatly increased due to reduced costs. Since the fee level doesn't seem to affect normal trading intentions, we believe that increasing fee might be a solution.

Based on last month's trading data, we'll be distributing over a dozen BNB to highly active and contributing creators in our community within next week. Increasing fees could also further enhance the profit-sharing for creators.

This is because rewarding mere holding would cause trading volume to plummet (as evidenced by the trading volume in August). The beauty of this system lies in its unpredictability. It allows players focused on long-term holding to purchase quality AIpps at lower prices, rather than having to buy at inflated prices once they hit the recommended list, potentially incurring losses. When you hold a large quantity of low-cost AIpps, you have a higher expected value from the daily draws over the long term.

(As a personal example, I hardly buy or sell, but I happened to win 200 points in a draw the other day.)

Useless bots stopped being published because nobody wants to ride on the scam boat; and people had stopped buying the "2nd share" since the innocents/dumbs learnt a lesson and left. (It might have affected a few bots up to 0.01~3BNB/share, but that's it.)

2. Again, my focus is that major premise is wrong. We need to ask Why does the wash trading happen?, Is the normal trading intentions increasing or not? and I have been answering that for most of my texts. Faskety has also mentioned that, Wash trading happens because it is the only way to earn point. In other words, currently, people don't really focus on Aipp for trading.

3. That's why, raising or not, normal trading intentions won't be increasing nor decreasing. Because it's just same as buying points with the fee.

4. So, is your goal to Increase normal trading intentions to get rid of wash tradings, or Simply get rid of wash tradings? If it is latter, increasing fee would help (although the total amount of fee won't change, transaction numbers will decrease.    Optimistically, if higher points do increase players' willingness to buy in, once the price rises to a certain level, people will say the points are few again.

Changelog:

Success Ending: the player and Misa successfully navigate back to Earth after surviving in space. It can be acheived by surviving for 45 days in space. This is the intended ending for the game.

I totally understand your feelings, but from our perspective it didn't actually damage the customization and freedom, it actually enables more, in a unified way.

I'll give you a example. Previously for many image-generation bots, showing before-after images is a hard task. Developers need to either put it all in one picture (which will make it annoyingly wide), or put it in two pictures that are hard for users to scroll. With this new update, developers will be able to do all of that.

Weird that so many people have asked about the incentive rewards, yet team has not answered a single question. I know that team said the creator incentives have changed, and it probably won't be bnb like it was before, but many, including me, are a bit worried that the incentives have been forgotten about at this point. Would be nice to hear any info from the team. I wouldn't say a confirmation that team hasn't forgot about the incentives would be enough for us, since we have heard stuff like that many times before, but just that would ease our minds.

Currently, there's a strange phenomenon occurring on the MYSHELL platform that I call "memory confusion". The situation is that a chatbot would inexplicably access another chatbot's memory/conversation history, ignore the user's current question, and provide an answer based on the wrong context. For example, if a user asks chatbot A "What's 1+1?", and then asks chatbot B to help with something else like writing program code, chatbot B might respond with "1+1=2".

I don't know the cause, and I can't reproduce it. However, I know this is a situation encountered by multiple people. I've experienced it myself, my users have reported it to me, and some other creators have also mentioned encountering it.

right now, there are things you can create effectively in proconfig, but not in shellagent, and in reverse. i don't understand why would the team not want to support proconfig, especially with stuff like removing chain of thought since it's more of a chatting/roleplay thing, while shellagent is more focused on image gen.

i know that team is putting all their recourses in shellagent right now, and (hopefully) it will soon be able to used for more complicated and customizable stuff like in proconfig, but basic updates like removing cot from deepseek would be really help keeping the creator community alive while shellagent hasn't integrated proconfig or whatever the team is doing right now

So I have been out of the Bot game for awhile, I am messing around with ProConfig as I was reading its being used to help generate better NSFW Bots, but I am not having any better luck with it then normal prompting. I think the team forgot to update the source for V3 so it's super slow and unstable. Just use r1 and read the thinking in the beginning. After you get a general taste, you can hide the thinking thing.

The only thing I realized whilst reading around with R1 is it needs a maximum of 0.6 temperature to stay consistent.

So around 0.4-0.6 temperature.

Compared to the usual 0.8 ~ 1.0 with Claude and GPT.

I felt that it would be better to set the max token limit for R1 to 2000. The temperature and top p tend to break if tampered with too much, so I settled on a fixed 0.6. This is based on my short-term experience. Users (probably the team too) would be happier with lower costs, and I'd like to bring it to practical use. LOL

I finally found out the cause for the claude dementia bug, but the myshell's claude context window HAS to be lower than 200k tokens. It would be really nice if team was honest about it and told us the context window size, although I highly doubt that
