#Hammer++: Failed to patch Sprite shader

a couple weeks ago error in title started showing when launching hammer++.
On any map in 3D textured view, all brush faces are flickering black.
This doesn't happen in 3D Lighting Preview. It gets better when disabling bump mapping in options. I run hammer++ in Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer. The game is NMRIH.

What I've tried already:

  • reinstalling hammer++
  • removing all game+mod, game+download and workshop paths from gameinfo

What else can I try? Ideas very welcome

you could try getting the 64bit version of hammer ++ for sdk2013mp which goes in Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer\bin\x64 or i think NMRH has its own tools in the bin folder and if nmrh hasn't been updated to 64bit the 32 bit H++ should work with it

the problem you have could be because Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer has been update to the 20th anniversary version and the 32bit tools no longer work as expected

nmrih is on x86 still. I don't think the 20th anniversary update had anything to do with it, because the issue only appeared recently
