Also, I went in the coop at bedtime and there were 7 animals in the coop. One of them couldn't find a place to sleep. I wonder if it might have something to do with the method of selling the animal. Whether taking the animal all the way back to sell or selling from the register window.

Issue: I bred one Mamoo, sold my other one so I have space. I got the baby and had my previous Mamoo at home. But, next day when I checked the blue mamoo is gone and another woolyhorn that I sold long time ago was back @.@
I'm so sad because after the patch, I wasted LOTS of charms breeding but no luck at all and after 10+ tries this baby mamoo was born. Then next day it was gone >< 💔 💔 💔

Issue: After patch 1.3.3 Chickoos and Cottontails stop producing, tried refilling the trough to full everyday since that was a temp solution to some, no success. Their moods also don't seem to change? So I haven't really taken care of them. The rest of the animals (Barn animals and Fae Pen) have no issues.

Note: I haven't done much with the animals side (just collecting their products) since there have been issues with breeding and losing them, Hopefully this gets fixed soon! Sad that a part of the game is not available to me since I need eggs and cotton.

Fixed For my issues reported: colored animals breeding as normal colour, animals not producing drops….I deleted the game and redownloaded the updates and all seems fine again. Drops are coming in and I bred a colored mamoo.

Issue: i bought a spriggan to fill up the 6th slot in my barn and was walking back to my farm to register it but the clock hit midnight and it went to the next day. now at the barn it says "slot available" but when i try to buy from the NPC he says i have no more space. there is no animal following me around and i tried to use the sell option but the NPC tells me i did not bring any animal to sell. so my barn is stuck with 5 animals and the last slot cannot be used.

I had the same problem with my coop. You can interact with them, but since they don't show up in the ledger there is no way to sell them. After a few "in real life" days the two extra disappeared for me, but unfortunately, they were the new ones that I wanted to keep and I still have two older animals that I already sold left in my coop.

Issue: despite breeding new colored animals (for example black woolly, yellow chickoo and orange spriggan) the counter on my achievement with Patel does not consistently go up.

Also, I’ve had multiple animals just disappear while breeding never to return and never produce an offspring. I’ve lost quite a few color charms this way too.

issues with breading animals as others have mentioned before. iv sold a chickoo and bread a new one yet the new one disappeared and the one I sold came back. The sold one I sold it at the coop management for it to stay sold so I could breed another chickoo and the sold one stayed sold I had to take it to the person for the chickroo for it to stay sold and to stop me losing the new one
also iv notice that my Cottontail s and chickoo have stop producing completey they get feed everday they also get petted everyday and if its not raining they go out for fresh air. its showing that they have eaten but iv checked the trough where I have put 10x food in for them and it's not going anywhere yet the symbol that's for there feed is saying they have fed

Yes, I had the same issue with the new one dissappearing and being replaced by the old one. I never had the problem until I discovered the sell in ledger button. I am hoping that if I go back to selling with Earline, that it will start working again.

same here it seems to only be happening when you sell in ledger thing cause I took the chickoo to Earline and it stayed sold this time so it's seems to be something with coop management thing but thank you for your reply and letting me know I'm not the only one

i have this issue as well. i walk far enough away and then go back up to an animal and walk back away to make it disappear, that might also work for you so you don't have to restart the game

Animals wouldn’t breed at all with or without a colour charm until I cleared 1 slot, then it worked every time. Before I could have a full barn without issue and just make space at the time when I got the baby.

Animals will sometimes be renamed without me choosing to do this….

I managed to breed coloured animals and put them in the barns. Then after saving my game and coming back the following day the coloured animals were gone, replaced with normal base colour animals with random names I didn’t choose. This has happened with 4 coloured bred animals so far 😔
In fact one switched from the cottontail to the chicken, so not even the same animal.

