So when I first load up wizard101 at the character selection I can it’s play or tap on another character it’s like the game just doesn’t registers my controller even tho I can go to Xbox home no problem I’ve tryed everything to fix this even hard reset my console and uninstall the game an still does it.

Another is when my battery dies on my controller an I change it out an put a new one in the controller an turn it back on I cant move or anything so I have to go to Xbox home an close out the game an go back in all because I gotta swap out battery packs.

I think the bottom issue (Batteries dying) is related to Wizard101 only allowing a single controller input. I've found when swapping from TV to PC (Remote Play) I have to restart my game in order for my Controller connected to my PC to work. It would be nice to allow multiple controllers at once for scenarios like this, but not necessary.

I have found it weird though that when I leave remote play and use the controller connected to my Xbox, it instantly uses my Xbox-Connected controller, meaning I don't have to restart.

Yeah but the character selection screen freezes on me but the game is still playing music an I can’t use any buttons to hit play so I have to close out the game an go back in I had to do the 5 to 6 times do it to finally work an act right

I use a wired xbox s controller and i have the same problem it will just play the music but it wont let me click play or select a character.

So i have to close the game and re-open the game to have it work

Do you have another controller to test/play with? My guess is stick drift might be causing issues. I have very minor drift on my current controller and that messes up me traveling around. And my older one that had it worse I would be ‘froze’ on even the Xbox menus/ unrelated to w101
