Can't force single thread from within thread!

For some reason whenever I launch hammer I get an error saying "Can't force single thread from within thread!"
I can still interact with the UI but cannot load maps. Is there any fix for this?

try launch hammer++

it might be because you have too many cpu threads for stock hammer to handle

I've tried Hammer++ but it crashes too for the same reason

Try verifying the game file through steam. Maybe you are missing some file and redownloading them will help

You could also delete the files in bin, and verify files, so it download new ones
