1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
You shouldn't care how the lighting looks in hammer++
why
because it isnt close to being representative of what it'll look like in game
does the edge thing disappear in game?
it could
okk
fixing up env_cubemap materials on brush sides...
Generated env_cubemap patch name : maps/rp_downtown_tits_v2_mg_d/MAPS/RP_DOWNTOWN_TITS_V2/REALWORLDTEXTURES/FLOOR/MIXTILE/SOLID/GRAY1_2912_6976_-48_9344_-9728_-101 too long! (max = 128)```
how to fix this
ok so we aren't going to help you with decompiles
rpdowntowntits moment
why
literally in the server rules
youre not a new member
what did you do above then
am i supposed to be telepathic
Decompiling levels creates very broken map files that are not meant to be worked on or compiled. Decompiles should only be used to understand how a map was made or to use that file as a reference for your own projects. Do not work on decompiled files. Do not expect help with problems created by decompiled files. Do not ask for help or advice with decompiled files.
ok then I'll try to find a decompiled version of the map
what
nvm
then why can't I be helped
if I am doing another decompile
you didnt create the map
I didn't create it yes
We don't help with any of the other people working on downtown (clearly stated in the server rules)
you dont know its intricacies in its construction
so us helping you is like the blind leading the blind
and that map is known to broken af
so you guys can't help me because it's too hard for you guys too?
yes its too hard for me
so we're all lazy
also why is it named tits btw
ask the person who named it
