Animal spawning

I just wanna make sure if I’m the only one this happens to, to see whether it’s a bug or it’s just meant to be random.
I got a Chickoo and a Cottontail in my barn. Some mornings they wait for me inside the barn, then other mornings, they’re already wandering outside.
Is this normal?
I’d think they’re always supposed to be inside the barn until I ring the bell?

Perfectly normal. The animals can let themselves outside.

ahh, okay! Thanks for letting me know. Then I probably won’t get any same colored animals cause I’m always stressing in any farming sim, whether I’ve pet all of them 😂😂

When you stand in front of the animals you can see if you already pet or brushed them. So it's no problem when you have more with the same color.

that’s true! But if they wander around I know myself forgetting who I checked already if they’re the same color 🤣 anyway, it’ll be okay

Ive watched my chicken and woolyfluffboll they go automatically outside at 6,30AM

My cow and other animal i need to ring the bell but maybe they come at another time

Oooh interesting. I don’t have a mamoo or woolyhorn yet, so I’ll have to wait a bit to see. ☺️

Some animals prefer warmer or cooler weather. I think all stay in when it rains.
