#Lighting Problem

What is your brightness?
Hmmm the props are lit up. This is strange. May I see the vmf?
the pitch should only go so far as -90 or straight down if you want the light from an angle use the pitch roll yaw settings like this
search valve dev site for proper skybox setting for the sky material you use https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/List_of_Skyboxes#Official_Games_2
The problem is... I'm using custom skybox
nvm, author left vmf file with light_envinroment
ok
still the same problem, only the props have normal lighting
can you send the compile log?
I was able to get it compiled just fine on my end
I think the problem lies with either compilers or compile settings
it could also be one of that weird thing like the tf2 hardwood map
here it is
it looks like your compile tools are having issues with vis and rad try compiling with Source SDKbase 2013 singleplayer compile tools
ok i'll try
if its still no correct lighting post compile log again
it looks like this now
did you load the bsp in gmod
yes
in the log you have a load of these i think the numbers are the co ordinates to the light entity check its settings , the black and purple texture are there because gmod doesn't have them
the textures are custom ones google for REALWORLD texture packs
I remade lights and downloaded textures into source sdk base 2013 singleplayer, the problem isn't fixed
that looks worse than the last one :/
put the real world materials in gmod and try the bsp in there
can you post your vmf
there are those textures in gmod
ok i'll dm u