Animals wouldn’t produce items / materials despite max happiness, food in the trough and fresh air. Managed to fix this by removing all food for every animal and then adding it back, they would produce the following day. But the glitch has occurred a few times now

I’m not breeding colours for now as it’s a bit costly when they just disappear from my game.

Issue: I can no longer breed chickens, they stay in the breeding pen for a few days but then reappear in the coop with no baby at the breeder. Now I also can't buy chickens. It takes my money but no animal appears. I have not yet tried to see if it's the same with other animals because I'm tired of wasting money and breeding items.

That is in addition to the listed issues above, sold animals reappearing and random animals disappearing to make room for them, half the time can't shear sheep or milk cows.

Some serious bugs that I discovered (all on NSwitch):

1. Animal Rename Option:

Doesn't seem to work on my current save file. I can hit the rename button, type a new name for my animal and then confirm but it won't change its name.
I gave an animal the same name another one had by accident and that caused the other animal to automatically rename itself to a random name. Tried to fix it but as mentioned above, cannot rename my animal. The only workaround appears to be to sell it and then rebuy with the option to give the animal its first name. Very annoying.

2. Animal petting issue:

The tooltip that shows the buttons to press for petting once you look to an animal is inconsistent and has quite some "clipping" issues.
Petting animal then looking to another one that is close by pressing the petting button will result in petting the previous animal that you already did. The target area for petting is kind of messed up.
Another issue that sometimes happens is when you have the tooltip shown on screen leaving the ledger, the tooltip sometimes remains stuck on the screen unable yo use the buttons that the tooltip shows (This appears to be related to the loading screen, as it gets stuck if the tooltip still shows when you leave the ledger during loading screen)
You then either have to go back to the ledger and look to an animal, or reload the game to fix it.

iv already posted about issue with animal not producing. iv had to sell all the cocktails and chickoo just so I could get eggs and cotten and at the moment it has worked but I'm not going to keep selling my animal just so I can get produce from them but i now have a new issue mu coop where the chickoo and cottentails live are not full I have space iv have sent one of my chickoo to breed and it hasn't returned and there is no baby iv checked my coop manager and it is still showing that the chickoo is still breeding yet I have gone to Loretta to check cause the day have passed and my chickoo should have returned home yet the breeding bed thing is empty no baby and my chickoo isn't there and he isn't back home.
it will allow me to still breed another chickoo but where is the one I have already been breeding. Loretta has lots my chickoo

I think it is best to not use the animal breeding until this issue is fixed, as it appears that animals disappearing is somewhat to be related with the breeding code.

Check the stall to the left of Jeremiah and behind Patel, that's where mamoo and woolyhorn end up if they aren't registered by end of day. The stall is not the same as a slot in the barn.

When buying fae animals it take my 400 money but the naming screen never shows up and i dont get the animal.

All animals dont breed. And the cottontails and chickoo stop producing.

If i sell an animal off. The next time we start the game, random animals that we have sold appear back in the barns. Sometime there is 6 animals in the 1st and 2nd barn.

Issue: Stuck on final Patel Animal Breeding Achievement, is stuck on 10/20, despite successful breeding of different and new colours, it won't go above 10. Also breeding charms sometimes work on animals, but I've never been able to change colour of the cottontail, will always be default. May be extremely bad luck, but I've tried so many times now. Also despite selling chickoos to make space, they are still hanging around my farm! (restarting etc makes no difference)

So. I’ve been taking screenshots every time I sell an animal because animals I’ve sold keep replacing animals I haven’t. It was only mildly annoying until my Joyous Grey Woolyhorn was replaced by its cheery normal parent. I have the screen shots of my selling the parent and the barn roster right after I made the sell. The child was still on my roster but I logged in the next day to find the parent and not the child. I have a screen shot of the current roster. I’m so sad I lost my only successful color charm on non-fae animals.

