Hi! Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I've looked it up online and anything that mentions it has no replies saying how to fix the issue. I used to be able to render maps fine but now this happens. I've tried reinstalling the authoring tools, and validating the files but neither worked. Please help! 🙂

This server doesn't help with decompiled maps, as they aren't really supposed to be recompiled and cause all sorts of weird errors

@jagged vapor Hi! I've just tried rending a map with the csgo sdk and it worked perfectly fine. So i think its just something to do with the Portal 2 SDK

I actually have this error too with compiling a very simple map (box with info_player_start) with the Portal 2 Hammer.

I think MS broke something, but I am on Windows 10

This must have been within the last couple of weeks since I was able to compile maps with the same setup in late April

Try verifying portal 2 authorising tools and see what happens when you try to compile

So, i have good news and bad news. Good news is it started compiling after verifying both portal 2 and the sdk. Bad news is its throwing up this error now

well the map just finished and turns out decompiling the wakeup sequence breaks the voice lines

ye i tried the zoo map and it worked fine inside the p2 sdk_content folder (the other folder i was trying to do broke it) The issue with the voice lines is just a remanent of decompiling the map, not the logfile issue
