Hello guys,

Some time ago (kinda a year ago), I released CSGO map which, although it never got that popular, still had some decent subscribers. Considering it all started as a fun project and mapping is just a little hobby, I'm still happy that people liked it. Right after releasing it, I got suggestions on what to change, but I never took care of it, until (jump forward in time) now. While editing the map, I was wondering if I should update the existing workshop page or just release it again as a new item, but I'm not sure since I don't know if, once updated, the map will be added to the "recent" releases category in the workshop or not. Of course, this might sound like I'm hungry for views (which, in the first place, aren't as important to me because mapping itself what gives me the most joy, and the map already had it's "time to shine"), but I think naturally, one still wants to know how the map would be received by the community after an update.

How do you guys usually handle a situation like this?

if you want maximum visibility, make a new workshop entry

#

new entries are given a bump to the front for about a week

yeah thats what i've been thinking too kinda, so i can observe the stats better. so i suppose, in case i would update the existing page, the map would just continue to rot in page 2424582 of the workshop, or not?

Tag it as v2 or whatever and add hyperlinks to each version in the workshop details on both uploads for extra visibility

Kinda cool to see different map versions and how they evolve
