#Trading Gear

My friend and I play together all the time, and so often he will get something that is limited to my character's school and I will get the exact same item for his character's school, and it is so frustrating! Being able to trade this gear would make things so much simpler, rather than just having to sell things and hope for a better drop next time
"Wizard101 is an old game. We don't have the technology for it" - let's just accept our fate..
What about just private sales?
Honestly I can’t see this being a feature unless if you maybe fight a boss that drops gear either with friends or randoms, idk about outside of bosses but this will be a VERY good thing imo
Man i would love to be able to trade “tradable” items and stuff even use the bazaar for private sales would be ok really
It used to just be the fact that ki doesn’t want to add trading for a large dislike of scammers
But now iirc one of the consoles they’re working with is strongly against it too
-# even trading TCs was an issue for them
I do think keeping trading gear away is good.
But we need something to do with all of the junk. We need to be able to break them into Reagents of relevant quality
Feed to pet does this
Not 3 cobwebs and 2500gold
actually, maybe breaking down some gear like Avatar for example should give you a fair amount of moon dust
would be a cool change for unused pieces to breakdown into a portion of whatever their main crafted component is
eg dm gear breakdown -> ichor/aged ichor (ratios and numbers can be tuned)
or even after every major boss fight all main loot rolls goes into a pool. and then people can ‘claim’ their preferred rolls so it alleviates the burden of you got my school loot and i got your school loot and now we have to trash both
Or even just... better reagents and more money?
On another note:
I'm happy KI didn't let you feed pets to pets tbh
I mean u can feed a horse mount to a fairy so do with that what you will
True
Pet: I’m so hungry
The perm horse mount that randomly dropped: How hungry
I do see pretty good potential in the idea having an Npc that allows us to disassemble tier 2-3 gear and reward us with reagents that would be needed for tier 1
