#New idea for practicing raids for beginners.

I think this would make the raiding experience a lot better and more accessible. Guilds and players new to raids could try it out without the barrier of key making and the pressure of time limits or the stress of messing up for everyone.
this was gone over in the raids channel and basically cant happen without rebalancing raid values
if everyone can practice a raid and win more then key costs would have to be increased to match the new higher winrates
Huh? It would be a practice raid. There would be no drops. Why would any "values" need to be "rebalanced?" Value of what?
Curious who even is saying that? The guilds that perfect their strategies using free practice sessions on test realm when the raid comes out? The ones who took advantage of the infinite gate opening from one key?
Honestly this shows that KI attaches no value to the time invested, preparation, and scheduling the time around other irl activities. The game is meant to be fun. If players or teams are stressed because new players don't understand the raid and have no way to practice, that isn't fun. If casual guilds are put off raiding because there is no way to practice and learn as a guild, that isn't fun.
We don't pay reagents to participate in other activities that give drops. I don't understand the hangup about letting players learn and gain some familiarity in a more casual, relaxed setting that would not have any drops. If this is the attitude then don't let anyone raid on test realm because that would be free practice and we can't have that. Makes no sense. It also could be limited to say, once per month per guild or something, so new guilds could run training sessions for new players but it wouldn't be constantly accessible. Could also be a requirement to include players who have no raid wins.
Well, I've hardly ever done a raid because there's a huge time difference between Spain and the US, and when Americans do a raid it's almost 2 AM here. They should merge the games so we can have our own time zone and also the game in Spanish, since I've been playing the US version and I don't understand anything, not even the story. If it weren't for the people who know English, I wouldn't enjoy playing Wizards.
ok reread what i said and use your thinker this time
I'm for inclusivity and helping more casual players/guilds get into raiding. You, apparently, are for snark.
It is a bad business model for KI to lock their "end game" activities behind a high barrier of entry. This should be apparent to them because of the large number of players who simply disappear after completing each world, and only re-appear when the next world is released.
I'll add that this issue is often discussed for beastmoon as well. Players have pleaded with KI to have some kind of orientation/practice mode so that new players can get accustomed to the map and have some idea what it's all about. When you have a team activity it can create stress and conflict when new players join and are struggling. Both for the new person and for the team.
i like that you didnt reread anything i said nor did you think at all
