#Special Plot - Crops Die Between Seasons?

When you get to the later game of Fae Farm you unlock special seasonal plots. This is amazing because you can plant crops for any season during any time of the year. HOWEVER when a new season starts, all your crops die still? is this intentional when using the special plots? This also happens with the fae plots even when you have fae crops in them which arent tied to ANY season?

Personally I feel like if you go to all the extra work to have the special plots and are using them when you plant your crops shouldnt matter. having them die at the beginning of each season feels incredibly punishing IMO :/

I just would like to know if this is intended to act the way it currently does or if it is going to be changed in the future?

I think it’s supposed to work this way, like you plan your crops at the starts of each season and harvest at the end.

I would assume the main reason for all crops to die is simply for those you can harvest multiple times to need to be replanted eventually.

Unsure that reworking them to die after a specific number of yields is feasible either… Of course the devs would know for sure but that’s what I think

I think part of it for me is that we have these plots specifically to be able to have seasonal crops in any season- and having the crops still die between seasons feels weird if they are in the special plots.

Yes, it is intentional, why? I have no idea. I think it sucks. Even crops that can be grown in every season die. Makes no sense. Make the beans and such die after four harvests or something, but at end of season is dumb IMO

It defeats the purpose of having seasonal plots, i feel crops should not die not unless yields has been reached.

It doesn’t? If you have spring plots you can grow spring crops all seasons? That’s the purpose

I think adding a yield limit to the other crops makes sense and then not having them die if they are in their seasonal plots 🥺
