I'm assuming this has been asked before, but I'm having trouble locating it.

Which are you going to play on?

Pros of Switch:

  • cozy options of playing on TV, in the bedroom, anywhere!
  • game was originally going to be released as a Ninendo Exclusive, so I don't anticipate it running slower

Pros of PC:

  • Cheaper option of $40
  • Generous refund policy
  • achievements
  • OST
  • 60 FPS instead of 30

I'm so freaking torn. I enjoy playing in bed sometimes or on my TV, but the pros of Steam are convincing too.

What are your thoughts? (I do not have a Steam Deck, so that's not going to be an option)

Oof I def see your dilemma. Um I am torn too. Steam isn't an option for me unless I buy it and then just wait until I eventually get my steam deck but I don't want to wait because it comes out on my Birthday. But I also love the option of playing on my switch but I almost feel I should get the physical version instead so if I don't like the game as much as I thought maybe I can just sell it? Or like you said get it on steam and then if I don't like it get my money refunded. I am a little scared to buy it after some things I heard about the early version but maybe I can wait until early access a few days before I think that's a thing.

# autumn flame I'm sorry, but the Steam Deck is not an option for me. I did read that thread th...

Yeah I saw but our thread is kinda similar so yeah, Having a steam is great you play any games you want there also ways for you to download the games you wanna play even thought it be confusing but there other’s that can help discord sever YouTube ect..but there also cons: heavy, less portable.. there also more pros you can also play your steam games on a laptop if ya get one in the future or alr have one.

It's been said the game looks a little more crisp on PC

# cloud skiff May I ask why? I'm curious.

Uhmmm, I love the portability and how the game looks. 30 FPSes are not that heavly bad optimized, so the game stays cool even if it runs at 30. I could get it on PC and run it on a 144hz monitor, but I prefer to have that always with me and not forced to play at home only

Usually, switch games tend to struggle

#

But in this case, the game is super polished

I do agree with that assesment

I also agree.

I am this confident because the game was a switch only game in the begining

I have ADHD, and my boyfriend pointed out to me I have trouble focusing when I'm at my computer. I like to bounce between docked on the TV with my Switch or laying in bed with my Switch. So there's that to consider too. Buuuuut I am a sucker for Steam achievements lol

So they originally made it for Switch THEN porting it on PC

#

When we swap these ^ devs tend to porting games badly

#

Not always eh

#

But it's a little bit of struggle

It's up to your needs

Yeah also if you travel or go out you can always bring the game with you

Yeah, you can go switch first then maybe PC so you can play with your boyfriend too! 👀

I picked the switch for ultimate coziness for my situation. I preordered a physical copy from Amazon so I’m the highly unlikely off chance I’m not satisfied I can return it. Plus it was originally made with the Switch in mind so in my opinion you really can’t go wrong with the Switch 😊