Issue: Like others, my animals are getting replaced by old sold animals. I have bred a chickoo once, registered it, only for it to disappear and get replaced by its sold parent the next day. This is about to happen with my Cottontail baby, it’s not showing in the list of registered animals despite registering it yet the parent I sold is. If I select a parent that was sold and have it follow me it will show up on the map & therefore it’s possible to have 7 animals instead of 6, temporarily, as I am currently doing live lol.

Additionally, sometimes when an animal is breeding it just DISAPPEARS from the breeding place. If I've used a charm I don't get that charm back. The animal appears back in the barn/coup but did not produce any offspring.

Issue: chickcoo and cottontails have stop producing and I don't want to sell them if I can fix it. I stop looking after them a for a couple of days in real time/ a few seasons in game time, to focus on my Barn and fae Barn and now I start looking after them again and now I'm getting nothing 😭 evidence: first pic is day before in game and the second pic is the currently day I'm playing on now in game.

I have already redownload the game. But nothing has changed. I may of fix it but I will have to wait and see before I shared.

I'm back, to say my idea didn't work but I think it's something to so with the Auto feed trough, I have food in there and it's says that the chickoo and cottontails have been feed but the feed inside it is still at 10. So its maybe something with their trough.

This happens frequently. I'll finish up with an animal (brushing and petting) and I'll go to the next one, but the one I was previously attending to flies halfway across the room and takes the place of the animal I was trying to attend to. So I jumped out of the area hoping it would reset. It didn't as you can see in the picture.

Also, there's something funny about the animals coming out of the barn. In certain places, everything you do is ignored and the next day they don't produce anything. They stay in the barn if you go in immediately, but if you spend any time outside the barn they come pouring out and then when you try to attend to them, nothing counts. I've had like 2 out of the 6 work, but I think it was the first two that came out the door. The other four produced nothing the next day even though they were attended to.

NOTE: I have an extensive garden on the land near my barn while I'm trying to get all the flowers bred. I don't know if that's why it's not counting; because it seems like the ones that don't produce the next day are either too near the trees on the land or are walking over my garden plots.

Issue: I have a baby chicaboo living on my farm without being registered, without being able to feed it and without being able to sell it, breed it, or get rid of it in any way (since without being registered I can't make him follow me or anything else). I got to this situation after selling one of my 3 chicaboos (to have space in the pen) and mating another chicaboo. The sold chicaboo reappeared in the corral so I sold it again a couple of times. When I went to pick up the baby chicaboo I registered it correctly in the corral, but the next day the one that was registered was the sold chicaboo and the baby chicaboo was living there without registration. I finally managed to get rid of the sold chicaboo, but the baby keeps living there blocked without register.

Spriggan comes back from breeding after third day without breeding. I cannot breed.

1. My new little fairy rabbit went to go breed, but came back and there’s no baby Fae rabbit. And I used a color charm and the mats for those are still hard to get to, too. 2. My mama cow goes to have a baby calf and come back, but no calf. Or the calf shows up but the next day she’s missing from the barn and I have 4 goats again.

They announced that there's a patch coming sometime next week. It is supposed to address animal issues and a bunch of other things. Maybe it's best to stop breeding animals and wasting charms until the next patch.

You might need to pick up your baby at the breeder. They are usually waiting on the hay bed. Once you interact with them you can lead them to their new home.

Issue: when I close the game (to play another) my animals revert to a previous combo.
Last time: I had no animals breeding. I saved, closed and played again later and my blue cotton tail was missing and a baby orange one was back in the breeder (like it had reverted to before I got the blue one.
This morning: I had a spriggan, cow and cottontail (normal color attempting to get an emerald) breeding. I tuned off the game to do some stuff. When I re-opened the game my spriggan, cow and cotton tail where no longer breeding and I had a baby orange cotton tail again.

We can't sell another animal because the game is telling us that we don't have animals in that stall even though we do.

Issue: Cows and Sheep on a diet.
Most of the ongoing issues I've had are with cows and sheep. I have 3 of each, level 6, max happiness with the trough maxed out to 10 fodder for all the animals yet they start a new day without milk or wool and show unfed.

