but the textures were not converted
The downside is that you have to manually extract textures from CS:GO files
how can you know which textures you have to get? and from where exactly??
I don't know how he did it but I guess you could just look at the list of the materials used and then use GCFscape to get the pak01_dir
you dont need to manually extract textures from csgo wat
if you're porting a workshop map with custom textures then you need to make sure those textures are in your csgo folder
but you dont need to extract anything from anything starting with "pak" (i.e. pak_01dir)
idk he was talking about textures from csgo files sooo
the thing is, im trying to get the maps that were ported from cs 1.6 to csgo and the materials are not getting ported to cs2, i have the vmap and all but not materials and models, even tho i moved them to csgo folder
do the textures show in csgo
and can u show what you moved to the csgo folder (and where exactly you moved them)
these three files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo and yes the textures does show in the csgo hammer
could it be that because of the rename pak01 file, if your map doesn't have custom textures and it's based on the models and materials from the official csgo, the import script doesn't port them?
when i go into the addon folder, no materials or models are being ported
