For the most part, I feel like that's the only reason stuff needs to be updated.
I think some of the storm variants of other schools need a remodel. Storm Hound looks so outdated atm đą

Instead of âreworking visualsâ I wanna start seeing yall rework Storm, they donât need to be the only hitters, just straight up make the gameplay more punishing for them as well as rendering cards like Bunyip, tempest, sirens, and storm lord as useless until tier 5
That seems a bit much if youâre only nerfing storm though. Theyâre supposed to be one of the heaviest hitters. Why should it be more punishing for them?
If we nerf storm, youâll have to nerf/buff other schools and bosses, let alone enemies as well, (and Storm already has the biggest pain with its natural 70% accuracy with low HP to begin with. Do we really need to nerf them more when they struggle really bad at some points of the game?) which depending on how much the rework is, could be MUCH more work over visuals
Not to mention, the shadow spells are even harder to cast, lower to 65-60% cast accuracy, and if for some reason you donât have the equipment that helps buff your natural accuracy (there are ways to work around this of course, but the possibility is still there), you can be SOL and relying on RNG luck that might fail you when you most need it.
Iâm not saying it could be a bad thing, but depending on how itâs tweaked, it could cause much more work than intended
Storm has less health and lower accuracy in exchange for hitting harder. That's their whole deal. Why would you make their gameplay even more punishing?
i dont really think the game relies on the randomness as much as it used to, otherwise i'd agree with you on that point.
i personally dislike how pins and jewels have all wizards over 12k health now too, it just feels.. weird
sometimes i don't really feel like im playing the storm school i grew up with anymore due to just how survivable modern storms are

things went too easy soon as we were able to cap our accuracies
twas a challenge back then too, mali robe was the go to for it all
i forgot what world it took for that damn robe to be finally switched, think it was a world in arc 4
Nerfing Storm is a great thing though, it would force the other schools to get good or drown in the crushing depths of failure. Yâall rely on Storm hitting way too much, bout time they changed.
Too make them learn a lesson, if youâre main class is just the hitter making them more of a punishment to play would not only deter more people from playing Storm but if your precious hitter gets beat out really quickly it forces the teammates to pick up the slack, also death needs a complete punishing nerf as well. Yâall necromancers got it too easy.

But why would you punish them? What is the actual reason they should be punished? What reason is there to deter people from playing Storm?
And why would you nerf Death? When I came back to playing after a couple years, I found that a lot of Death spells were much weaker than they were right after the Arc 2&3-wide rework, and it didn't seem deserved.
And you better mean Ice needs to be buffed. Reducing Snowball Barrage's damage from 85 to 45 is almost criminal.

unless im mistaken i def remember seeing certain mobs cast single hit storm lord, tempest, frost giant, and some others
For some reason mobs really like to use path B select target spells as single hits
I donât think Iâve ever seen a select target spell be used on more than one wizard
Which makes taking tree really funny