I've tried emptying the trough, save and quit, close game, back in, refill the trough, sleep for the night. This fixes it for about 2-3 in game days before they're back to not producing resources.

Issue: Spriggan will not take color charm.

I’m working on the animal job quest #8 breed a different color spriggan and cannot get mine to take a color. I leveled 3 of my spriggans to level 6 (bliss) and have tried 7 times between them using a color charm from fae animal vendor each time but it never takes. I do get a baby back each time, but seems odd I never had this much bad luck with the other animals.

I never attempted to color a spriggan till this quest.

Hopefully this is ok I posted here.. but I noticed like me a lot of others had issues with woolyhorns, mamoos and such producing… I did just for those 2 animals and I tried out the dance emote, it’s the one with the music symbols with them, not only it’s it the cutest thing ever!! But it had both of them producing most of the time every day SOMETIMES, every other!!! Before it was like every 4 days!! Hopefully it can help someone else!! It also works with the other animals too!! Just remember the react back so just to make sure you do it so they see you;)

Wasted so many color charms. Still issues with color breeding, with all my animals. The charms never work.

Selling and buying all new animals and try color breeding again also did not work.

Also: The animals walk in the way even though i have a animal lure spot with all types of grass on the other side. So when im attending to my crops/flowers, it’ll select an animal and im petting instead of watering 😭

Not sure if this has been reported already, but I bought a chicken, the day ended before I could register it on my coop, so now she's gone, doesn't show on the coop, I lost the 200 Gold and I can't buy another one because it says I can't buy another animal when one is already following me (which is a boring feature as well, btw, I have to run back and forth to buy 3 chicken instead of buying them all at once, it's lame)

I can still drop new animals to breed. Once the breeding is done the new animal is kunda flickering with it's actual color and the one from the animal I previously sold.

Issue: when the dlc launched the homestead barn had a “grate” like flooring at the entrance. I liked it. You pushed a patch and it’s gone now. It made the barn more real. This also tells me there are chunks of code not reviewed before push which makes me question other things. So the qa process likely has an issue. Simple freeware code compare like winver would highlight when comparing versions of code off a branch.

So the issue fixed with a restart but I’ve gotten it to repeat. In far acres and on the homestead. It’s looking like any time an animal gets near or on top of a harvestable item the item won’t harvest.

3 fixes.

1. Restart
2. Call the animal away with wave
3. Wait for the animal to move and then harvest

When breeding and then selling the animal you bred (I’m breeding for a color). Breed, born, wrong color, pick up animal by speaking to Patel, then go to Jeremiah to sell, animal returns to breeding stall. And sits there.
Does not prevent breeding a new animal but then they “stack” in the breeding stall. A close and restart clears the stall.

This is with manual feeding (no auto feeder). The Fae Farm is okay as is the Hazy Haven farm. Feed shows up properly when feeding the animals on those farms.

Issue: I really like that you can have your farm animals walking around your farm. However, I would love to be able to have them in a secluded area. They always tend to walk over my fields and get randomly stuck in place - sometimes even high up in the air so I cannot reach them anymore. Interacting with them most of the time gets them out of a locked state. However, I cannot wave at them, or instruct them to follow me and the post you can build that would keep the animals in a certain area is also not working. I wouldn't mind this if I would still be able to harvest crops that are directly under the animals, but I can't. + Yesterday one of the chickens got so stuck, that I could not even select it to be pet or anything. Shortly after this occurred, my game crashed.

Issue : I've been experiencing a bug for several days in a multiplayer game where Earline won’t sell me a chicken, claiming that I don’t have space in my barn. However, I have 2 available spaces, and even after selling all the animals, she still says: "You can't buy an animal when another animal is already present in the barn. Move or sell this animal before buying another one."

This bug started when I had bought an animal but couldn’t register it because night fell, and a new day began.

Even my friends can't buy one of these animals.
