#Need help getting model materials from blender into CS2.

You need to make materials in material editor, when imported to hammer it will try to use .vmat files that are the same as models material name
(So you should make materials themselves in material editor, put vmats in [addonname/materials/model/materialname] and then change names of used textures in blender to be something like [materials/model/materialname]
Then when you import it textures will work)
How do I get the materials from blender though? The model that I downloaded has like four different material files it uses for different sections. And I can't figure out how to get it so all of the material image files are getting applied where they should. Does blender not have a way to export the material as a JPG or PNG or something similar that can be used in the material editor and it will function fine?
For reference,
The various textures on the left (I think I have in the right slots) came with the model from the site I found it on. The model on the right i import and export through blender
And this is how it is in blender
How are you importing this model? It looks like uv map isnt getting exported/imported
downloaded the glb, imported into hammer
The image files in the material editor are the ones downloaded from the site
in blender they look like this
Can you show imported model in modeldoc?
add DefaultMaterialGroup and show what it has
Still the same
Heres the 1 warning
Thats my main issue, idk how to get the materials from blender
well did you set defaultmaterialgroup to your material
theres no material, how do I get it from blender
Yes, im aware. But in blender the model has material on it. How do I get the material files from blender to where I can use them in the material editor
When I export as a .dmx or .smd theres no materials that are being exported
You need to make one, check material in blender to see what every texture image is used for, remake that in material editor
Also from warning it looks like you didnt rename material on model
