Hi, I have some issues with custom models...
My model is very far off from the ground plane, how can I move the model origin so that it is centered on the axis?
How can I automatically generate physics/collisions for the model without having to manually add them?
Everything else I figured out. Thanks

the collisions question depends on if its a static prop or dynamic/physics prop

with the origin, there's a node to move the origin but I can't remember it off the top of my head. I'll look

this allows you to transform irrespective of the origin (I think?)

if not you might need to dive into the geometry tools

It is a static prop and it only has RenderMeshList with a .fbx i imported, MaterialGroupList and then PhysicsShapeList with some temporary collisions I made by hand

I added the ModelModifier_Translate, but not sure how to use it

you can use physicsmeshfile

and reuse the render mesh

then tweak the simplify slider until it is as low poly as you can get away with

(this is only applicable for static props)

why don't you just fix your origin in blender or whatever

seems like it does not transform correctly, even with the correct offset origin. the collision is where it would be without the offset

Ok I fixed it! The PhysicsShapeList should have no offset origin, only the ModelModifier_Translate
