I'm having some issues with the fire rabbit line (cinderace and friends) and the move relearner in all pokecentres. When I try to relearn moves, the game decides to sh*t itself
for the megas from ZA, what did you choose for abilities since that game doesnt have abilities.
also are those megas bugged? I just tested chandelure and his base stats didnt change

This is pretty cool, if it still kept some of the schooling fish and blended/separated off the little wishiwashi fish OR they came from it's MOUTH that would be perfect haha so it still looks like it's being "held together" by 1000s of fish.
Same with this one, the colouring is perfect, it just IMO needs to look a little more "held together" by fish and keep park of that almost ghostly, terror from the deep sort form it has 😁.
Love that, almost perfect, what about...the schooling forms big heads/mouths for its left and right tentacle arms with the eyes as well slightly askew? That would be boss 😁

Does overqwil have any fusion sprites? i’m building a rain team and none of the fusions I try have any sprites with them
None of the non PIF mons have fusion sprites since they're all made by individuals

So there are a lot of signature moves showing up as randomized tm’s. Are there any other Pokemon that can learn them besides the Pokemon the moves are normally on? For example I have found:
dragon darts
Floaty fall
Splishy splash
Freezy frost
Fiery wrath
Behemoth bash
Dragon energy
Yeah so basically , I've taken every new move , made them into TMs
as they are only learnable by like 1 Poke
i dont even know if they can learn it by TMs
but the automation script for it picked them up and put them in TMs anyway
this is fixed in the upcoming update

- Fixed blurry Pokémon sprites and items sprite size (mainly mega stones)
- Fixed Mega stones description not appearing without Multiplayer
- Fixed Mega stones sprites (for existing stones)
- Added Megastones as Epic Boss drops (Multiplayer mod)
- Added new TMs as Rare boss drops (Multiplayer mod)
- You now get a Mega Ring , Bracelet , Necklace or Cuffs when opening your bag for the first time , letting you Mega evolve Pokémons
- Removed Signature moves TMs (they can no longer generate, feel free to toss the old ones out)
- .pak-ed sprites should now all be 288x288 pixels
- Battle Factory now has new moves available for selection

Windows users : Download the .bat , put it in the game's root directory (next to Data , Graphics , Audio , Game.exe...) and double click it
Linux users : Download the .sh, put it in the game's root directory (next to Data , Graphics , Audio , Game.exe...) and double click it
Highly recommend everyone to delete the "990_NPT" folder inside of "Data/Scripts" and then go into the game and update it through the Mod Manager to download the new unblurred sprites

How do I install version 4.0? The mod manager tells me the latest version is 3.0, and if I delete the "990_NPT" folder, it won't let me into the mod manager.
Specifically, I get these two errors.
alright so
you have a folder called "KIF Savefiles" in the root directory
take everything in it , cut (ctrl + x) and paste them in a folder on your desktop
when your "KIF Savefiles" folder is empty , relaunch the game
watch out , the music will be loud
then simply go inside the mod manager , and make sure that when you select AFI , it says 4.0 in the terminal like Mira's

Is there a work around for installing mods on mod manager on steam deck?
Maybe i have to do it on desktop mode because game mode i dont think its opening a tab to install the new update
Would highly recommend looking into a VPN, there are ones you can use for free even if it makes your internet slower during times like that you would at least be able to access these sites.
i will look into adding steam deck compatibility , i just need to learn what is possible on it

For the Battle Factory random battles are the new tm/moves on a very encounter low rate? Haven't seen any of them pop up in selection yet
they are available for the move set ai selector
but they are weighted the same way

Sorry, so upon further testing, it seems to be an incompatibility with the Quality Assurance mod
Quality assurance also interferes with the stat checker. I just think these two mods are imcompatible at the current stage

Because i got that error from a migrated save file
Started a KIF clean save file works fine for me
I started a clean save to troubleshoot. Clean save, clean install, with only full implementation. I subsequently added mod menu with no issue. Upon adding quality assurance there is an issue, but on uninstall the issue clears. I plan on using quality assurance, only turning it off to use stat checker or to relearn cinderace moves, since these scenarios are relatively infrequent in my playthrough but quality assurance assures quality
I'll see with Stone eventually if we could fix this

What I find interesting in that no other new mon has this issue in my testing. I haven't checked every pokemon, but it is the only starter with this issue. This is hardly an inconvenience, I only bring it up for your own knowledge. I am both grateful and impressed by your work

I found a "problem." NPT Pokémon can't be used in quests where the NPC asks you to show a Pokémon from a specific region, such as Johto, Hoenn, etc.

