Speaking to this dude and asking to release the Pokemon just brings up my old party.
#Pinkan Island issues

I don't have a clip of it, and I should've taken a screenshot prior, but I've only caught one Slowpoke. I just used this Slowpoke in a fusion. I still have a Slowpoke.
Same thing happened with my Hopuff but I was like "ok maybe I was just losing it"
Made sure to log it in my head this time that I only have one Slowpoke, but didn't think to screenshot my party prior
I'll quickly find a mon to fuse and pray it dupes again just so I don't look crazy
Ok, even worse, I just captured a Slowpoke and it isn't in my PC or in my party
I guess it was like "ok time to fill the void of that duped one" even though I used the duped one in my fight
This has never happened before, only started on Pinkan
Currently reported bugs:
- PC not being blacklisted
- Fusion duplication (presumably linked to PC not being blacklisted, as every capture gets sent to my PC, regardless of party space)
- If you capture a mon that you duplicated, it ceases to exist
(If I duplicate a Slowpoke, and then catch a slowpoke, I will not gain a second slowpoke. It seemingly equalizes itself and goes "whoops! that other one was fake!") - After duplicating a mon, the next mon you capture will cease to exist.
I just caught a Clefairy after posing the Slowpoke duplication. "Clefairy has been added to your party!" Nothing there. No Clefairy. No Clefairy in my box either. Gone. Dead. - Getting the Team Rocket starter will result in the Pokemon Option being missing in your menu. You will have zero Pokemon. This leads to zero encounters, FORCING you to use your PC. Has NOT been fixed by Pickle, as it may have unforeseen issues with Rocket Mode related options

@lyric hawk I started Pinkan Island with a full party and when I received the Team Rocket starter the Pokemon option of the start menu was missing. I had zero pokemon in my party. Seems like the problem is this commit from 9 months ago about Rocket Mode, how ironic.

Specifically the usage of $PokemonGlobal.pokemonSelectionOriginalParty in this commit is the issue. But, I've never used KIF's Rocket Mode and I'm not familiar with it , so idk how to fix Pinkan without breaking Rocket Mode

Same result if you do the police route (kinda obvious, but I wanted to bump this because finishing the quest and getting ||Diancie|| is quite a struggle with its current state)
Note: becomes FAR worse if your original party isn't full. The amount of empty slots in your party before starting the quest will be the amount of Pokemon you need to catch before actually recieving any of the Pokemon you catch (as they fill up your original team, then start going to your box)

Fusing a pokemon at all will thanos snap a Pokemon from your original team out of existence
