#func_monitors not working correctly

Like the title suggests, I have two func_monitors that display multiple cameras (not at the same time). However, even tho I made sure the texture is set to fit, they show some kind of weird, zoomed-in image where its hard to even guess if they are portraying the right camera

i have a little prefab i use ,, but when doing a monitor i make a proper sized brush then scale it down with scaling texture lock on then remember to turn it off when textureing and resizing other brushes

I had the same problem and found a workaround somewhere. If you apply a different 256x256 texture (any texture that isn’t a monitor texture I think, I used one of the CSGO water textures), fit that, and then swap back to the monitor texture, that should fix it. For some reason (at least in H++, not sure about default hammer) the fit button doesn’t seem to work right with monitor textures