Using 4.0 I've gone back to seeing all sorts of random invisible sprites, only un fused ones. Then sometimes if I encounter them again, they appear as normal but most of the time they always stay invisible. And yeah, i deleted everything INSIDE the battlers folder but then, fused pokes are fine, it's just a lot of seemingly random sprites, not even the ones you added. I had everything from an invisible hoothoot to an invisible froakie so I am also in the beyond confused club :\

Well oddly when I first caught it, it was the sword bro version which is fairy/steel as I'm playing the randomizer. However since V4, the sprite has changed to the standard Zacian version sprite without the sword BUT it is still fairy/steel.
So the sprite being used is 895.png instead of 1085.png ...but it has the Fairy/Steel typing instead of just Fairy.
So something between updating has either shifted the sprites, or shifted the Pokémon data around and ended up breaking the randomizer but it's odd why the one I caught WAS the Crowned Sword Fairy/Steel type but is now become the the Hero of Many Battles Fairy single type. This is all unfused of course.
Very odd...not a huge deal but the fused sprite with my Sheildon starter was much nicer as the Crowned Sword variation haha. Guess I'll just have to randomly find the item, which is fine, this seed has been crazy so far 😂
I have indeed shifted a few things
v4 made it so if a second form of a Pokémon does not exist in game
its sprites and all fused sprites with it become available on the Pokémon base form
(Darmanitan being one of them)

Just double checking, but it sounds like if I use Ghost Classic+ Combat UI, it automatically turns off EBDX visuals, but what exactly comprises EBDX visuals...so what would I be missing out on? I noticed if I manually turn EBDX visuals back on, combat opens but i can't interact/click any of the combat buttons leading to me needing to force close game...

So I just caught Xurkitree in a wild encounter, then the next wild encounter I had a script error and it crashed the game
@fossil scaffold is something going to be done about running into Paradox Pokemon that are like level 50 whenever you JUST started the game? My friend has encountered Iron Thorns twice and actually caught one with a Premier Ball 😅 Instantly leveled his starter to level 23 from a single battle

Yeah, the Ultra Beasts and Paradox pokemon should be locked behind certain badges or something, even locking them behind Johto makes sense to me tbh.
Right now though you can just walk back and forth a few times and get multiple Paradox pokemon at levels 40-50 as early as your first or second badge which is crazy haha

- Paradox/Ultra Beast do not spawn before 5th badge
- Non signature AFI moves can now be taught to any elemental type matching the move

Wasn't sure if it had something to do with this mod perhaps since it handles cusotm sprites too, but any idea why PIF spritepacks aren't importing to my KIF? I tucked the news pngs in the Sprites to import folder like usual, but am not getting the prompt on the title screen that ### of sprites have been imported...
you might have messed up your sprites doing that , as for some reason pif allowed custom sprites for pif hoenn sprites , so numbers 501 to 572 are official by pif , and afi numbering from 501-572 isnt the same at all with pif hoenn
so you loaded official pif hoenn sprites in random pokemons
it unfortunately isnt as straightforward as taking the new sprites and dropping them to the graphics subfolder
Oh dang...I didn't realize hoenn sprites were in the mix yet since still under dev...the sprites to import is still full like nothing got imported so maybe nothing got messed up? guess ill have to redo the entire sprites if they did tho...

what you could do is simply erase "CustomBattlers" subfolder
as iirc , pif custom sprites are all there
afi will still have everything in the "_paked" folders
i must find a way , like a little program that takes a pif sprites folder in input, and load them correctly to make it afi compatible :((

There's a mod download button in the mod manager and is where most people get AFI from. Issues seem to be arising from anyone that does manual installs
and with aleks working full time it's a little tough for him to pick apart better ways to get the mod workin for folks
