re enable fast select?

Hey, stupid question.

On hammer++ before i was able to hold ctrl and drag and it would automatically select things for me, now its just dragging the first object i click on a plane instead. i'm sure its a single button and im just being stupid but any help would be greatly appreciated

I think you just need to press "X"

Because you're on the "brush modifier" mode

Press "x" until you only see the outline
