Might be a stupid thing but i can't fix it, can't find anything on internet

Decided to edit an old texture, i edit it, change the VTF to the new png and boom... the texture work fine in game and in editor, but i cannot align it the way i want because of how high the value are, i can only use the Justify to move it or writing precise value, i've re-created the original image and the VTF 3 time each, tried different flags and option, force resize, with and without mipmap, everything and i can't fix it, i won't refuse some help pls

what size is the image ? if its 512x512 it should fit perfect on a 128z128 brush with 0 x y shift

#

if the image isn't power of 2 then trying to align it will be a pain

It's a power of 2 dont' worry, it's 2048x2048, i've tried 512x512 and 1024x1024 and still the same problem

make a brush 512x512 then texture it, the texture shift should be 0 on x and y if the texture scale is 0.25

#

you should then be able to alt right click that on to other faces

Sorry for late response.

I've tried what you said (just with a 2048 brush because it's the actual texture)

this is the 0.25x0.25 texture

#

and this is after clicking fit, same bug

if the texture is 2048x2048 you place it on 512x512 brush with the scale at 0.25 which is default

#

open the image in photshop or paint.net disable the alpha does the texture look streched in it
