I've been playing Fae Farm a lot and when upgrading my gear i noticed a big change when upgrading pickaxe, axe, shovel, watering can and Scythe.

But this does not happen with the fishing rod, capturing net and the magic staff.

I have all of them maxed out and fishing the starter fishes have the same difficulty than day 1, rare bugs still take 2-5 hits to be captured and the monster clock from the First cave still takes the same 3 hits that it took at lvl 1.

I spent a lot of money and patience to meet the requirement to buy the upgrade, why it does not feel like that?

PS : If anything is bad written sorry, im still learning english.

I was wondering about that! There doesn't seem to be any difference between bug net, fishing rod, and magic levels for me either. At most I've noticed a slight attack increase from the magic staff, but not much at all considering my magic is almost max. level.

I dont know about the others, but the first fishing rod "breaks" if you try to fish mountain fish. Thing is, i dont like fishing, so lets say i skipped the normal progression by not fishing at all. So when a quest asked me to fish in the mountains, i couldnt, so i had to upgrade my fishing level and my fish rod in order to get it done. Hope it helps.
